Review: 7786 Batman - Batcopter: The Chase for the Scarecrow
That was a great review with loads of excellent pictures. The set is better than I thought. I want to buy one of the new sets as I would love a blue Batman, but they are so expensive for Australians. I love the new pumpkin heads. The story involved more mini-fig cruelty; excellent! I also liked the scarecrow/crow joke. :-D (One request; please don't say lines like "To the Batcopter" next time. That is the old TV series and I hated that. >:-) Feel free to tell me to stick my request up my M#g@Bl*cks.)

Anyone know what accounts are "owned" by dead people? These accounts should be backed up ASAP. I am saving all that I can, but two weeks isn't long enough.

MOCpages to offer (free) image hosting
Perhaps someone should start a poll to help us determine what to pick. Currently I am using Flickr, but I would be happy to change if it was clear I was in the minority. I would prefer to use the most common one, but if MOCpages is already threatening to stop external links then maybe it isn't the best choice.

Jurassic Park Contest
I've given up. If I enter this I will be using my Dino Attack T-Rex. Seems the less stressful option to me.

Cool! I never thought to use the Wayback machine on Lego.com....

Jurassic Park Contest
Well, assuming Hobbes is right, that is pretty M$g!Bl@cky rude. I understand very well what Technic is since I have been using it before it was even called Technic. You are the one who seems to be confusing Bionicle and Technic, which are two very different things. Bionicle started out being a Technic offshoot, but today, regardless of ancestry, is little to do with it at all, and is no more Technic than Exo-Force is. Especially since most of the sets from the last two years have zero gears. I hope you understand my confusion now. Please be more clear. Do you wish to ban Bionicle dinosaurs and nothing else? Do be aware that many of the bionicle parts (not to mention Technic parts) are now included in Exo-Force and Vikings sets...

what old sets do you want remade
The main one that I want is the RGS. I am considering giving up soon and making one from spare parts! In addition; Sith Infiltrator - Yes, I know there is a new one, but I still don't like it! T-16 Skyhopper - I want to shoot wamp rats! Cloud Pod Car - I actually didn't mind the last design so I would be happy with a re-release.

Dumbledore Escapes!
Hey thats cool, and I don't even like Harry Potter. Love the light too; is this done with the Exo-Force bricks or something else?

Operation: Mephisto Posse
That is incredible. (Even ignoring the fact that I don't think I have ever seen so much brown at once. Most of my brown in in my MTT...) I like the tracks-in-the-mud effect. I almost didn't click as I don't like using Flickr much. You really should add at least one pic...

List of 2008 sets (January)
I am with you there. I also want gears... EDIT: I forgot to mention, eventually I did find a use for my spare race buggy motor; I built a pneumatic pump around it and it actually works quite well.

So, are they going to send one? (I won't cry too much if the prize is lost...)

Swamp Monster of Dal Tescus
Actually, I like it. I own the Galidor girl and I have fun swapping parts with Exo-Force mechs and the Dino Attack dinosaurs. I look forward to this upcoming story...

Problems with BS / Is BrickShelf no more ???
I was simply refering to how Brickshelf was back for backup purposes. Kevin has the right to close down his site all he wants, but to not give people time to download stuff was plain mean. I have no idea if EB user Kevin is "Kevin". Is he?

Hey, don't blame me. I did say... What did you get? "WalrusShelf.com" has a certain ring to it...

Problems with BS / Is BrickShelf no more ???
I think more bouncing. I am intending to write my own Peer-to-Peer program and this could be a good application, but I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea. This isn't going to happen tomorrow, and probably not even this year, so it certianly isn't the solution to the current problem. Darn. I forgot that. :'-( I just had a quick browse and noticed that most reviews are missing pictures now. Silly me assumed that admins had a lot of local server space and stored them here...

List of 2008 sets (January)
- Police vehicle entries
I can't see it being a problem. There are at least two entries missing at the moment due to Brickshelfgate. Personally I think the deadline should change back to what it was, all things considered. - Police vehicle entries
