  1. Happy Birthday! Have a great day. :-P
  2. Welcome to Eurobricks. So there still are some Bionicle fans out there. The last Bionicles that I didn't mind were the Pirakas; I just loved their smiles so I bought Thok. Any idea why the BZP forums are down?
  3. Welcome to Eurobricks. I look forward to news from www.hispalug.com. (There is nothing wrong with your English; it is just a silly language that doesn't make much sense!)
  4. Soon it will be mine.... or so I hope! *wub*
  5. I look forward to seeing all four together!

    Does anyone actually like him?

My bucket! And it's only 30 cents! (Shame that none of the sellers are in Australia. :'-( ) I will look into it. Currently I don't have Photoshop installed... Princess Leia Slave Girl costume. *wub* EDIT: Wow! Who said dreams don't come true?

Interestingly I was dreaming about this promised creation last night. I can't remember much from the dream, but it looked like a Lego soccer set with a black fence around it... I just thought I should share that with you. :-$ I loved use of Fabuland accessories; it is a shame that bin isn't blue...

Well while you have been making little stories, my MOC is 90% finished. Top that! The bucket is as good as mine. On a more serious note, I suspect that Hinckley's photos will be better than mine, but we shall see. Yesterday I did a huge re-arrangement so I have a better place to take photos. With another light or two we could have similar results... I hope. :-P :-X Very ugly mental picture, but take away the "mate" part, and change the "year" to "month" and you would be close to what I thought. :-P X-D Where do you get these great cat pictures?
  10. Jar Jar is busy collecting apples that he happened to find at a market when he accidently hits Darth Maul in the head. Jar Jar says "meesa sooo sorrwy" but Maul will have none of it. He ignites one blade, and then the other, and then proceeds to start doing his incredible-but-pointless jumping around. Jar Jar however is still hungry so he goes for another Apple, causing Darth Maul to trip and fall on his own blade. "Messa da Winna" proclaims Jar Jar as he tries for a third time for the same apple...
  11. That attitude is all well and good, but stories should then be labled as "alternate reality" or something in those cases. Comic do similar things, but generally make it clear when a story isn't canon. Many people do take Star Wars too seriously and try to fit every little story into the Star Was reality.
  12. I agree. I do the exact same thing. When I first started using it I had trouble as I couldn't remember all of my sets from 30 years ago. Sometimes it was clear I had a set becasue I owned a certain piece. For example I own a black classic sword, and that only came in one set...

Well take care and don't forget us. :'-( You probably should change your signature; you cant be "Eurobricks' Resident Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean Attractions, and Disney Theme Parks Expert Extraordinaire" if you arent here. ;-) Are you going to finish your contest before you go to the great Disneyland in the sky?

I tend to see Batman as 75% brains, 25% brawn. Yes I noticed that. Another thing for me to reserve judgement on... :-P

Thanks. Yes I would. It is definitely my favorite Exo-Force set this year. My favourite set this year has to be the Technic Bulldozer, followed by the MTT and the Harbour. Aero Booster is probably next.

    I disagree, but that's life I suppose!
  17. Chewie fires several shots from his bowcaster in Jango's direction and roars with pleasure when he sees an explosion. However, when he appoaches the "remains" he finds only a burning tree. Quickly he turns around and finds Jango there. He fires once and Chewie falls down to meet his forefathers.
  18. Err... that is going to be huge! What does it cost so far?

