Perhaps, but perhaps not. It is possible that he can get better Adsense money due to the larger target audience.

Well currently I still love it. I am looking forward to modding it.. and when I get sick of it I can turn it into a large hill! X-D
  3. Ouch. :-D

Well I got it recently and I like it, but it does depend on what you want. I wanted more crims, dogs, policemen, the pre-fab chopper parts, another bike, etc. I even wanted the big chunky base. In short, I wanted it mainly for the parts. However, design wise I still like it, the only thing that I don't like is the chopper platform as I think it is silly and fragile. IMHO I think the new one will not have a big base and probably not be as <insert that tiresome argument>, and when you factor that in with the price it could be big. Look at the design of the new Train Station; I wouldn't be surprised if the new Police station will be as nice looking as that. In short; if you think the design of the new fire and train station are much better than the hospital and current police station I recomend you wait. But don't blame me if it priced that high because it has something silly like sound effects! Maybe you should wait. I can't see it vanishing altogether in a hurry.

Your technic framed one is very similar to mine, and it even attaches to the bogies the same, and has studs in the middle like mine. (Mine are there so the load can be secured easier.) The biggest difference with mine is that it is only four wheels per bogie. Unfortunantly if I post mine now it will look like I was copying two people! I love the ant farm. *wub*

Cool! It took me about the same. I thought it would be a lot harder.

Last year I was browsing Brickshelf and I ran into a picture of 8662... still in its bag. (I can't remember the link.) At first I thought it was a trick, but after thinking about it I, using my superior intellect, decided it was possible. I saw one in a store soon after and decided to give it a go. Has anyone else tried this with different sets?
  10. Excellent work! *wub* Wait.... this is all just an attempt to get people excited prior to you finishing "Book of the Ancients", isn't it? Taking a leaf out of the Apple school of advertising eh? Well it wont work on me! Roll on Summer!

That isn't what bothers me. I am more annoyed when I see an intesting thumbnail, click on it, find that it is 3000x2000, wait patiently, and then find that the photo is too blurry to pick any details anyway. Grrr. >:-( I do agree though that they should ban BMPs and images over 1024x768 for non-paying users. This would substatially reduce costs... and frustration!

Interesting words from someone with a signature saying "Die Rebel Scum, die!". My message is; lighten up it is Lego, not reality. Are you posting similar words of wisdom in the "Kill Jar Jar thread"?

Me too! My total when I stopped this morning was 2.27 GB.
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks at the time of Brickshelf renewal! You are sure to have fun here.

...and to think I spent over almost 2 hours last night downloading, resizing, selecting and uploading images for the Ship index. Darn. I could have been building. Even so, it is good news. Thanks Kevin. *wub* It looks like you do listen after all. :-D
  16. I didn't see the police station, but I bought yesterday at Target the new Train Station and Aero Booster.

What do you mean? *yoda* did a much better one months ago; in fact it was his review that persuaded me, some one who actually didn't even like the MTT when I watched the movie, to buy one!
  18. Well, I officially resign regardless! Yay! :-D
  19. Well that's a tease... but I bet it's more of a tease for you! Review on!
  20. Just finished uploading row 24. 24a were all too big so I resized them 24e was a collection of 9 different ships so I uploaded them all. (9 pictures) Please note that I am downloading the entire folder of the relevant user so if you want more pictures later feel free to bother me. Row 25 is almost downloaded and I will try to upload it within 2 days. (Tomorrow evening will be busy for me.)

I bought Aero Booster (8106) and the new Train Station (7997).
  22. Sorry, I misinterpretted you. I thought you were refering to the truck more, not the trailer. I agree that the bridge makes a horrid trailer; I broke mine very fast and made a flatbed for it. (Which I have since broken.) I also added a sleeper cab to it. You can see it in this photo to the right.

[Whinge] We have over a thousand members, and surely at least 100 are active, yet PaulC wins with 24 votes?! *wacko* :'-) [/whinge]
  24. I like the first one (although I have seen it too much now), love the second one and am undecided about Batman Begins. I didn't like how he insisted on wasting time with the backstory, and I especially didn't like the certain over repeated lines like "Mr Wayne, why do we fall down" and "You should learn to mind your surroundings." I think that is the truth. The old Batman TV show had its good points (not many if you ask me), but it isn't really Batman. I agree 100%. I think the best Batman movie is Mask of the Phantasm. Incidentally, I love your new avatar copmike. Fabuland has a certain charm...
  25. Err... sorry. :-$ I tended to agree so I couldn't add any more to what you said. Perhaps others felt the same?
