  1. Don’t forget I think the prospect of a second CMF series has less to do with the potential for 20 more figs and more with its predicted profitability. Series 2 of TLBM and The Simpsons were not as succesful as their respective precursors (and TLNM didn’t get a follow-up series at all). Of course there’s a second Disney series coming up, but that’s three years after the first one, not just one I wouldn’t complain if we saw a second series after all, but I’m also not counting on it.
  2. I hope it ends up performing better than has been predicted so far, it absolutely deserves it! I've seen it today and loved it just as much as the first one I'd be really disappointed if this ended up being somewhat of a commercial flop when considering there's animated garbage around (coincidentally also with yellow main characters and involving bananas ) that grosses over a billion dollars despite not having even the tiniest fraction of the imagination and effort that went into this
  3. Affirmative I still hope he’s going to be made available elsewhere so everyone can have one, even though that would mean I spent money on basically nothing Darn my lack of impulse control!
  4. Technically, they’re right: those who bought the set before the change was made still got a complete set I think it’s very generous of them to send “replacements” at all, but of course some people are trying to abuse the system, resulting in negative consequences for all. I still don’t get why they went this route instead of releasing Dallow as a polybag or in an advent calendar, would have saved everyone a lot of trouble (and money, in my case )
  5. I think it’s just a single set rather than an entire wave (similar to last year’s Porg or Vader’s Castle) since the Episode IX sets are released two months after that Four waves in a single year would be overkill... Btw, since when are code names like that a thing? I know sets based on upcoming movies sometimes had code names like “Wolf” rather than the usual “Conf”, but this is quite a peculiar one
  6. Judging by the old post they’ve quoted, they probably started to read this thread from the wrong end
  7. The list above has been debunked ages ago
  8. Your source doesn’t happen to be Brickipedia, does it? If so, then it’s 99.999999% false since anyone can edit Brickipedia
  9. I think a is a idea, especially after I think it's kind of obvious now that we won't get any Christmasified (?) minifigs any more, but I personally don't mind that since I'll take something useful like General Merrick for instance over a Santa Vader/Maul/Jango/whatever any day @Praetorian_Guard @Kevii23 Does either of you happen to know the rest as well? Or at least partially?
  10. That Mickey looks great, though he lacks his iconic Steamboat Willie hat... Unless this is from an unannounced Ideas set, in which case it would make perfect sense for it to be missing (you know, new moulds and all that)
  11. Kitsune are shape-shifting foxes though, like that shifty bloke from Animal Crossing (forgot his English name) and Luigi’s alternative to Mario’s tanuki suit
  12. There’s a picture of a white, three-tailed wolf mould on IG. I assume it’s from Ninjago, fits with the ice theme and multi-tailed animals are a big thing in the folklore of many East Asian cultures
  13. A three-tailed white wolf has leaked on IG. Any idea where it might be from? My guess would be Ninjago...
  14. Of course they aren’t wrong, what I found funny was the notion of seeing a Spider-man set on shelves just named “Venice”
  15. Some of the site’s placeholder names are quite funny though, e.g. “Moltenman” or “Venice”
  16. Hm, that male head is a mystery... As others have pointed out, it can’t be Wong or Flash, so it’s either Luis, a random character (even though those tend to have generic faces) or a new character altogether Unless it’s not even a Marvel character, perhaps he’s from Toy Story 4 instead
  17. Is it a commercial or a fan site? If it’s the latter, they could surely provide some descriptions. Leaking the pictures is obviously out of the question since that might get someone in a loooooot of trouble Is there any way to get access to this information without risking the name becoming public?
  18. I think the minifig leaks started in late April or early May (and the first one was Snape, if I recall correctly) Our best chance for any info at the moment is NYTF since t’s too early for factory leaks and retailer catalogues aren’t leaked as consistently as they used to and more often than not they’re just full of pictures of blank boxes, making them exceedingly useless to us
  19. The theme was popular among adults (me included, I loved every single set and still do), but I don’t think it did all that well, as evidenced by the lack of LOTR sets in 2014. The Wizarding World and Middle-Earth franchises were both huge successes for WB, but in terms of merchandise, the former always had the upper hand, which makes sense when considering the target audience Never say never, but I don’t think it’ll return, which is compounded by the fact we’re not getting any movies anymore (the Amazon series doesn’t count).
  20. Too bad the goat isn’t real I never understood why they introduced the goat mould for one single set, never to be seen again Back to the main topic of the thread: Frankly, I was pretty disappointed at first about the CMF series “only” including 18 minifigs, but it was my own fault to expect more than that. At least the patterns are consistent: Regular series have 16 (occasionally 17), Disney 18, LEGO feature film - based ones 20 (except for the first movie) and WW 22 has minifigs. This way, it at least looks better on display (since you can arrange them the same way as Series 1) and as long as Goofy is involved and there aren’t any repeats (looking at you, Donald), this will be a highlight for me this year
  21. Wasn't she only 14 in TPM though?
  22. Edit: You're right, they are clearly mentioned in the report. I must've missed that somehow Quite weird that Overwatch was present while Harry Potter, Marvel, Jurassic World and Minecraft weren't...
  23. I had to learn that the hard way in 2014 when I expected the Hobbit sets to be on display at NYTF, and then they weren't, despite having been on display at the London Toy Fair... Sounds silly, but I've probably never been as disappointed as I was that day. At least the HP sets are released in June
  24. By the way, do we have a source on this? @Kevii23 It's not from the toy fair report, so I assume it's a private source?
