Modular MOCs for sale
My MOCs consume too much space, so I would like to sell them. I would like to sell them in two packs, and not to split the packs. Furthermore, because the packs are large, I prefer to personally meet the buyer, and not to ship them (I have no idea how to ship, it would require a pallet). Location is Budapest, Hungary. You can find more high resolution images https://flickr.com/photos/138715943@N07/albums on my Flickr page, and also in this topic https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/187471-moc-weekly-modulars-14-house-with-shop/ Pack 1Approx 16500 pieces and 36 minifigs. Price: EUR 1400The train has Power Functions electronics. The pack also contains a standard round track with 16 curved and 4 straight rails, which is not on the images. There are some vehicles too, see images. Pack 2Approx 17000 pieces and 29 minifigs. Price: EUR 1400 All the nuildings have waterfront. They fit seamlessly to each other and also to the normal modular series. The train engine has no electronics. The factory has a short extra rail section with a road crossing, which is not on the images. The Market Street is bricklinked, and few bricks are replaced.

[MOC] Sweeper Truck
kodlovag replied to kodlovag's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThank you for all the comments Well, I have to say I really hate making videos. I don't have the right tools, nor the video editing skills. Up to now I made few videos only, each for TC competitions, because it was compulsory. But I consider making one. Until that happens, here is this extra image about the internals. I already heard about this competition, it is a good idea to submit the sweeper. I have to check the rules again.

42141 - McLaren Formula 1™ Race Car
kodlovag replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHmm... I expected something more. I'm not really happy with the Tumbler's tires, they only work with that big covering disc. I expected the Defender's tires. Still seams to be a good part pack, especially with all the new frames and panels. But I will wait for a big discount.

[MOC] Sweeper Truck
I just wanted to create something, which has never been done in Technic. Features All the brushes are spinning Brushes are operated by either the PF motor or the rear wheels. There is a gearbox inside, and the trans green lever on the side selects the driving method, or turns off the brushes Side brushes can be turned out, and locked by a two state spring system Front brush can be tilted, also can be removed Rear differential and 2 cylinders engine HoG steering Tilting driver's cab Opening doors, auto closing by rubber bands The blue brushes has a pin hole, and a rubber string was pulled through them together with an axle, that's provide the friction to spin. See more high res images on my Flickr page.

[MOC] Mini Snowgroomer
kodlovag replied to kodlovag's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThanks for all the comments! I swear I tried several colors for the seats, because I heard so many complaints abiut the blue seats in the official sets. But blue was the best fitting. I have never considered to use the red clutch gears. The decision was about using the old or new type of 16T gears, and I selected the old style, from which I have exactly six in stock, and never used for anything because they might not strong enough. But perfect for this case, and actually looks a bit better here, than the new version.

[MOC] Mini Snowgroomer
I built this mini snowgroomer a while ago, but there is winter now, so it is actual to post. It is the mini version of the 8263 set. There are two functions operated by the white buttons behind the cabin The front blade can be tilted left-right The smooting plate at the back can be elevated Originally I also wanted to elevate the blade using one of the seats as a lever, but the solution was too bulky, and I dropped it.

kodlovag replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingProbably you are right with the 2L beams

42133 - Telescopic Loader
kodlovag replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThat steering cannot work. Use this part at the end of the axle instead https://img.bricklink.com/P/11/33299.jpg[\img] It has to point forward, when the wheels are straight, and connect the pins with a 6L beam diagonally. (The set probably uses a 6L long section of a black 7L beam) My version contains 141 bricks

[MOC][IDEAS 5k] Zoo
Well, the Zoo has been approved, and now it is gathering supporters. And within less, than one day it already reached 100 supporters. Wow! I did not expected that. Now I'm quite excited. Here is the link to the Zoo on Ideas If you like it, please support.

[MOC][IDEAS 5k] Zoo
I submitted it on Ideas. Let's see what happens...

[MOC][IDEAS 5k] Zoo
Thank you for all the comments. As far as I know the piece count allowed by IDEAS is 3000 only. This Zoo has about 4700 pieces, but in ideal case it would require extra bricks to furnish the room of the caretakers. So it's a bit too large. Another problem could be, that it contains a modified part of the Ewok village set. Also contains a rock from one of the Hobbit sets. Both designed by someone else, and even worse, part of a licensed set. I'm prettey much sure it would be refused. But who knows... It's better to try than just speculating.

