  1. To be honest I want the set for the brown chain links. The last time I got chain links was when I got 744 for Christmas about 20 years ago... :-P A lot of the other parts are great too. Thanks for the pics though. *sweet*

Stauder: Great first Mech! *sweet* LuxorV Building it in two colour! For being a smarty pants you lose 4 points. ;-) zero1312 You did a great job making the head resemble your sig-fig. DJ Force: I love the Turntable-Blaster and Dr. Pepper Cannon. :-D Brickmaster Very nice looking mech. (I actually think the colours work well. *sweet* ) steelharbingerofdeath Great mech... but I can't see the resemblance... 8-| 7ames: I can barely see it... :-/ No comment. Trexxen: That's a very interesting looking mech! 23 points for originality! *sweet* Exobuilder: I really like this one... and to be honest I don't know why! Batbrick: Errr... man... that is odd! *wacko* 456253 points for originality! It even has an interior! :-P phred:Breaking bionicles I see! X-D But jokes aside, that is really cool! *wub* Benk: Beautiful. *wub* What more can I say? AgentRick57: Looking at this gives me flashbacks of Power Rangers. -40 points! ;-) Hinckley: I'll save my comments for your topic... X-D So who gets my votes? I voted for Hinckley in the "Best Resemblance of Sig-fig" and phred as "Best Overall Mech". Benk gets special mention for making such a wonderfully beautiful mech... but I think it looks too generic to be a sig-fig mech...

For the price you pay they should come with one and a babe (your choice of gender ;-) ) for the passenger seat. X-D
  4. Gee you guys, get with the times. :-| Months ago Toys R Us had a video ad on their front page for the Republic Cruiser, X-Wing and Hoth Base. It was generally silly and had things like Leia stealing the Republic Cruiser... but I can't remember much about it now. :-$ It was funny though.
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks. *sweet* I just tried to find "Imperial13" on Brickshelf and after several failures I realised you said "brickset". :-$ So, aside from James Bond, what themes do you like?

Great interview! *sweet* I almost think I know him now. Prior to this interview the only things I knew about Snefroe was where his name was from, where he was from... and that he doesn't think my space craft are good enough to comment on. :'-( I think truer words may have never been spoken before! *wub* I used to always drool over pictures of that ship. Hear Hear! Bring back monorails! *sing*

Oh. So they don't work without an external compressor?
  8. Thanks for the great photos. *wub* I didn't realise that you posted more photos; I only worked it out when I noticed that Vaders said "In Depth"... :-$ I heavily recommend you create a new topic next time. Many people, like me, don't go back to old topics. Interestingly some of your photos show detail that Vader missed; I am clearer on how the launchers deploy now. Thanks. *sweet*
  9. I still haven't broken any major finished MOCs... but I suspect that time is coming soon! Since I have under 10 major MOCs it isn't that surprising. :-$ But I have broken many half finished ones, and many small ones. All vigs I do for here I break very soon after (my princess one is still together though), but I take enough photos of them to be able to re-build them anyway. My ship Strife will probably be recycled soon due to its size. :'-( Lego CAD programs don't work for me. Admitadly I haven't tried that much, but I need the physicalitiy of bricks to build stuff. For example, my ship Strife is balanced to sit on it's landing pads. I actually needed to remove 2 stud lengths of pieces at a late stage when I found the nose was becoming too heavy. Additionally, the curved wall couldn't take the weight as well as I thought so it needed structual struts at a late stage.... I can go on. Stuff like that you can't do in CAD. Additionally, I spent time in front of a mirror testing out swoosh-ability and I made some mods because of that. :-$ Is that a joke? 8-
  10. Thanks! I'll model the badge when it arrives. X-D
  11. That's what I get for being a smarty pants. :-|
  12. Siegfried replied to Stauder's post in a topic in LEGO Town
    Ouch! 8-
  13. If this is an entry you need to post it here to count. *sweet*
  14. I'm impressed. *wub* This is way more detailed than your last one! The set pieces are pretty good too. But it leaves me wanting more and I am confused as to what Hinckley's angle is in all of this!?!? *wacko* How long to I have to wait? 8-|
  15. I haven't looked at this before and I have to say so far it's pretty stunning. *wub* The capstan looks great and that mast height is impressive. Are you planning on making it in sections? It's going to be big! 8-
  16. Nah, they are old. The hinge piece I have in my Slave 1, the radiator is a racer/turbos part, and the pinned plate is old. Ahh well. Thanks for the extra photos. *sweet*
  17. :-D I get kick-backs from Lego. Please tell me if you end up buying it. ;-) Yeah, I felt the same way. Prior to doing the scan I thought it was just a big wheel with bits added. Looking closer at it made me change my mind too. :-$
  18. That set is beautiful! *wub* The trucks look so great and that tarp piece would be very useful. I didn't realise that it had a golden chest either. What is the piece that the wheels attach to; is it new? I really love the suspension effect. Unfortuntaly I was/am planning on missing this set as I want the others for the mini-figs and I'm not sure if I want 4 Indys! Ahh well, they don't turn up until March in Australia so I have a while to decide. :-/ Thanks so much for doing this great review. It's pretty darn good for a first too. *sweet* Nice plug! :-P
  19. Hinckley: I'm impressed that you did an entry, and it's pretty good too! *wub* Almost makes me wish I did one but according to my clock I have only 3 hours! :-|
  20. That's a great story, thanks for sharing it. To my embarassment I have to admit that Pirates was one of the things that made me lose interest in Lego; I saw the varied printed faces as wrong for some reason.... :-$ I think I'm over it now. :-D
  21. Well to be honest, I'm disapointed. I was hoping for an interior and expecting that it would hold all three mini-figs. :'-( I'm not even sure if you could give it an interior without a complete redesign. Even so, I think the ship looks pretty cool, and I love the figs... especially Juno! *wub* (I get excited by boobies on mini-figs; am I sick? :-D ) Since this set will probably cost $120 AUD I can't see myself buying it. Thanks very much for an excellent review Vader. I was stunned how many photos you took! 8-
  22. :-P My pleasure! *sweet* These sets look pretty darn good! I hope the price is too! X-D

I got my S@H order a few days ago... and I at last have a real X-Wing! *wub* I wanted this set so much that last year I made one with what I had! :-D (Largely an ARC-170.) I'll probably break the old one now... but I think I will replace the guns with my design as the official design seems too short to me. I also got my 10183 Hobby Train. I'm not sure if people are aware what a great set this is. (Especially at half price!) Even after making the main model... ...you still have all these parts! *sweet* It's one of those sets you could buy 10 of and still find use for everything. *wub*
  24. A black Vader helmet! 8-
  25. I've heard the same myself. But IMHO there are too many for it to be just that; besides they appeared just recently.
