msk6003 replied to Milan's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI remember it being about the almost same strength, I'll check it out after work today. At least it's definitely stronger than the soft version usually used on motorcycles.

2025 Technic Sets Discussion
msk6003 replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThe idea that the Aston Martin F1 Safety Car will be the next 1:10 model sounds very reasonable. The car's original color is closer to dark turquoise, but considering that it was recently shown in Speed Champions in normal green, it's likely that it will be in normal green in Technic too. Additionally, if the Aston Martin Safety Car is true, there is a possibility that the F1 model will also be Aston Martin, and this large-scale collaboration with Aston Martin also indicates that the 2026 1:8 supercar could be Aston Martin too.

42172 - McLaren P1
msk6003 replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingSeems like TLG did similer thing but something different. It has very lot of C+ L motor on backside of car but it isn't work in video. I'm guessing they took the chassis of a real car and put a Lego cover on it, so the car in the video runs at the same high speed as the real P1. Anyway, TLG did something similar to what they did with the Bugatti and Sian: using a lot of parts in non-existent colours. In the video, you can see a lot of 7L flip-flop beams (probably yellow), as well as a stop axle of unknown length and possibly a 3L friction pin, all in yellow.

General Part Discussion
msk6003 replied to Polo-Freak's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI don't remember which model it was, but I had the same issue while disassembling the same part that went into the 5L suspension arm. I think that hub part is the problem.

Technic Generic WIP / Proof of Concept Topic
For people anyone who interested to custom chain/track for tank or other thing This is my custom sprocket design for custom chain which I found few years ago. I didn't post it because I planned to use it for my K1A2 MOC but it delayed to much so I change my mind. Even on this setup chain can work perfectly but if you have some kind of 5L circule thing like 68327 can use for more stable working.

42176 Porsche GT4 e-Performance
msk6003 replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThe shape is tricky to make in reality, so I imported the existing 13L thing and reduced the length to 9L. Other than that, nothing has changed, so if you have a parts designer, you can actually make it yourself. Of course, there is an air vent that is not in the actual part, and it looks a little dented, but it is usable without any problems. Just like the rendering picture in the link. And hub looks like this. The original's curved parts are all gone and there is no color separation, but it is no problem to use. At least in my trike.

msk6003 replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI made instruction on rebrickable. Since 9L curved panel and new hub isn't in studio yet so I made it my self using part designer.

msk6003 replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI made trike from this set. I thought Go-kart or F1 also too but someone will do it. Like my sign said, I like to build unusual thing. Function Drive and steering using original C+ app. Front wheel can controllable by hub. Only rear light working

Technic Parts We Would Find Useful
msk6003 replied to gyenesvi's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingVery recently we get 12t clutch on P1 and G-wagen but it is spur gear type. I know it is for low friction driving but will be useful if one side has bevel. For example, It can connect 28t, mini turntable, and with some half stud alignment, can connect with 36t.