42133 - Telescopic Loader
kodlovag replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI also tried to complete a version of the telehandler. Based on your model I tried to move the cab back by one stud. In this case the lever based method for the boom cannot work anymore, because its axle will collide with the steering axle. On the other hands, all the pins of the boom are frictionless pins, so it cannot stay at elevated position without hand assisting. So I think the boom works differently, it must be wormgear based. There must be a 8 tooth gear at the center in between the bent liftarms, and the wormgear can fit below that. The wormgear is controlled from the back of the telehandler. That is a very common solution among mini technic sets. The steering liftarm can still fit underside. Unfortunately I cannot show my model, because I left it on my other computer, and I cannot access it before next weekend. :(

42133 - Telescopic Loader
kodlovag replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingBased on the catalog image I would say that the cab should be one stud backward compared to its current position.

[MOC][IDEAS 5k] Zoo
Zoo on Ideas If you like it, please support I always wanted to build a zoo to my modular city, but I could not find a good model to follow. I wanted a compact build, but single baseplate mocs looked more like animal storage containers, than an actual zoo. On the other hand, good zoos had a huge floor area. After several attempts to draw a good floorplans I ended up with the result, that the zoo must be multi level. And therefor it will consume many bricks, and will be expensive, and the animals are also expensive. So I delayed the project. Then at the 2017 XMas raffle I was so lucky to win on Christmas day, and the extra prize were animals: tiger, leopard, black panther, pink pig. I already had some birds and an aligator, so it was clear that the zoo must be built, now or never. I ended up with a design, were the animals have a large free area at the base level, and the visitors can walk over the area on hillside and hanging pathways. The most similar idea was the Ewok village. I found, that it could fit on two baseplates, and could be the base of a nice jungle scene. With two other baseplates I managed to add a forest and an arctic scene divided by a hill. Inside the hill there is a cave with bats and a snake in terrarium, and there is also a room for the animal caretakers with access to each areas. And this is the result. It is still easy to divide the zoo into single baseplates. The jungle scene is the most complex. The four support trees are the exact copies of the Ewok village, while the treetops are modified to fit into the zoo. The left tree is the feeding tree. Kids can feed the pig, but the original escape feature of the tree is still there and works fine, and the pig could be dropped down to feed the felines. The middle tree is the monkey tree, chimps live there. The third one is the bird tree with the bird cage. Home of a colorful tropical parrots and a white owl. I also wanted to add an eagle, but the flying eagle is simply too big, cannot fit well, and it would simply be animal torture to keep one captured in such a small bird cage. In front of the bird cage the visitors can use the cat caller drums. There are three drums, one for each feline, which calls them into the stone circle, and the visitors can watch them through the glass floor lookout. The right tree is for pet caress. The hamsters and the bunny all love the kids, and especially some carrot. Next scene is the forest with a black bear and a skunk, and there is also a gray owl in the tree. The scene features a waterfall, and the water flowing around the scenes, to the arctic, then to the jungle, and then pumped back up to fall down again. There is a pathway going up to the top of the hill. Last scene is the arctic. This one includes the zoo entrance, compatible to the modular street. Polar bear and pinguins live there. There is the access to the caretaker area at the bottom, and the entrance to the cave. Also the pathway continues to the top of the hill. I completed this zoo in 2018. Since that many new animals has been released, some of them like the reindeer or the brand new tucan or the rare flamingo could be immediatly added. But it would also be easy to expand the zoo with new area for the elephants and lions from the last years City Wildlife rescue sets. There are some extra images at my flickr page, also higher resolution ones. This is definitely one of my favourite build. Comments are welcome.

[MOC] Weekly modulars #14 - House with Shop
#14 House with Shop Year built: 2018 Pieces: 1309 bricks Well, this is the last house I built. I wanted to start a suburban area around the city center, but I just stopped at the first house. I have few more LDD designs, but all semi finished. I'm not sure to post them ther or not. This house was also strongly inspired by other great works: Shop front: Black Velvet by @Kristel Color scheme: Music Teachers Home by Sebastian-Z Car, reverse engineered, originally white by @Nightfall

[MOC] Weekly modulars #14 - House with Shop
The supports are the 30517, 57893 or 58827 pieces. The straight sections are connected by Technic beams: on 16 or 32 long sections they can easily hold the train, like a mini bridge or overpass. See the high resolution images on my flickr page. Thank you. Unfortunately, there is not much left. Just a house, and the zoo. Then I focused more on Technic, and recently back to castle.
