Egg Separator
VKTechnic replied to uefchen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingLooks like it's not 100% effective (one yolk fell through in the video). Nice looking model nonetheless, would be cool if you could make it break the egg for you too!

[MOC] Project Thrasher (rock crawler/bouncer)
VKTechnic replied to AndyCW's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingYou get what you pay for I really wish LEGO would make a higher-spec R/C system using good LiPo batteries, proper R/C (receivers, ESC, etc.), and more powerful/faster motors. Maybe someday...

VKTechnic replied to Appie's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingFinished the LDD today, you can find it here. Appie's Little Pneumatic Wheel Loader LDD by VKTechnic, on Flickr It's missing very little, only the pneumatic parts and the Technic Hub/Handle 1 x 1. Unless I missed something, everything else should be included. Again, good job on the model Appie, it was very fun making the LDD- Little Pneumatic Wheel Loader
VKTechnic replied to Appie's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingMore than enough photos, should only take 30 minutes or so to get the LDD finished (once I get home).- General Part Discussion

Appie's Tiny Loader LDD (WIP) by VKTechnic, on Flickr The only part that I haven't modeled yet is the middle section, it's so compact that the photos don't show much. @Appie, would you mind posting some photos of the middle section?- Cyberarm IV

VKTechnic replied to Tommy Styrvoky's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingNice job! It's a tad gray, but there's not much you can do about that- [WIP] Buggy

VKTechnic replied to Doc_Brown's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingPretty excited for this- Third Party Tires for Lego Technic Rims
VKTechnic replied to efferman's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThey will fit, but it will be a pretty loose fit (i.e. the tire will not grip the wheel as much), and you'll most likely have a lot of wheel slipping. The best solution for this would probably be to glue the tires, but I'm not sure how much of a purist you are- Little Pneumatic Wheel Loader
VKTechnic replied to Appie's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI'm stunned at how small you made this. Awesome job!- [MOC] Datsun 1600 SSS Rally Car

VKTechnic replied to efferman's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThe closest you'll get are probably these Mickey Thompson tires, which will fit the Power Puller wheels: Dimensions: - Outer Diameter: 5.84in / 148.5mm - Width: 2.29in / 58.2mm - Inner Diameter: 2.2in / 56mm- [WIP] Land Rover Defender 90
VKTechnic replied to Ciapasty's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI'd also suggest moving the diff lock to the other side, it'll let you mount the diff a bit sturdier.- Third Party Tires for Lego Technic Rims
VKTechnic replied to efferman's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingDluders did some tests earlier, 2.2" tires fit pretty well on those rims: Plumped & Normal Mounting of RC4WD Hollowpoint 2.2 Tires on Lego Power Pullers 22969 Wheels by dluders, on Flickr The only thing is, PP wheels are a little wider than the 2.2" tires, so the tires look better when mounted on the inside of the outer flange (as seen on the right of the above picture).- [WIP] Land Rover Defender 90
