Yep, that would have been great! :-P

What did you buy today?
Got 7664 Tie Crawler on a slight sale from Toyworld. It is much better than I thought. Thanks! It's an oldie but a goodie! :-D Still no luck for me. :'-(

Please put more work in your topic name next time. A topic called "Lego" doesn't really tell much here. Even so, I do agree that some the reviews are lame. The X-Wing has some good ones though.

Starship MOC
I have no problem with square ships...but you do need to be careful when you make them to make it clear that square was the point, rather than because you didn't have enough slopes. Using your example, the Borg cube is designed for space only and is just a cube, so I think it makes sense in a weird kind of Star Trek way. If on the other hand one of the sides was a dome, it would have looked odd. To me the back of your ship pulls it off well, but the front doesn't. I suggest sloping up the front more, or blocking up the back so it looks more consistant. The landing gear need some tweaks too; using just 4x2 doesn't look good in my opinion. This reminds me of a squarer and white version of a ship of mine... Please don't say things like that. A mod (Hinckley) and an admin (Vader) have already said the same. Anti-grav? Ahghhghhhhghhhhh! *sing*

UCS Jedi Starfighter
:-$ I never realised that. The box is great work though and it had me fooled when I first saw it. Ultimately I decided it was fake as it was too good and thus too expensive. If only I noticed the easier way. :-D

7732 Review
What a cute little plane...that I probably won't buy! :-D I don't have room for an airport and I just bought the air ambulance set. I suppose though it does depend on price. X-D I wonder why Brickbitz is so sure that the guy isn't a pilot... 8-| Well I never assumed that!

7671 AT-AP Walker Review
Thanks for the extra pics brickbitz! This set has a lot of nice parts... Err no.

2008 Creator - 4995 Cargo Copter Review
Disapointing. I wanted a new minimotor. :'-( On the other hand I was concerned how the battery would work so maybe it is better this way. Oddly though I still find this set compelling; I don't believe I have any of those grey barrels.... *sweet* Thanks for the review brickbitz. *sweet*

The Ancient Walrus revealed

Fernos V.3
I tend to agree with Johnny 5; the abs are great but probably should be either lighter or thinner. I also agree that the scar tends to blend into the cheek. Perhaps a darker colour? I think this is really good though and it seems incredible that you are a newbie at this. 8-

The Ancient Walrus revealed
Sorry for coming to the party late! I'm starting to get the impression that people are trying to highlight that I should have done a mech entry. :-/ First Hinckley does a Fabuland character, to which I whine "but the head is so hard, bla bla bla".... and then you make exactly what I should have done! *wub* Personally, aside from making this look exactly like a Fabuland figure, I think this is perfect, especially your smart choice of weapon. :-D The tusks are a smart solution, and I love the beefy arms and roomy enclosed cockpit. *sweet* The pots are a great idea too! :-P My only complaint is you missed my hat! I did... even though it does show me up as a pathetic untalented whiner. :-$

Hey there, 'sup?
Well, that's proof enough for me. Hopefully CJ will clarify things, possibly here. Thanks for filling me in; I checked the site too but I didn't check the parent site... 8-|

Hey there, 'sup?
Well everyone is welcome here, and we will never go black!* *sweet* Have fun on EuroBricks! *wub* (What happened to iBricks? conductorjoe who I believe ran the site, is a member here. It was on-line only a few months ago. Why are you so sure it's dead?) *Not an actual guarantee.

The Your Own Creations Forum
Well I see your point... but while a simple layout is great if you want to just randomly browse, it makes it hard if you want to browse set themes. It makes it even harder for people posting; should they post where it is logical, or should they post were some people go to browse.... Ultmately I think the changes are pleasing people who want clarity, and annoying those that prefered the randomness. :-/ You can't please everyone with change, and sorry to say it seems you are one of the annoyed ones. Aside from reversing the changes, do you have any ideas of how to make things more to your liking?

LEGO Alien Figs
Real aliens. That would be so cool. I think Lego should fund a trip to Alpha Qunataur 23, bring back some real aliens and then shrink them. It would save on printing costs too. :-/ I wouldn't. The topic was only saved because Eurobricks has a great diversity of characters and silly topic are our specialty! :-P The fact that the aliens are exceedingly lame has already been discussed before and nothing will change no matter what any of us say. Lego decided that they wanted a cheap alien and that is what we got. Mars Mission will probably have no life after the the new sets and the jellies will never be seen again. The fact that they have a second wave shows that they sold OK and probably means that instead of a better alien, next time we will get a different lame alien. :-|

MOC: Copmike Mech
That's pretty cool! :-D I think that looks perfect actually. My problem was that the walrus has a brown head, and without breaking my MTT I wouldn't have enough. I should confess at this stage that Tom Platz used to be a role model for me. :-$ My perception of correct leg size probably should be ignored! :-P
