[HELP] Which Technic Set Should I Buy?
Elsior replied to Siegfried's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThanks for the feedback everyone. What should I get if I want to do MOC supercar? The Porsche looks amazing, but for that price I can get 2 8070s.

[HELP] Which Technic Set Should I Buy?
Elsior replied to Siegfried's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHi folks, I'n fairly new to Technic but have about 5 unopened sets, incl Unimog, Arocs, Mobile Crane Mk2. Only reason they're unopened was because I didnt have space at my rental accomodation, but now have moved into my own house with plenty of space for my Lego. I love Porsche but am really disappointed by the poorly engineered Porsche, especially given the price tag. I don't have any other car sets, but seriously considering getting 8070 second hand and use the leftover cash for another set. I plan to modify 8070 as I learn more about Technic. 8070 seems to be much better bung for the buck even given its rarity. Would you recommend 8070 or 42056?

Buying Pirate LEGO - where to buy, advice, tips and questions
Thank you for the advise, all. And yes, I'm heavily leaning towards getting the Imperial Flagship. I plan to mod it, by at least adding cannons and redcoat minifigs. With PotC ships, I will have to add zombie crew, otherwise it will look ackward...

Buying Pirate LEGO - where to buy, advice, tips and questions
Hi everyone, I'm considering to either buy: a 10210 Imperial Flagship, which I love for its accuracy and generic pirate theme (easier to mod) OR 4184 Black Pearl and Queen Anne's Revenge (both would cost just slightly more than a single 10210) OR Bricklinking them gradually The catch with Bricklinking is I live in Australia and there is limited amount of local Bricklink sellers here, meaning I have to source from overseas sellers and shipping fees add up fast. Any opinions?

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
In Star Wars lore, was AT-AT exclusively deployed in snowy planet (like in the Battle of Hoth) or was it also deployed in other climates? Somehow Googling this led to nothing so trying my luck here. :)

75098 Assault on Hoth
I wonder why Lego has gone the lazy way in designing this 'UCS' set. Could Disney be involved in this decline? Hopefully this will not set a precedent for future UCS sets.

Thank you for sharing the LDD file. Building Brickplumber's AT-AT is one of my life goals, that's how much I love it!

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Up to watching Episode 7 in mid December 2015, I only collected Technic. Now me and my partner have started to collect Lego Star Wars. She never knew much about Lego nor Star Wars, so pleasantly surprised of her having the same taste. In the last 1.5 months, we've got: Slave 1 UCS TIE Fighter UCS Millennium Falcon (2015) First Order Transporter Kylo Ren's Shuttle Imperial Shuttle Tydirium First Order TIE Fighter Naboo Starfighter Death Star Final Duel AT-AT (2014) Buildable figures: Darth Vader Grievous Kylo Ren Captain Phasma First Order Stormtrooper