I realise this set isn't that new anymore, but I really wanted to do a review of it. I really like it and Aero Booster is on my non-break list. The arms and side jets are very poseable. I am not sure if it was the intention, but they are the right height to use as a prop so he doesn't fall over. (The technic liftarm in the middle is not tall enough. It is there more to for swooshing reasons, and also to help you fire the projectile.) The mech and the backpack are held together with a single axel, which works quite well. (It normally sits flush. I have half removed it to show how it connects.) The left weapon is removable and fits into the mechs left hand if you remove the hose and use the yellow axel joiner on the right shoulder. (I don't really like this feature.) Aside from splashing out on a new golden top, Ha-Ya-To is the same as last year. (New guy on left.) This part was a large reason why I wanted this set. It is used on the gun for decoration, but it reality it is a Technic Driving Ring and my only piece like it is buried in an 8421 crane. This piece is priced from 5-15 USD on Bricklink and this is the cheapest set it has ever been found in. Over all, I think this is a great set, and I have found myself running though the house making jet noises. I highly recommend it. (I am not 100% happy with these photos so I might re-do some of them. If anyone wants photos of anything please ask. I wont do the manual though. If you want that I recommend you download it.)
  20. No, sorry. I haven't been to the cinema for years; I love movies but I hate babysitters... Done. *sweet*
  21. The challenge between Hinckley and I may be over (for now), but I want more! Based on my recent (incompetently designed) poll I think it would be possible for a competition to be designed that at least five (but hopefully more) people could enter. If you are interested (or if you have some ideas) please post a few of the sets that you have free (or believe you could make up from spare parts) and that you think would be suitable. (Don't mention sets that you have but would not be prepared to break.) If we have enough interest in enough of the same sets we can start a poll (or a blind draw if people prefer) and try to pick 2-5 sets. I was thinking of trying to have in total about 1000-1500 pieces. I would also be prepared to allow a set number of additional parts. If there is interest but it turns out that we don't have at least five people who can (and will) put together about 1000-1500 pieces from various sets I could try to make a list of pieces instead, possibly even with no fixed colours. EDIT: I will be editing this to reflect what people have. Please note that I don't consider anything in this list as a promise, at this stage I am just trying to find five people with at least 500 pieces in common... 3825 Krusty Krab - Hinckley, imperialshadows 4417 Aero Pod X-Pod - optimus-convoy 4478 Geonosian Fighter - Hinckley 4502 X-Wing Fighter - Hinckley 4884 Wild Hunters - Sinner, Hinckley, imperialshadows 4917 Mini Robots - Shine 4939 Cool Cars - optimus-convoy, Sinner 4954 Model Townhouse - Sinner, Hinckley 5524 Airport - imperialshadows 6205 V-Wing Fighter - Shine, Hinckley 7016 Viking Boat against the Wyvern Dragon - john cleese, Sir Dillon, Hinckley 7018 Viking Ship - Hinckley, Sir Dillon, imperialshadows 7020 Army of Vikings - Hinckley, Sir Dillon, imperialshadows 7021 Vikings vs Ofnir - Hinckley, imperialshadows 7090 Crossbow Attack - Shine, Sir Dillon, Sinner 7091 Knights' Catapult Defense - john cleese 7093 Skeleton Tower - Hinckley 7259 ARC-170 Fighter - Hinckley, Sinner (Mine is currently re-built into an X-Wing but it is an option...) 7657 AT-ST - Hinckley, imperialshadows 7692 MX-71 Recon Dropship - john cleese 7694 MT-31 Trike - john cleese 7701 Grand Titan - imperialshadows 7702 Thunder Fury - imperialshadows 7707 Striking Venom - Hinckley, Sinner 7708 Uplink - optimus-convoy, Sinner, Hinckley, imperialshadows 7709 Sentai Fortress - Hinckley 7017 Viking Catapult vs. Nidhogg Dragon - optimus-convoy, Hinckley 7092 Skeleton Prison Carriage - Sinner 7770 Deep Sea Treasure Hunter - Shine, Sir Dillon, optimus-convoy, imperialshadows 7771 Angler Ambush - john cleese, Sir Dillon 7785 Arkham Asylum - Hinckley, Sir Dillon, imperialshadows 7786 Batcopter - Hinckley, imperialshadows 7991 Garbage Truck - Shine, Hinckley, Sinner (My boy has this and I could borrow it...) 7945 Fire Station - Hinckley 8100 Cyclone Defender - optimus-convoy, Hinckley, Sinner (My boy has this and I could borrow it...) 8101 Claw Crusher - Shine, Sinner, Hinckley, john cleese 8106 Aero Booster - john cleese 8141 Off Road Power - Shine 8877 Vladek's Dark Fortress - Hinckley, imperialshadows I will add more of mine soon... *yoda* has said that he thinks a theme would be a good idea. 22. ...and they are very good too. *wub* I am starting a topic right now to discuss the idea. (I haven't got Super Nova however; it was a TRU exclusive in Australia and there are none close to my home.)
  23. I think that is a great idea... *sweet*
  24. This is excellent news. My kids (and me to a lesser extent) loved the Star Wars games. Thanks for posting this.
  25. My idea with the poll was to help determine what sets to use.
