I've got this set in my to-do pile, I'll definitely have to give this a go!

The tree looks good & I really like the gazebo/bandstand, it looks the ideal place for a carol concert!

I used the Bricksearch app this morning on my iPhone, the apps camera correctly pictured every minifig, I picked up the Noir Detective the minifig I was most interested in. It's such an easy 2 step process

Of course there's also the bat, rat, spider, scorpion & snake

They are very cool and surprisingly recognisable.

You could try the British newspapers Metro & Daily Mail as this is the kind of article you often see in them.

The head with the headset is from 4791 Alpha Team Sub-Surface Scooter so that's on the right torso

As a start the wolf figure is part of the wolfpack although as you thought the head doesn't match Search for Wolf in minifigs on Bricklink his head is from various sets bricklink search

According to the Brickset forum the Liverpool Lego store was due to open today (although the grand opening is a few weeks off yet) I was there yesterday and it did look nearly ready...
