  1. At a Target near Washington DC, I found the PoC London Escape on clearance for 38.50. And at another nearby Target, the PoC Whitecap set was on clearance for $58, but the London Escape as still MSRP. Hope others have some luck with this.
  2. I thought there might be a policy like that (and vaguely recall reading about it when I signed up). Well, this note may be number 10, so I'll give the PM another shot. Thanks for the reminder.
  3. I don't know why, but the site is blocking me from sending you a PM. I'm sorry to ask, but if you don't mind, could you send me a quick note so I can get your email address? You can send it to - brickstreet82 at gmail dot com Thanks a lot. Just fyi, I live on the outskirts of Washington DC, am 53 years old and the father of three kids who love Lego and have become rather sophisticated builders, and I have bought sets from sellers outside the US before. Thanks a lot. Tim Forde (aka Jeff Lord)
  4. Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep an eye out for the other sets you expect to list and will try to respond more quickly once you list them. And I'll keep my fingers crossed about the Batman sets! Thanks again.
  5. I am interested in both Batman sets. Can you let me know the price you would take if I bought both sets? (I understand shipping would be extra). Thanks a lot!
  6. Kmart's three week-long toy clearance was scheduled to end on April 24. The deal was 50% off the marked clearance price. Some folks thought the discount would increase to 75% starting today for any toys that were left over. But it was not the case at the Kmart in Hyattsville, MD. I was able to get a Toy Story Trash Compactor Escape (7296) for $18.50 (half off the clearance price of $37). It was the last one, but they still have some Toy Story dump trucks, Buzz sets, and quite a few Hero Factory sets available.
  7. Well, I feel a little better now 007. Thought I would let you know that I am certain that I have some complete Extreme Team minifigs in very good condition. I'll take a closer look this evening to see exactly how much I have. I've never had a General Grievous minifig, and have never wanted one som much to pay big bucks for one. But I would happily do a fair trade. And it sounds like what you have in mind is more than fair. Feel free to PM (assuming I can receive them). Then I'll be able to respond to you privately. Thanks a million. I really do hope this works out. JeffLord
  8. Great post! A PM will be on its way shortly. Hope this works out. Well, this is rather embarrassing ... I can't find the link or symbol that will let me send a PM to you. No doubt it will prove to be incredibly obvious, thus compounding the embarrassment and show everyone that I really am a newbie. If you can point me in the right direction, I will be most grateful. Many thanks.
  9. Hi there -- I've been a Lego Dad for about 12 years. Though my kids' interest is fading a little as they develop other interests, mine has just kept growing. We have well over 100 sets, and our Peeron inventory indicates we have just over 100,000 pieces. I don't have any new sets on order at the moment, but am definitely looking at some potential new acquisitions. I also have a good digital camera and can easily upload pictures to my computer. I've read some great reviews on Eurobricks and would enjoy being able to add something that might be useful for others. Many thanks.
