[MOD/MOC] GotB’s UCS X-Wing Starfighter 75355 with Landing Gear & Light FX
The nose section looks so elegant compared to the official set. This is the most complicated MOD of an UCS set I've seen yet. Amazing job! I wasn't satisfied with the official set, but it was a goog improvement of the previosus version, so I bought it. I will definitely build these modifications in the future to bring the model in almost perfect shape.

[MOC] [INSTRUCTIONS] UCS Tantive IV - CR-90 Corvette
It's been 2 years, since we moved to our new house and the LEGO room is progressing nicely. I've rebuild almost every disassembled UCS sets, so the time is near to put the Tantive IV together... I hope, that someone could figure out a solution for stabilizing the engines untill then or maybe I'll try to do something on my own.

What was your first LEGO Star Wars set?
Mine was the 7121 Naboo Swamp from 1999. I remember, there was a big hype around the first prequel movie... After that, I moved on to the UCS TIE Interceptor!

UCS X-Wing 2023 - Mods
Nice additions above! Has anyone solved the problem with exposed studs under the canopy? It is my biggest issue with this set. I haven't built it yet, but I'm interested in to replace those plates for tile. Do you think it's possible by keeping the stability?

[MOC] [INSTRUCTIONS] UCS Tantive IV - CR-90 Corvette
Hi Everyone, My model has been standing for a year on the top of the wardrobe, but it was time to store it somewhere else. It was very difficult to remove the dust from it, I could't reach some areas from below and was afraid of to brake the engines easily (despite of some strenghtening). After moving to my new appartment, the stabilizing of the engines will be on my list. It will last for a few months, because I'm quite busy now. You can see here, how the middle engines are tilted upwards due their on weight after one year. I'd like to fix this issue somehow. 5A54F0BC-2B55-4EAE-8E52-762E56257F8E by Gyula Herr, on Flickr

Awesome, how far you guys went with the interior design! They add so much extra features to the Falcon. How do these MODs influence the stability of the ship?

Hi, I think you've done the best solution to reproduce the Marshal Banana's version and be more accurate to the reference pictures! Great job! I like it a lot!

Yes, it is yours! Great design, thanks for sharing!

This a a funny scene, because they've used only a backround, instead of a real Falcon model. It's a well detailed artwork, it's hard to notice that i'ts only a poster. About the design: it's not my idea, I've just copied it, but unfortunately I can't name the creator...

75192 - UCS Millennium Falcon 2017 MOD/MOC
I've posted my Falcon for inspiration. I don't think that this old docking ring design fits less to the 2nd edition of the MF. It looks very similar to your last reference picture. I can't see any curved lines inside the ring, so I find the 3L bar more accurate in that location. You're right, that it's hard to find a good reference, I've just looked the Bandai model, it's very detailed. 50654039716_2a219614fb_o másolat by Gyula Herr, on Flickr I've used this guide to build the rings. You can see here, how the tiles are attached. As I've mentioned before, it is quite fragile, but this way you can face the tiles to center a little. 45962749322_0fb4deaf83_o by Gyula Herr, on Flickr I'm following how your new design progressing. I can say in the name of many members, that we welcome any better solutions, especially in terms of sturdyness! I think you are on a good way! Keep going!

75192 - UCS Millennium Falcon 2017 MOD/MOC
Hi, Here's my docking ring. It's not my own idea, there were some post about the structure at the beginning of this thread. I'm very satisfied with it. There is little tension at the main connection and it's quite fragile, but it does its job. I've made it about a year ago, and since then there was no problem with it, even in this tilted position. 75192 - UCS Millennium Falcon 2017 MOD/MOC
It's a great MOD, which looks much better than one of the factory model. For some critics: there is too much gap between the outer side of the ring and the panels and I'm missing the red and brown colours from it, but I don't have any suggestion, how to solve them. Anyway, nice job! 337577_big másolat by Gyula Herr, on Flickr 401406_big másolat by Gyula Herr, on Flickr

Modding the Barracuda thread
Just a quick update on my POBB set. Old meets new: D06B5D73-B25A-44E4-A3AB-F08EE4E4DEE0 by Gyula Herr, on Flickr Raft Raiders joined to the crew. The white sail is made of paper and it has the same custom logo as the big torn sail. I've expanded the water section, so it has now three different layers (DBG->LGG->tan) and some foamy effect too. FF084166-FD81-4336-958E-81042A66A6CC by Gyula Herr, on Flickr There is a little bending on the edges due to the repetitive plate connections, but I'm OK with it.

Looks great! I like how you've created a 3D effect with the transparent "cheese" slopes. However, I can't see clearly, how the parts are connected... Could you show us more photos, please?

Modding the Barracuda thread
I've just finished the torn sails on my Barracuda Bay set. I've made 3 of them. They are based on @Alazon's vector files with some minor changes. Their upper line is not completely straight, they have just a slight curve on top, like the official sails have. I've applied the biggest one onto the tallest mast with a custom crossbones logo. The sails are printed on 140 g photopaper. I've edited a dirty canvas-like background instead of white to make it more worn-looked. It was a nightmare to cut them out with scissors, but I'm satisfied with the fnal result. THE PIRATE BAY IS GOING TO BE AN OFFICIAL LEGO SET!!!!
I think basically it's not so different from the IDEAS model... There's a reef with shore, plants and shipwreck... but is more colourful and has much less room. I like to fade its colours later.

Sorry about that. It's not part of the set. As mentioned above, it's from the 8th Series of the Collectible Minifigures. I'm collecting pirate captains recently, and I store them at the Bay...
