  1. With the set images being officially released with prices could we please get them changed for the front page
  2. The set image of the box art has appeared online it looks pretty good, the minifigures we saw earlier may be the exclusive figs included as Lego has taken to including exclusive mini figures with ucs sets like the tin fighter.
  3. From the box art it looks like it will have a new resistance officer and the officer from the star destroyer. Based on some high rez images I found on the Reddit page it looks like we'll be getting a episode 3 clone gunnary trooper with Ayala secura To me these figs look legit also, I suspect the reason for 5 of them is various angles or prototypes. First I love your channel second look at what happened to the UK £55 for scarif £40 for the phantom £45 for the a-wing and jority of prior released sets have all seen a rise in price. The sets are $15 in stores and at Lego shop US
  4. The y-wing is on the us Lego website at $70 told ya!
  5. Not particularly except the resistance officer who appears to be unique to the set and the officer looks like another awesome set to get
  6. I've seen the Callander and it looks awesome
  7. Lucky I can't find those images anywhere
  8. Lego did have a prototype of the set already and It looked quite good, Lego don't have to make a full scale yavin base merely the front of it with a pyramidical structure to it with a hangar at the bottom with one midi scale x-wing (no stud shooters or spring loaded shooters) a few ground crew stuff and have a second floor command centre and a third floor from a new hopes ending. If Lego design it sensibly they can keep the price and part count low. Also a rebel base has been hinted at by just2good on his summer wave set video
  9. How do you know? That's true but it's the only thing we actually have to go on for those in the us. However perhaps lego will release them after tomorrow perhaps they're just waiting to see how the dollar does before releasing prices.
  10. No offence but I strongly doubt the phantom will be $25 it could be an error because target does make errors like when they listed takodana for $40 on their website. Also it's very rare the U.S. Gets sets lower in number than the uk where it's £40. Also a YouTuber called brick ministry did a review on the set and stated it would be $40. Correct the last one had a cockpit and a canon turret slot. I fear that if they do include an interior it will drive up the price a great deal. Does this mean that the rebel base set just2good reported as coming this year was a false rumour? Or is it still on the table? I'm hoping it's a ucs set and it makes sense given it appeared mainly in a new hope 40 years ago.
  11. That's true having seen the sets in person the phantom box is larger than the naboo and starfighter set despite there being less than 10 pieces between the phantom and strafighter yet £20 price gap Based off the size of the set I think $30-45 is my bets estimate as we really can't tell which way lego will jump and also what state the dollar will be in by then as well as th Euro and pound, right now inflation is increasing rapidly all things considered but may come down depending on how trump acts and if the uk can negotiate a good deal for leaving the eu. However I think with Vaders transformation we can assume with great accuracy that it will be around $20-25 and for me £20, it's simply too small and very similar to naboos and freezing chambers layout.
  12. Yeah, but I think perhaps a full UCS set is in order with and I know it's a lot to ask from Lego but also a reasonable price.
  13. What I want to know is if we are still getting that rebel base set. As it's the 40th anniversary of Star Wars I feel that a new hope yavin base would be perfect or even a UCS yavin base set and as just2good stated that the wave is meant to include a rebel base set.
  14. I posted my source on i believe page 150 it's a YouTuber whos posted set prices along with his builds and comparing them to the uk it seems very likely they are correct and insult to injury I'm afraid that the pound is still more valuable than the dollar therefore it's far worse for the uk than the us so I'm afraid your just going to have to live with it. The y-wing is £65 In the uk so this mark up is very real, also the battle on scarif is worse than takodana as it has less pieces but still cost £55 and as I said my source suggest $60. Also for the landspeeder if yo think about it the landspeeder has 149 pieces so $20 is reasonable if Lego wants it to sell as the set just isn't good enough for a higher price point.
  15. I'm afraid that this is pointless, with exchange rates being so close together and the fact that the US numbers are higher by buying from the US you are in fact paying more money for the same thing which is pointless. as I have stated before: Y-wing $69.99 battle on scarif $59.99 A-Wing (tbc) $49.99 phantom $39.99 yodas Jedi star fighter $24.99 lukes landspeeder (tbc) $19.99 duel on naboo $19.99 As many of you are aware this year marks the 40th anniversary of Star Wars itself. With this in mind many people have speculated we will be seeing a UCS melenium falcon bearing in mind this is an anniversary (and previous set list for this summer wave) I think we can also speculate that we may see a UCS series yavin base as last Star Wars anniversary Lego did we saw a minifigure scale tantive IV. Finally though this is unlikely we may see a third UCS set. I can confirm to you as fact that we will be seeing an A-Wing in episode VII but there's another forum for that.
