  1. I agree to some extent. 1. I wish I had the right pieces to build better engine flaps, because in the actual vehicle they have some curvature rather than being flat. I have a big shipment of Lego coming in later this week and maybe when I revisit this model again, I will focus more on the aft section of the ship using some of those pieces. 2. I will admit that I struggled with the engine angling because my model was much bigger than the default Lego design that I got the engine design from. So in the adaptation, I made some mistakes. 3. This was my first serious attempt at a complex model, so I will also chalk up some mistakes to inexperience. Building this ship taught me a lot. I just broke down the model this morning because I needed the pieces for another project (a First Order themed AT-ST variant). But I intend on rebuilding this ship in the future.

Close air support vehicle, not necessarily Star Wars but I used the rebel pilot for visibility because of the not-so-clear cockpit window on a black background.
  3. Thanks guys. I'm thinking about breaking it down already for the bricks, but I am torn..... I want to keep this thing alive at the same time! :)
  4. This is my first complete piece that I have made as an adult. LOL. Woo hoo! I won't have a brick count until I dismantle, but it is huge. 54 studs long x 20 studs wide, almost as long as my arm. It can carry up to 24 men tightly, 16 men loosely (pictured). The heavy weapon can be dismounted and placed on field mount if tactically useful. The searchlight on the front can rotate a full arc.
  5. Nice. I always loved this ship in KOTOR2
  6. Waiting on two First Order Transports to arrive in the mail. Got a great price but had to wait for it to get back in stock and then standard shipping.... the wait is killing me
  7. Great design, ScottishDave. I really like the twin protrusions just ahead of the gunner's position. Great usage of those technic connectors. I have recently started working on my first MOC for public posting; a First Order Transporter of my own design. I am just waiting on an Amazon delivery that will give me the bricks I need to finish the piece. Do you still have this set built? Can you take a picture with the gunner's hatch open? I would like to see how that looks.
