LEGO Star Wars 2011 Pictures & Rumors
Cool looking book, it'll help me promote reading to my 6yo son. He reads really good but hates doing it. I hope more books like this are soon to follow.

What's your favorite LEGO license theme so far?
Wow, you just made me feel old. For me, it's Batman. I was really into comic books as a child/teen and even though I wasn't into too many DC comics, I did like Batman, liked the movies despite the things that made them both good and bad, and I liked the cartoons. I wish I was collecting LEGO with my kids when LEGO Batman was still in stores.

LEGO Star Wars 2011 Pictures & Rumors
I feel LEGO has done a great job with the new minifigs in their SW sets. There's a line of Collectible Minifigures that are selling like crazy and I feel this focus on minifigs is trickling down to the new sets. I applaud them for their efforts. I think the problem with the new Ki-Adi Mundi minifig is the seam for the elongated head. A single mold for the head (as seen in the preliminary pictures), just looks better. Also, the top piece in the photo looks to be a shade off from the head mold. If the colors are off, it looks like he's wearing some sort of head piece.

Harry Potter 2011 Discussion
Glad I'm not the only one. I need to get Diagon Alley then I'll be caught up until later this year.

LEGO Star Wars 2011 Pictures & Rumors
What a shame, if the only distinction is the ARC gear then I'm completely disappointed. I was really looking forward to a new Clone Commander and Clone Trooper. The only thing that could have made this set better is if Commander Wolffe had a distinct head.

I cannot keep silent anymore!
I would really love for Batman to make a comeback with LEGO. The Tumbler made an appearance in LEGO form even though it was introduced in Batman Returns. Making LEGO sets based on Christopher Nolan's Batman movies has endless possibilities.

Harry Potter 2011 Discussion
I really hope a lot more sets are released in the future. The only good thing about only getting 3 new sets later this year is it'll be easier on my wallet. It really looks like I'm going to be spending a lot on some of the other themes.

Harry Potter 2011 Discussion
Sorry if there's an answer to my question somewhere on this thread. My family bought every Harry Potter set last year. The only thing we're missing is Diagon Alley. I've read here that Harry Potter has sold really well. With that being said, why is Lego not capitalizing on this popularity and releasing more sets?

LEGO Star Wars 2011 Pictures & Rumors
Since you mentioned the new Darth Maul minifig, I really don't like his new face. He looks like he got punched in the nose and the rest of his face got sucked in.

LEGO Star Wars 2011 Pictures & Rumors
I'm really liking all of the new sets except the Sith Nightspeeder and Sith Infiltrator. The Sith Nightspeeder seem a little too wide for my taste and there's something about the Sith Infiltrator that's unappealing to me, I just can't pinpoint it at the moment. The two sets I'm most looking forward to are the Podracers and the Geonosian Starfighter. Both sets look really well designed and I missed out on the earlier releases of both.

Star Wars: OT vs. PT vs. TCW
I enjoy the story that the PT tells, the acting and dialogue leaves a lot to be desired.

Harry Potter 2011 Discussion
I never really realized how well the Harry Potter sets sold. I knew they sold fairly well in my area. Where my sister lives, there was an abundance that remained on the shelves. Had my local stores ordered more stock (maybe there was no stock to order), the sales would have been even greater. Btw, FBTB covers more than just LEGO SW, they cover all Lego themes.

Star Wars: OT vs. PT vs. TCW
The PT began at a period of time where Anakin was a small child and ended with Anakin as Darth Vader. The OT takes place in a considerably shorter amount of time. I grew up with the OT and saw them on the big screen as a child. I love everything about Star Wars, the good and the bad. I feel that there was a lot of content trying to be told in the PT and due to the restraints of 3 films, the story was never properly told. There's also a really large gap between the PT and OT.

Looking for clones
So are you looking for non-CW clones?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
Good point. Maybe the son was unaware of where his power came from until his Father stated:

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
Very good insight Brickadeer. I was thinking along the same lines. The son drew power from his Father and the Father sacrificed himself to stop his son. The son never killed his Father before because without him, he had no power. As his father died he was still selfish and devastated because as his Father's life faded, so did his power. That's why he told his Father "Please, don't die". I don't believe Anakin had to kill the son as with the Father dead, the son was no longer a threat. Anakin freely takes life without hesitation and that makes him susceptible to falling to the dark side.

Harry Potter 2011 Discussion
I hope there are a lot more Harry Potter sets in the future as this is the only Lego theme my daughter is into. The 2010 sets seemed to sell really well everywhere in the area where I live and the stores are finally starting to restock their shelves.

Very good job with your Moc. Seeing all the awesome creations on Eurobricks has been exciting. Your Moc is my 8yr-old daughter's favorite. Thanks for sharing your work and we look forward to seeing some more pictures in the future.

Amazon had it at a considerably better price during the Holidays but who knows if we'll see the same prices any time soon.

9 volt track!
Never received an item from an international seller once. Luckily my claim went through and eBay refunded my money. Because of this, I refuse to buy from any sellers outside of the CONUS.

Nice work on the Republic Attack Shuttle. It turned out pretty awesome. My son suggested I buy one when he saw me looking at the pictures.

Review: 8129 AT-AT Walker
Great Review. I have yet to open either as I just acquired both in the past 2 months. Still have to decide which one is going to get built first.
