  1. Saw a news bit, on screen rant, about a SW themed LEGO Set due out in October - 7,451 pcs eclipsing the previous largest LEGO set, the Taj Mahal that itself had 5922 pcs (great regret that I only bought one of that Taj set in 2010). No details on what this set would be about. Speculation abounds
  2. Thank you. I was hoping they were unique and I guess those 5 digit numbers will help greatly.
  3. Ordered mine May 22. Expected to have it May 25. Reading here, I feel I really missed out on the Grand Carousel (10196). BTW, do LEGO set numbers ever repeat themselves?
  4. Cool. Are these sensors from the Mindstorms EV3 series?
  5. I'd do cartwheels (that too is wishful thinking) and buy 2 in a heartbeat.
  6. My five year old daughter is just using the Tram converted as monorail (Thank you, Nacho for that Mod idea) to transport the Disney Princesses and Friends around. She does get offended if I refer to the Tram/Monorail as train, though.
  7. Now, that's a real friend. That set lists for close to $300 on ebay. My wife has conniptions over my LEGO compulsion, especially when they get delivered at home. I get the "not again" look when I get home.
  8. Why "poisonous purchases"?
  9. 2nd one? Now, you got me down with envy .
  10. Spectacular MOC
  11. I usually try not to make public my succumbing to temptations, but this time I will make an exception
  12. And that's a bigger challenge than some of the larger LEGO set build effort.
  13. I think, I'll try. I am learning to pick up pieces here and there for other projects.
  14. Thank you, that's good to know. I do have one 8866 that I clearly bought without knowing its weaknesses.
  15. My thoughts exactly. But, my 5 yr old has been eyeing it, and other unopened boxes, since I got it. Need to hide them better.
