  • What is favorite LEGO theme? (we need this info to prevent spam)
Which theme is my favourite kinda depends on my mood, jack of all trades master of none sorta thing, at the moment if I had to pick one I'd say Star Wars at the moment. My most recent purchase was 7 marvel cmf blind boxes.
  • Which LEGO set did you recently purchase or build?
the special Asda version of the city supermarket

  1. Batman and Robin is even better than Batman forever because it's fully leaning into the insanity. An Arnold Freeze, Uma Ivy and Green Bane would be great. Freeze's stupid Tank would be a fun set. ( Unlikely though considering it's not a batvehicle!).
  2. Yeah sometimes Lessbius is Morbius.
  3. May be also means may not be. I'm not losing hope.
  4. Yeah that Switch 2 announcement might have injured my Lego budget, though I won't get it till there's some interesting exclusive games I don't just want a new console for the sake of it.
  5. No not really. Okay perhaps saying 'I liked' rather than was good would have gotten the point across better but different people like different things and me liking different things different amounts to different people hardly defeats my point.
  6. Yeah I expect they'll include a mix of some in uniform and some in their proper outfits. They could copy 2013 and have Joker be the one in the Arkham inmate jumpsuit, because his normal outfit is the most accessable anyway of all of Batman's rogue's gallery.
  7. Yeah brick built Lobbo just makes sense. Thanks Sora and Arin in some form are pretty much guaranteed, yeah. Geo and Bonzle would be great to get but this doesn't feel like the right place for them TBH. I had hoped we might get a big D2C take on the Monastery for the 15th anniversary set but it might be a City Module instead.(Both in one year would be too much!) I guess that depends on how much this set connects to the city! But point is theres a few characters that'd make more sense there than here. Frohickey would probably come in the monastery too if they make it but repeats are nothing new! Characters that are mostly based in the crossroads or were first seen there would be sensible like Kreel, Dorama or Chef grabbag. Then again minifig inclusions don't always make perfect sense .
  8. It would be awesome if an inmate uniform that might come in the Arkham set would reappear in the Magazine. The DC magazine is definitely the most repetitive of the Lego magazines ( but also must sell well enough to continue?! DC fans exist!?!???!!!! Wonderful!) and a massable inmate rather than another batman would be awesome. I mean it wouldn't come as an inmate but a named villain in prisoner uniform but the torso and legs would allow massable inmates!
  9. Give into your hope! Let the light of the blue lantern change and restore you!
  10. Minecraft is actually a pretty perfect choice for an AC as it's full of little builds for Mobs, took stations and such. Do we know if the Mobs from the movie sets will use thier normal designs? I kinda hope so otherwise they really just wouldn't fit in, and the movie versions are based on the game versions anyway. I mean I'm sure Steve and the humans will just be regular figs but I hope they don't make a different style of mobs just to use it for a few sets and then go back to normal. Kinda like the Original Clone wars sets and the faces contained there in.
  11. I think we won't have an Oscorp or Baxter Building set this year. DC os getting the large minifiguire system D2C. Marvel will probably get something more like the 76105 hulkbuster, the 76210 hulkbuster, the 76215 black panther or the 76042 Helicarrier. I think the idea that the Alfred Molina Doctor Octopus train set was a Book nook (or book ends) was based on a misunderstanding and won't be the case. Also I have to hope that they'd use any other Spider-verse sets to fill character holes that wouldn't fit in the CMF especially either version of SP//dR. Hopefully they'll give the 3rd movie a proper wave when it comes out so I'd rather they saved the second suit for that and do the one from the first movie sooner. Scorpion from Into would also work better in a set. Maybe a fight at May's house. With Peni, SP//dR, May, Scorpion, Tombstone Spider-Ham and Miles. Save prowler for the CMF.
  12. Just because you don't get excited for something doesn't mean you should assume the same thing applies for others. Also the Accolyte was good. Not perfect but still enjoyable. It deserves a set far more than we need another OT remake. The sequels I won't defend to same degree because TFA and TLJ are only Okay and TRoS is actually terrible. But different people like different things, you need to accept that. I like Legends as much as like Canon. Both have thier ups and downs. And TBH both could be considered fanfiction to a degree Sidenote here but I don't really think the term fanfiction should be used as an insult though, because fanfiction has as much potential to be good or bad as original fiction. And if we're talking stories based on existing stories then historical stories are in the same realm, and plenty of Shakespeare's plays are based on existing stories from history (warped though a Tudor lens but alsa) and shakespeare is held up as a king of literature so why should other stories based on existing stories be held down?
