  1. Vans Twin Pod Cloud Car. http://www.mystery10.com/project/twin-pod-cloud-vans/
  2. Oh man, 435 2x4 LBG tiles. That's an easy $80 right there!
  3. My heart says yes but my wallet says hell no. This is going to be a challenge. Incredible work, as always.
  4. Yeah, I had the cladding in the correct position while building, but once it was finished and I tried to bend the legs, they started popping off. Seemed to be a stud too long somewhere. I had to move some up a stud and some down a stud to be able to bend the legs without them coming off. Again, probably an error on my part during the building, but I can't for the life of me figure out where I could have gone wrong. Nonetheless, it looks great on display!
  5. Well, thank you, but something still doesn't seem right to me in there from 61 to 66. Could very well be user error on my part. Anyway, I got it sorted out and finished this glorious model. Thank you again for the beautiful instructions and to Raskolnikov for the awesome design!
  6. I really appreciate the beautiful instructions and all the time that went into designing this model. Currently building it right now, but there seems to be an error in the instructions. I was following the instructions perfectly, I heeded the warning on page 61 and continued to build. However, on page 66 the 2 submodels have flipped completely. I must have scratched my head for a half an hour trying to figure out where I went wrong, but the problem seems to be in the instructions. I had to do a good bit of backpedaling to get it to match the instructions going forward. Again, this is a fantastic design, but maybe the instructions could be amended so others don't run into the same problem. All that being said, am I crazy? Can the designer of the model or the instructions have a look and confirm? Thanks.
  7. This thing is incredible. I built LL's version and I love it (despite it's fragility), but yours just takes it to another level. Bravo!
  8. So after moving and taking apart my Bricklinked 10179, I decided to rebuild it while trying to smooth out the look of it on the top. All of the extra pieces added a few more pounds and around 1200 or so pieces to it's already hefty frame. Really happy with the way it turned out! http://imgur.com/a/IQxp7
  9. I'm going to say the Twin Pod Cloud Car because I don't consider 7119 to exist because it's so terrible. It was ok for it's time, but needs a serious reboot.
  10. Nice! I will eventually bricklink all of the older Star Wars UCS sets, too. I've already done the Falcon, Y-Wing, X-Wing, AT-ST, and Death Star Playset. And I'm currently about 90% complete on the B-Wing, Imperial Shuttle and Super Star Destroyer.
  11. This project has blown up this weekend! Congrats on an amazing build and I need this in my life. What's the actual piece count?
  12. Thanks! I should mention that I started with probably 75% of the parts from my own collection to begin the project. So your cost may vary. But I will say that if there was a rare or expensive part that was called for, it was creatively subbed out with another solution, such as those white quarter domes on the front. And the 2 wheels on the back of the ship were just a couple bucks each: https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=15038#T=S&C=86&O={"color":"86","rpp":"500"}.
  13. Thanks, I changed almost all of the greebling all over the ship just to give it more detail. Basic structure stayed the same, though.
  14. Thanks! Here it is about 99.9% complete. http://i.imgur.com/MGa9j97.jpg I saved so much money doing it in a grey color scheme. Those 122 white 2L ribbed hoses that go for $1 each got subbed for flat silver ones that cost 2 cents each. Between my part collection and bricklink I don't think I spent more than $30 on it.
  15. Do you realize that assembling sets from scratch is more satisfying to some people than just plunking down some cash and getting a new set?
