[REVIEW] 42056 - Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Wedge598 replied to Jim's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingOrdered mine on day June 1 and just got an email from Lego stating that a shipping issue has caused a big delay and I won't see the set unit late August. Kind of disappointed but on the other hand most of my building is in the winters here in the states.

[MOC] BMW M4 DTM 1:10 racecar with PF
Wedge598 replied to brunojj1's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingWhen I built this model I left out the RC Components so I didn't have this particular problem. I did find a few other parts of the build around the doors that didn't seem to fit the way the instructions implied. Some minor modifications were necessary in a few spots.

Nico71's Creations
Wedge598 replied to nico71's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingNico, you are a genius. I love your work and am envious of your abilities. This weekend I took a shot at building the Honda. I don't have the RC parts so I converted it to a standard model by putting in some extra beams to stiffen it out where the motors and battery box where. I love your attention to detail in the suspension and engine. I may some slight modifications to the rear wheel hubs to prevent them from slipping out of place when I press down on the suspension. I also made a very simple modification to provide a sturdier support for the front suspension cover. Since I only had gray ribbed hoses in shorter lengths my exhaust system is slightly different but still contains the same number of pipes. I made a few other minor mods to the windscreen to suit the parts I have. I'm waiting for my order of universal joints so I can add the final sway arms and the it will be complete. If you are interested I can post some pics of my mods. Thanks for great model!

Wedge598 replied to Jim's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingOrange works for me. I like the color and it should go well with my large white collection to give me some decent color options.

[MOC] Mini Monster Car
Wedge598 replied to Oliver 79's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThis is fantastic. I used to love monster trucks too and really like the proportions you've got here. Reminds me a lot of a few monster truck RC cars I have. I'm blown away by the ingenious 4 wheel steering design. Great job!

42056 - Porsche Speculation
Wedge598 replied to Jim's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingCount me in the list of Americans who love the Technic sets. I've very excited about this Porsche set. So much so that I just bought a couple new sets so that I would have enough pieces to build Paul's Porsche GT3. Which I've spent the last week tweaking the design of to better accommodate my part collection.
