  1. I'm tempted to make that my signature now . If you've seen MandR Productions video on the Trolls theme, he pretty much sums up everyone's reactions in a nutshell.
  2. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I'll be attempting to use a mixture of all of these methods, by sorting the dirty, muddy parts out and using the vacuum method and air compressor method for the rest. Hope it works out!
  3. Hello, I recently bought a lot of parts from a yardsale, and it is absolutely filled with dust. I haven't come across any solid answers on how to get dust out of buckets of parts, only from creations. I personally haven't had a bad issue with this, as I vacuum regularly, so I'm not sure how to go about this . Any help would be appreciated.
  4. Man, oh man, I love this build. One thing that really caught my eye was the cherry red and dark green foliage. I always love seeing those, as I think they're very nice touch, along with the various textured elements. Great work!

  6. No problem. I think I'll give CCBS another try. It seems like it's worth another shot. I didn't see the display stand beforehand, and that looks amazing as well. Keep up the great work!
  7. This is really neat! I love the good color and the use of the lipstick pieces for eyes. The gears are a nice touch. I never could really master the constraction building style as I was not used to the parts and gave up after awhile. Something to consider if you want to build up a parts collection, is Galidor. Some of the pieces are pretty useful. I picked up the TDN module along with Gorm and Euripides, and they aren't as bad as some make them out to be. Just a thought to consider.
  8. It'd amuse me to combine both and have the Piggy Guy rise from the ground .
  9. Hello, I just wanted to share my custom Emile-A239 Minifigure with you guys, as he is one of my first customs. I wanted to use existing LEGO prints and pieces, with the exception of the helmet and accessories. I guess you could call it a semi-purist figure. Speaking of the helmet, I took the basic space visor from a City set, sanded off the golden coating, used a pencil and sketched on the details of Emile's skull, colored them in with a golden Sharpie marker, and placed it onto a basic silver racing helmet from another City set. I chose to use the Mega Construx Halo Heroes series 8 Emile weapons for my Minifigure. Underneath the helmet, I used the Iron-Man 3 War machine/Iron-Patriot head for Emile's face. The head choice is roughly based on the Bungie concept art of Emile's face from Halo: Reach, as we never officially saw his face in-game. P.S. The image quality/lighting isn't the best, as I took it with my phone. I hope to improve the quality in the near future, and tips on that would be nice too .
  10. Wow, I love this kind of thing. It seems like something out of The Lego movie, but more violent. Gosh, this is really cool.
  11. These are fantastic! I love all of the themes you've chosen, the editing is awesome, keep up the amazing work!

  13. I wish LEGO would do something like this, as it would be cool just to look at. I've noticed that the transparent arms on my "Electro" figure have cracked, as well as one of the legs on my Chima figs. Even with the new plastic type @NathanR and @AmperZand have mentioned, I still would be skeptical. For one, would something like Trans-red crack easier than say Trans-Green, similar to how the Reddish Brown color and the Dark Red color cracked easier than other colors? The new Translucent Moose piece has some joints in it, so that could mean that LEGO is currently expirementing with something of that sort. I personally would love to see a Trans-Neon Green or Orange figure under a blacklight as it would be cool just to see it glow. Anyways, those are just some of my thoughts on the topic.
  14. Sorry for posting kind of late, but you would want to keep your parts out of natural sunlight, or away from windows. Also don't introduce them to too much heat or cold either. Hope this helps! What works for me is to place them in a small Sterilite bin filled with 3% hydrogen peroxide. I have saved countless pieces by doing this, and it seems to work very well. Some colors that work well for me are blue, light and dark gray, white, and trans-clear. Also, don't be afraid to throw in printed parts. Good luck!
  15. That's pretty cool. I like the use of the car hood piece. Isn't it from there Dimensions Sonic the Hedgehog fun pack? That's at least where I got mine. The colors blend extremely well together as well. Love it!
  16. I recently purchased two Bricklink orders for my HALO display, a lot of Duplo parts for the insides of larger builds, the Micro Minecraft sets 21107 and 21105 for the small tiles, a huge bin of LEGO stuff at a yardsale, two of the original Bionicle canisters (Onua and Gali) which were a dollar each and 100% complete at a yardsale, a small Duplo figure at an antique store for 50 cents and some organizers. Overall, way too much to sort.
  17. Gosh, at first glance it doesn't even look LEGO! I love everything about this. The chrome studs at the top are a nice touch, as well as the Minifigure hands on the front. The more I look, the more detail I see. Absolutely amazing. Keep up the fantastic work!
