The situation has been quite difficult for a long time. I can't write anything more, but I can assure you that we did everything to make the set available for sale. The fact that the set appeared in the new catalog gives us hope that we will finally finalize it. I respond to messages asking about the release date at least a few times a week, so the interest is very high. Do you have any confirmed information on this? So far I've only seen a few people pleading in the topic with wishes for new excavator/JCB set. Knowing how high the expectations of JCB are, I'm very curious how Lego will manage to meet them. Especially when I see some licensed sets in which the biggest resemblance to the original machine is the logo sticker.

[MOC][WIP] Claas Cougar 1400
eric trax replied to Jundis's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The mower's folding linkage system is wonderfully organized. This is exactly what I would use if I were building this model. You are very modest but the current look of this model is no different from mine. Technic bricks can also give a very good look. Some of the scale elements are so small that if you want to build them to be durable there is no room for system bricks. I am waiting for more news! -
Two large CADA stickers on a larger number of bricks were not my idea. In the prototype, these elements were built entirely of bricks. I know that with a set consisting of over 4500 elements this will sound absurd but there are certain assumptions of limitations that we cannot exceed. The prints increased the price but we decided that this is such an exclusive set that the number of stickers must be limited. Unfortunately, not everything can be reconciled. I tested several configurations for new rims and wheel covers. Unfortunately, there was no possibility of producing new rims (costs). When I used the dish in combination with a smooth body, they took away the charm of a brick building. I know it sounds very strange. However, I wanted the combine to be recognizable in photos and graphics that it is still a model made of bricks and the exposed rims give it that. I watched the ATBT and CleverPig review. I am glad that the reception of the model is so good. I managed to improve my skill in designing the set. It is not the same as designing a model for the instructions. Despite the size of this set, building it is very satisfying and laying cables is not frustrating In addition to CADA micromotors (3 pieces) There are several liftarms with pins on the ends. I think it is possible to build it with Lego blocks. Also remember that Lego does not have a 2x4 wedge tile so the stud will be visible. I cannot share the building instructions for this model. However, I know that after about 6 months from the premiere, CADA itself provides instructions for the MASTER series models for free. The file also contains a parts list. As a fun fact, I can say that I sent the final prototype to R&D in December 2022, so the development took exactly 2 years. This shows how much work it takes to produce such a large and complicated set.

Actually the front tire 94.3x38R and rear tire 75x30,5R both designed by me. Thank You! In the case of mixed technic and system brick models, you can count 1000 parts to 1000 grams (1 kg). Of course, there are small deviations, but this is an estimate that works for each of my models. The combine, as far as I remember, weighs about 4.70 kg (4567 elements). I think you can assume these proportions for similar models by other authors. I'm waiting for my samples and will try to record my review by the end of the year.

Yes. The model is available to order now in the official CADA store for $350 and free shipping worldwide. You have to remember about import duties if there are any in your country. Direct link do CADA Store (-5% off with code: ERICTRAX5%) If you have any questions that you would like me to answer during the review just ask :)

I rarely see understanding here despite differing opinions. This topic was created precisely because some people here are trying to tell others to share their work hours for free. As I see, they managed to convince some to share sales. I saw your models on rebrickable. I think the main reason for the lack of sales here is the fact that the vast majority can be built from a photo/render. However, these are small models and not complicated enough to not try reverse engineering. Many of you say that building models is a pleasure and a hobby. I agree. Building is a pleasure. However, creating instructions, testing them, preparing a professional presentation with photos and videos takes a very long time in my case and takes away a large part of this pleasure. Maybe it's because I'm very pedantic and I like it when I know that everything is 100% the way I want it. It takes a lot of time and work. I can't imagine offer paid instructions that someone could complain about. Since I started providing paid instructions (first with @M_longer and now by myself) I have sold over 9000 copies of all my 26 models. I've had maybe 3 or 4 complaints. This confirms my belief that hard work will always defend itself against the opinions, of people who have no idea about the subject they are trying to speak about. P.S the truth is that the boom where people got interested in Lego and bought sets was during Co**id. Now a lot of people are bored with building and many also can't afford new sets which are very expensive. Lego thought that the growth of popularity would last forever and that's why they raised the prices of sets. The recent reductions in catalog prices are not a coincidence. Even Rebrickable statistics show how the interest in Lego sets is decreasing.

[MOC] LiuGong 856HE MAX

I am not surprised at all. It is a great opponent for my Doosan! The huge amount of details and the exotic bright green color in the world of loaders do not allow you to take your eyes off it. Congratulations on another great machine! -
This forum is not a sales indicator. We share models here to talk about them. There are so many social media platforms these days that discussion forums are a smal part of the traffic that Instagram, YouTube or Facebook generate. Registered users are irrelevant because a lot of people are buying on rebrickable as unregistered users/guests lately. Especially alternative models of the Mercedes G500 42177. I assume mostly from my YouTube in this specific case. If you think Eurobricks is the biggest medium where you can reach people who want to build anything other than just the basic model from the official set, you are very wrong.

Interesting theory. Are you assuming that the vast amount of art sold for big bucks is no longer art? That's even more interesting. Are you suggesting that building models for instructions can't be satisfying? Since I started making alternative models, I've developed my skills significantly. That's what made me have to change my building style. It was a big challenge for me, but it gave me a lot of satisfaction. Don't put others in your shoes. I have shared my knowledge with people over the years, giving advice during the build. I don't need to flaunt it publicly just so you have proof. You know... I started building with the people you mentioned, so that argument is a bit off. I don't worry about clients or sales. I just do my thing. I won't try to convince you of my point of view, I just think that some of the statements are off or absurd.
