LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
For Baylan's hairpiece: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=98385&colorID=86&in=A I'm not a big fan of the show but I quite like all the sets so I think I'll get them when they're substantially discounted. I plan to upgrade Ahsoka with a couple of the spare curved hilts that I have, and I'll give Baylan this hairpiece along with the shoulder pads and the cape. Of course, Shin and Baylan will get trans-neon orange lightsabers (it is such a large oversight, I know this color is discontinued but they could've at least used trans-orange for them).

Thanks. Where in the Wal-Mart would they be located? Because I don’t think they’re at the Lego or toy aisles. Or the ones I visited don’t have them.

I am currently in the US, does anyone know in what stores I can find the Batman 1992 polybag?

[MOC] – Colin Cantwell's Concept X-wing model
The new rounded Speed Champions windscreens (either 6-wide or the 4-wide one, the latter of which would require a change in scale) would work better on this model, but overall it looks great.

LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
It has been officially revealed and I just cannot understand how a designer fumbles with interior design this much when there's so much space available. Why is there not even a hint of something that's in the actual interior of the ship, such as the couch? It's the 2016 Rebel Combat Frigate all over again: there's so much space but there's nothing recognisable.

LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
The Ghost does not appear to have increased in size at all compared to the 2014 version, so the higher piece count mostly comes from the addition of the Phantom and some more exterior details. Overall I wouldn't say it's a complete improvement; it does some things better than the previous version and some things are worse. The underside is not as cleaned-up as the previous one as there is a lot of exposed Technic and the landing gear looks a bit awkward. It is a shame that the upper turret is so bulky yet cannot even rotate like before. The blatant use of inaccurate blue light for the exhausts is strange as they got it right before. However, the use of interior space seems to be much better, but not exactly accurate to what should be there on the inside. The exterior details along the top are quite nice (they even got the panels behind the cockpit angled inwards) except for the ugly top turret. Minifigures are nice for what they are I guess, I don't think I'll care about them though thanks to the current state of SW and the complete lack of excitement I now have for the Ahsoka show. Speaking of Ahsoka, it's strange that now suddenly they gave her a new mould for her headtails; it's not that necessary to make them shorter anymore as in the show they have elongated the headtails when compared to her appearance in Mandalorian. There also seems to be an overengineered feature to rotate the front turret. It is also strange how the cannons are still black like on the 2014 version and not grey, though maybe they have a different color in live-action.

I would spend some money on a Batmobile or another vehicle from those movies with Mr Freeze and such.

Strange though, the other Flash merch is in full swing. Ezra Miller is not The Flash, so I don't see why they'd remove his figure. I can kinda see Lego not wanting a realistic version of him on the box though, even though again, he is not the character he's playing. But they could've used generic box art or a drawn Lego figure.

The ears on the type 2 cowl are indeed too long, but I think Lego used that cowl on the armored suit because the thick chin strap section looks more like the movie helmet, especially in silver. It would've been nice to get a dedicated mould for it though, as it really needed the short ears and a bit more angular shaping.

The part of it that’s visible looks good except for the pain 1x1 wheel inserts and the same squared-off canopy that the GWP used.

An Ultimate Collector’s Edition will be released a few months later that’ll be 30 minutes longer.

DC Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Agreed, though I’ve been wanting to make purist customs of his Alfred and Batflecks Bruce Wayne and I think there are figure parts that may be suitable. From what I know, DC and Marvel both fall under the super heroes theme and the number of sets is shared between them. Lego chooses to make more Marvel sets because they sell better. I wish they’d just increase the total number of sets so DC could get some more, but then they’d probably make those Marvel too.

The build dfor the BP cannon looks pretty good. Shame there is no control panel though. It's also a shame that 3 odf the 4 troopers reuse the standard 501st legs.

DC Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
1. Batfleck: He's the most comic accurate-looking as both Batman and Bruce Wayne. He's an intimidating brute with the best fight scenes as Batman and plays the rich megablock persona of Bruce Wayne well, while also playing the focussed and driven Batman well when he's not in the suit. The writing is not the best in BvS but I've come to accept more of it, at least the killing is part of his story in a meaningful way, though it could've been executed better. 2. Baleman: Objectively the best Batman I'd say, largely because he has the best story, complete with beginning, middle and end. He really embodies the character so you understand where he comes from and it was nice at the time to see how such a vigilante would operate in the real world. He's being let down by the voice (especially in TDK and TDKR) and the non-intimidating second suit (TDK and TDKR) and disappointing fight scenes. 3. Battinson: Not a fan of the cowl but the rest of the suit looks nice. Batmobile is pretty cool for a first iteration. Battinson plays Batman well though the Bruce Wayne persona is completely missing (at least for now) and he's not buff enough. I'm getting a little tired of the hyper-realism though. 4. Keatonman: A fine Batman and Bruce Wayne. The suit and Batmobile are iconic and it was nice to see the Batman franchise embrace the darker and more gothic elements (though Batman Returns is a mess/disaster). 5. Westman: It was a fine Batman for the time I guess. It's hard to compare to the rest because of the campiness but that was kinda the intent. 6. Kilman: Maybe he's a bit underrated as I found his performance as both Bruce Wayne and Batman quite alright when I last did a complete Batman live-action rewatch, though there's nothing exceptional that would put him higher up the list. 7. Clowney: Yeah he's pretty much on the bottom. Instead of rich Bruce Wayne he just comes across as rich George Clooney, even when he's Batman. There's no change in mannerisms and he's not intimidating (though the script and bat nipples certainly didn't help).

Think the torso looks fine, the abs are not as defined as on the padded suit (but then the Flash is hardly a bodybuilder or gym enjoyer so no problem). There is a subtle texture in the print which matches the real suit so overall I think it’s a nice piece that’s not too overdetailed.

DC Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Though Black Adam was alright, nothing too special. However, they could've easily made a nice small 3-set wave to tie in with the movie: Kahndaq Throne (small throne build with some action features. Minifigures: Black Adam, Sabbac) Fly Bike Chase (fly bike build and Giant-Man style Atom Smasher buildable figure. Minifigures: Cyclone, 2x Intergang thug) Hawk Cruiser (large plane build with detachable cockpit and larger interior in the back. Minifigures: Black Adam (hood and cape), Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Atom Smasher, Sabbac)

Or he'll just be a dude with a clay mask... They need to get back to the more fantasy-inspired stuff, this hyper-realistic Batman trend has run its course.

It has to be a three-pack. Then we'd have not just the men, but the women and the children too!

Why can’t they produce more pieces in flat silver? It has no coating so is durable. And constraction used to be full of it.

This is used for the long DC-something clone blaster. I’d say for a sniper they’d use a long blaster with lightsaber handle.

Wouldn’t a modified minifigure like TMNT’s Dogpound work better as a style for a King Shark minifigure?

When I heard that there was going to be a Morbius set, I morbed all over my screen. The set has been produced, it has bricks in it, and a Morbius figure. This is definitely the Lego set of all time.

DC Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
At this point there is a bigger chance of Morbius getting a minifigure than there is for a new DC set coming out. Edit: this was a joke, I did not realise there was an actual Morbius figure coming.
