  1. Hello today I'm on to a bigger set, the giant man set! I forgot the box as I built this last year without taking any pictures.. Lets start with the instruction booklet. Its a thick one plus a comic book (to lure you to buying other sets). I don't really like this kind of thick booklet, quite hard to make it stay without damaging the side. This set is mainly focused on the minifigures. The build, not so. Small quinjet, small airport building. So lets start with the characters. Firstly, ironman and war machine. Rhodes! The front. I like their torso print. Colourful on Tony's suit and cool black on Rhodey's. You can compare with the old Mark 7 (I think). Standard Tony's face and Rhodey's smiling face. Alternate faces and back prints. All geared up. The beam does looks like a light saber without the hilt. War machine is taller due to the back attachments. The back of the war machine doesn't look that cool. Lets go to the girls. Scarlet witch and Agent 13. And I thought she was the black widow.. Alternate faces and back. Wanda's skirt looks kind of cool. And now the brothers. Cap does have a more detailed print. Suit up. Comparison of new and old cap. Lastly the antman. Giant and tiny tic tac. And LEGO gave you 2 of them! Under his mask. Someone please give him some orange slices. His hand can hold on minifigures. Now lets play with them Get off me! Alright, lets go to the build. These are stickers, but they are quite detailed if you asked me. What? Hammer tech? The airport transport. The rear side of the tower. The tiny tic tac can enter the mouse hole. But quite hard to pull him out after that. My favourite part, no entry! And lastly, the Quinjet. Bucky can fit in quite well but he has to lean backward. Spiderman: Hey! Thats my stunt! And lastly, a group photo. The epic fight. The saddest moment. The shield was made by my father. Give it back. Pros: The minifigures are nice. You get 6 minifigures, one nanofigure and a giant man. Cons: The tower too small, Quinjet too. And LEGO should have printed on giant man's suits instead of stickers. Thanks for viewing,
  2. Hi, today is an old set, the lego movie. I wonder does anyone still remember? See, Emmet's car looks lonely now. And the couch. The minifigures. The printing in Benny's suit is so realistic that its faded since 1980s! The back faces Oh ya, Vitruvius glows in the dark The center smiling ghost is from old sets, I guess the glowing power fades through the ages? And the end of this set. Small set but worth for money as you get 5 characters. Thats something. Thanks for viewing!
  3. kaelthas posted a post in a topic in LEGO Town
Hi this is my own creation of a dental chair. It was off minifigure scale. Noticed that after I put my minifigures there..
  4. Thanks for the info. I've already applied awaiting confirmation.

  7. My shot of The Queen Anne's revenge. And the civil war
  8. Thanks for the kind words~! my wallet too.. yeah i agree that this set only gives 2 minifigures made me hesitate a bit before buying but the design of the car is just too nice. Check out my other reviews.
  9. Hello, today I'll be reviewing the Penguin's mobile. Overview Name: 70911 The Penguin™ Arctic Roller Theme: The LEGO Batman Movie Year: 2017 Pieces: 305 Minifigs: 2 Price: RM 179.90/ $29.99/ MYR179.90 Introduction The LEGO Batman movie was a theme that I don't quite venture into as I prefer buildings instead of vehicles. One day when I walked pass this set on the shelf, the antique looking car caught my eye and I just got it without any hesitation. White and pearl gold combination of colors is so striking and you will notice how much i liked the curvy parts in my review below. The front box art. It was eye catching as i don't really like LEGO cars. Fell in love in the first sight! Oh that's a Voodoo Jack. Its included in the pictures only as reference and its not included in the set. And yes, the boat doesn't float. I like the 1:1 picture. But as a LEGO fan, you already know how big a minifigure should be. Alright, lets open the box. You get 2 numbered bags and 2 booklets. Each booklet completes each bags. Oh, Stickers. Anyhow you still get a printed parts for this set. It looks like some kind of turbine. Special parts for bag 1. I like those sexy curves. Lets get started. Batman is kinda pushy. The first step. Going on. The wheel here is not attached to any compartments. End of bag 1. The curves! I really liked the balloon part. Ok. Lets Start with bag 2 special parts. (only applied to me as i feel they are special.) The shape of the car is showing.. Can't wait to finish it! Ok lets look at this build, what do you think it looks like? And after around one hour build, tada... Wait for it.. The front view. And tadaaaaa... Multiple views! The standard Car commercial shot. Right side of the car, you can notice the penguin head at the front of the car. Horizontally. I bet the fish is marinated before The Penguin use it as a side cannon.. Left side. The pearl gold is nice. Higher shot. Now you can see the sticker and the printed turbine. Rear shot. Isnt it gorgeous? And EXTRA parts. A bonus to Unicorn girl for the extra horn. The Minifigures. First The Batman. The back printings. Nice back muscles. Second The Penguin. I like his umbrella, and the BELLY! He has no back printing, no double face. But the wristband print was exclusive i think.. To me, I really like both of them as they are so much detail on the torso with batman's six packs and the penguins belly covered with his coat. And plus you get an extra yellow belt! Now the armored batman is smiling with his new belt. Err, tht grin is kinda smiling for him, haha. You can see the cape's texture is different from the armored batman cape. I like the new cape as the old paper-like cape was quite easily damaged. DC Universe minifigures that I have for now. Run Penguin Run! This is the Penguin's seat. Is he always that grumpy? Only he can fit with his short legs. Cant even bring his umbrella. Summary review Playability: 8/10 (Nothing to play with actually other than the quite powerful spring shooting at the front of the car.) Design: 10/10 (Outstanding design, with great use of curve bricks. I like the structure of it very much, the car is very nice for display.) Price: 8/10 (Its always expensive when it comes to Malaysia.) Overall: 8/10 (LEGO should more minifigures in this set!)
