Neat Info about Brickmaster!
But that is exactly what I am talking about. The US seem to refuse to sell plain chocolate in decent sized portions. M&Ms for example are more candy than chocolate. Even Nestle, which sell OK chocolate in Australia, don't seem to in the US. I think it is simply a case that Americans don't want plain chocolate, while in Australia it is common for 250 gram blocks to be sold. I could never find anything like that when I was there. But it could simply be a case of being in the wrong location.

Neat Info about Brickmaster!
Not my favorite option, but I have seriously considered it. The US of A however doesn't know how to make good chocolate. I was in San Diego for three months (RADAR course for the Australian Navy) and I was hanging out for decent chocolate the entire time. I would need to find a cheap way to import it from elsewhere first; not much point moving to save money on Lego if I then spend more money on chocolate!

Neat Info about Brickmaster!
I am curious how much of the sales that Lego make are in the US. From the way they act it must be 75%. Anyone know?

Howdy!
Yes, I bought that a few months ago. Aside from instantly modifying so it didn't have the rubber-band weapon in the engine I have quite liked it. Much better than the last one. Even so, it is on my break list now, right after I finish sorting out my parts. Oddly, as a "the new movies aren't as good as the old" type of guy, it surprises how much I wan the MTT. I don't even like the thing, but somehow the Lego one is appealing. I am sick. Yes, this year has been quite good. I considered buying the Service Station last week, but there are some sales due my way in a few weeks so I bought the Cement Mixer instead. Enjoy your stay on Eurobricks! I have yet to find someone who like them. I am no exception!

Lego Universe Trailer!
Not sure what I think of it yet. I liked the concept pictures, I like Lego Star Wars (that is the games), but I have never been a big fan of open-ended games; I just wonder what is the point? It seems odd to me to spend time improving a virtual life when your real one is going down the toilet... Hopefully more will become clear when the game is ready.

Howdy!
Welcome! I was a long time lurker as well. Eventually my desire to vote in some of the polls persuaded me to join, then I made a comment, and then I gave up lurking and introduced myself. Have you just been buying Star Wars Lego lately? (Unfortuantly for me, I tend to like, and buy, all.)

found, ulimate lego copys
Wow! They sound like something that would go with my genuine KNEX bricks. Are they compatible?

Sinister Stable
Cool! I love how you added the cute horse and shoe sticker. (Digitally I assume since it isn't in the latter pictures.)

The funniest part is the price; you can buy the real sets for those prices, and that doesn't even include the postage. Anyone who buys them is an idiot. (No, I have never heard of this brand before. The name is a laugh as well.)

2005 Bionicle MOC
I like it, especially the shoulders.

Exo Army
I agree. I think the shipping should be free (or at least close) as they are taking what would be normally store profit. The USA often has free shipping, but I have only seen it for Australians with the Millenium Falcon. Surely they can have a "Shipping free with all sales over $200" deal? I understand that they don't want to annoy retail stores, but they go too far. I try to wait until there is a sale on something that I wanted to compensate for the shipping, otherwise it is hard to justify. I would rather spend the shipping costs on actual Lego!

Guten tag
Feel free to beat me up (preferably with a large Lego set) for posting off topic, but that is great mono-rail. I would go and buy one instantly if it wasn't for the silly prices... http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?invXre...69690&invType=F http://www.bricklink.com/catalogPriceGuide.asp?S=6399-1 ...of monorails. I will be sure to!

Star Wars 2008 sets (no pics)
Wow! That would be some battle pack. How am I supposed to buy this AND the MTT as well as all the other sets in different themes that I want? Well Lego?

Brickshelf FIND: Really Impressive Dragon
That is my favourite Lego dragon now. I was hoping that he had a picture there good enough for a wallpaper but I can't say that I like any of the angles. It sure makes me want to get back to my half-finished dragon.

I found something awesome!
Thats pretty good. Perhaps I should make one to hold off the hunger pangs until they appear in a store here. Probably wouldn't be as fun to swoosh though.

We need SHAKO's
Out of curiosity I just checked Bricklink; 31 in stock. Looks like I would be interested as well. The pictures you provided seem to have a larger visor than the official version.

Ideas For new sets(Wild West)
I second that motion. I love steam-punk.

Lego Missionary starts on a holy crusade
I wish I did the same. Interestingly I grew disillusioned with Lego when they started printing different heads and giving the pirates guns. For some reason it really bothered me at the time. Luckily I am over it now! I wish you luck in your holy cause. I have tried to convert my wife but have failed. But it doesn't matter; I have kids. My daughter spends hours on the Lego site playing games, not realising that she is slowly being brain-washed. Ha! Triumph will be mine!

Module III
I like it. Currently I am sorting my pieces and I have a lot of grey. I think I have found something to do with it all! (I probably don't have enough free windows though.) Do you have any plans to compensate for the side walk (or footpath depending on country) height difference?

Indeed. I almost feel voyeuristic reading this...

Custom Lego Swords
Thanks very much for posting this. Your right; I don't like how you have done this, but I was curious at what results you can get. My "favourite" is the bottom one. It looks almost like a Roman short sword now. I also have too many of those swords and I am very glad that Lego have brought in new ones as well as bringing back the old ones.

Sentry Turret
I haven't seen that site before. He is pretty good, even though he is too much of a modder for my taste...

Indy Lego !!
Indeed. I don't look forward to the Australian prices. Often the price is USDx2. (The Millenium Falcon is like that; $950 AUD!) I sell stuff over the internet, often to Americans, and I wish I knew where Lego got their exchange rates from because it hasn't been like that since 2000! Any advice on how to do that? I tend to think Raiders of the Lost Ark due to the classic rolling stone ball scene, but I could be biased as I watched Raiders last night! (I am watching Temple of Doom tonight.)
