  1. I'm confused. Does that mean that a MOC is a purest custom as well? I thought this forum was supposed to be a haven for non-purist customisers.
  2. Siegfried replied to Corvus's post in a topic in LEGO Town
Oh sorry! :-$ Yes, I meant the one in the signature... which you seem to have fixed now! X-D
  3. Oh. Well since that's what he said then I stand corrected. Can't say that I agree with his point though... 8-| To me a custom should at the least use a part beyond its intended use. (Most of Chucks MOCs are like that. ;-))
  4. Siegfried replied to Shadows's post in a topic in Community
Sorry for taking so long to respond! I read this straight away but never got around to replying... :-$ Excuses aside, it was one of the funniest things I have read all year! I just hope that it is a joke and not reality.... :-P
  5. I like the Batman knight. There was actually a comic based in the past where Batman was a knight. I can't remember the name of it though... :-| Errr... so what is custom then? If there are no part mods, new parts or paint jobs with these figs then they are MOCs, not customs, and should be moved to the "Other Themes" forum... 8-|
  6. Updated. Indeed you are; from what I've heard the first run ended around about then. :-P
  7. I don't have a problem with that piece. I don't think Lego overuse it and it is far more usable than the 1x2x5 piece, which I think is overused. :-/
  8. Please don't do that. If you are ignored be gracious; accept it and move on. Don't re-post giant images for the second time in some childish effort to get some attention. Honestly, my five year old boy does stuff like that; "Daddy? Daddy? Daddy?". I hope you aren't like this live... :-/ Having said that, you have done some fine detective work, and I think you could be right with most of them. (I think you are wrong on the 4x1 plates open/explode for example. They seem to be just decoration to me, especially since that 12x12 piece just fits in the hole provided...)
  9. What stickers? I thought they were printed?
  10. Well I tend to not insult those as they were intended to be a step between the Duplo men and the mini-figures. From a design point of view I think they were a success. If Lego made the sets look better the line may have even worked. For example, the set that those pieces come from... :-X The trailer is OK but the truck itself?! *wacko* Horrid, just plain horrid.

What a beautiful little boat! *wub* It makes such a great action still. It may not be 100% realistic but it's still great work. Thanks for the story too! *sweet* (By the way, you seem to have made a mistake with you Brickshelf link. Or is everything on Brickshelf your work? X-D )

He's a very talented buider. A true artist. Something I don't think I have in me... :'-( That looks like pure evil and I love it! *wub*
  13. The 4-Juniors line did have some good pieces in them. Shame almost all the models were lame. :-/ Good find! *sweet*
  14. Siegfried replied to Vader's post in a topic in LEGO Town
That is one of my favourite heads! *wub* Thanks very much. *sweet* Sorry for missing it and thanks for showing me the way to the divine pricelist. :-$
  15. That is beautiful. *wub* It is very detailed and looks pretty realistic to me. I have considered that set several times but didn't buy it largely becuase of the older motorised parts. (Is your MOC motorised?)
  16. Siegfried replied to Bull's post in a topic in Hello! My name is...
In this modern world that's close enough! :-P
  17. Siegfried replied to Indy565's post in a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I hope this didn't take you too long... 8-| Lego do this a lot with the town sets too.
  18. Siegfried replied to Jones's post in a topic in Hello! My name is...
Welcome to Eurobricks! I look forward to seeing your town when it is re-built. *sweet*

    Snow scouts? X-D
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks! *sweet* Force powers eh? Where do you live? I have this Lego piece that fell behind a cupboard and I just can't reach it. :'-(

Welcome to Eurobricks! *sweet* Oddly we don't seem to have a lot of French regulars here any more... :'-( Do you know xwingyoda personally? I wouldn't worry about having bad English; you seem OK to me.
  22. Siegfried replied to PSPguy's post in a topic in LEGO Town
Errr.... no. As Brikbitz said on his site in the 7732 postal plane review... I was wondering if it is the old or new type. How did you find out the price? If you are right then this is a must buy! *wub*
  23. Thanks for the photos and review Brickmaster. I'm hoping to find this on sale as well... no luck so far. I love the white ship, and I think the base would be amusing, but ultimately hard to re-use. Incidentally, that long axel is common in recent technic sets, but I think it was orignally made for the hockey sets. :-D
  24. Siegfried replied to Zuloon's post in a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Indeed it is pretty cool. That guy has a lot of very impressive mechs in his folder. *wub*