  10. Hi lets review the set of 60134 This is the front of the box, a set with 157 pcs. The back of the box. An opened box. So many minifigures in one box! As below of this is the first bag. You got the father with the baby stroller (very nice build with a new piece), the mother holding the bottle, a kid with her dog, and the lady with her lawn mower. Second bag You get a painter girl, a boy with Benny's shirt, a little girl and Grandpa and grandma. Third bag. Now this is the interesting part. HOTDOG stand! With a bread! Finally LEGO had decided to put a bread to it. Red Bicycle. Merry go round. A bus stop. And the very first LEGO wheel chair. The 14 minifigures and the baby! And they are interchangeable. I'm a little bit OCD, so.. The main characters of this set. Mummy's meeting. The cook! Hotdogs! and the senior citizens. Thank you for reading this quick review. Enjoy the photos and Happy New Year 2017. I'm from Malaysia, below this is the link to LOM (LUG of Malaysia). Enjoy! https://www.facebook.com/groups/legomalaysia/959690317496162/?notif_t=like&notif_id=1484716020940468
  11. Thanks for the reply! Glad to have some advice to my post. I will keep up and make more. Stay tuned! Added a new photo in it. The catchy tentacles. Thanks again!
  12. Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum. I bought it after I watched the movie. Still I don't get to know who was supposed to be the tentacles. Dormamu maybe? Its a portal beast according to LEGO. (How many universe are there in this multiverse?) Overview Name: 76060 - Doctor Strange's Sanctum SanctorumTheme: LEGO Marvel Super HeroesYear: 2016 Pieces: 358 piecesMinifigures: 3Price: USD 29.99 / MYR 129.90 Introduction After watching the movie, I feel like getting Benedict Cumberbatch into my LEGO room. Hence this set. The only set that features the great new Sorcerer Supreme(Top Bargainer.) to protect the Earth. 3 main characters are here, all in a medium sized set. I would want Kaecillius and maybe Wong or Christine dressed as an ER surgeon to spice up the set. As you can see in the front box art, its kind of combining most of the scene in the movie into this set. For instance the library with books, the table that Wong listened to Beyonce, the Sanctum, the portal, and the levitation Cloak hanger might indicate that this is the London Sanctum which Dr Strange got his relic. Lets get started. The front box art. Pretty straight forward display set. The back. Showing the play features. The usual 1:1 box art featuring Dr Strange. The Instruction Booklets. There are 2 booklets which you can see in most of the sets, and there is a Benedict Cumberbatch photo at the top right corner of both books. This is the first page of book 1, showing what bag 1 gives you after building. I actually prefer this kind of booklet as you can turn the previous pages to the back without hurting the binding part of the book. At the end you can see the play features of the set and the parts list. The Minifigures. For these I like the printed inscription(Sanskrit maybe?) on Dr. Strange and The ancient one's accessories. Plus they are trans pieces! The back printings and the alternate faces except for her. The printings are so detailed. I can see the Eye of Agamotto. As you can see the piece that Dr Strange holding was quite new trans pieces and you got 3 of them in the set. Spiderman uses this too but those were white. The Build The build consist of three parts, the furnitures, the wall, and the portal beast rotating mechanism. Lets have a look. There are 2 cupboards and a table for the furnitures of the room. Table was simple, but the cupboards books are built by stacking colourful tiles and plates vertically which looks like they are standing in the rack. (The skull was replaced by Sauron's eye by me.) Part 2 of the build was the sanctum windows with the wall, and the maps plus books scattered on the floor. The levitating stick was held by a clip attached to the wall. However you need to have something or 'someone' equal weight at the other side of the wall to balance the levitator. The window was a perfect circle formed by arch and inverted arches which was very nice. The ninjago blades was so accurately placed behind the window to look the same with the one in the movie. This part is where the box placed. I've moved it one stud in front to allow the lid to be opened showing 2 gold keys and a red diamond. The handle above was meant for the levitation robe to be hung on. Otherwise was basic bricks for tan colored wall. Then the portal beast build. The tentacles was built using the tails of the old castle dragons. The beast rushed through the perfect circle with 4 printed eyes and some white horns/teeth. The wall consist of technic bricks and dark red bricks. Open the tentacles will reveal the platform with the sanskrit sticker representing its 'aura'. A clearer view to the eyes and teeth. The back of the beast was the mechanism. It consist of 4 small wheels and a larger centre gear to rotate the tentacles attached to the technic wall bricks. They were quite simple to build with the instructions given. The front view. I replaced the skull to the eye of Sauron, kinda match.. This is when the portal beast's tentacles are closed, you will see how it looks like when it is holding a minifigures as you continue reading. The messy rear view. The mechanism are turned by the connecting gears, creating very smooth open and close gesture of the tentacles which I find very impressive. The use of the blade to create the look of the Sanctum's logo was fantastic. They looked like they are 'flying' or levitating. Now the portal beast looks hungry. And the robe wiggling. The stickers are at the left side, right sides are printed pieces including the eye. The bottom piece are for Dr. Strange to hold the discs. Batman: A little help pls. A MOC of the room when he got his 'mantra'. Summary review Playability: 8/10 (This is kind of a display set.) Design: 9/10 (The design of the Sanctum's logo and the portal beast was very impressive.) Price: 8/10 (Quite worthy set as you own it, you complete the series as this is the ONLY Strange set.) Overall: 8/10 (Can't stress enough that we want more minifigures!)
