Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
My order from October changed to “shipped” and I just saw a charge pending on my card, so I’m hopeful it’ll arrive soon. But I haven’t gotten any email communications about the delay or the change in status. Does anyone know if there’s a way to find the tracking number for a second shipment in an order? On my account page, it’s only showing the tracking number from the best sellers portion of my order.

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
I forgot about the gimmicks. I feel like gimmick sets should either stick with entirely exclusive figures or reuse figures from the wave. The “same suit except an exclusive non-canon mask” ends up as the worst of both worlds; you can’t buy the gimmick as a cheap way to get the main suit, and there’s no reason to buy it for an exclusive minifigure. I wonder if product testing revealed that kids just don’t care about it? I think the Crossroads will be a standalone set, and the next modular will come in 2026 to commemorate 15 years of Ninjago. That way, this year’s set can focus more on DR and then next year could be more retrospective. I’m not sure if LEGO would do another anniversary minifig lineup so soon (Star Wars got one for both 20 and 25 years, but 25 is more of a milestone than 15). At the very least, a modular set could be marketed as a 15 year celebration without LEGO having to do too much differently than they otherwise would have for a modular.

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
I like both of the new dragons but neither is blowing me away. The color schemes are interesting and refreshing but I’m not sold on either’s shape yet. I don’t really understand how Thunderfang is able to stay upright as it seems really front-heavy. At $50, this would be a good set, but I can’t justify it at its current price. The Arc Dragon is much bulkier and feels more worthwhile, especially at a discount. I don’t really like the horns as I think they’ve been a bit overdone recently (in Zane’s ice dragon creature and Cole’s EVO dragon specifically). The Zarkt figure is really cool though. I’m glad we aren’t getting a full slate of new ninja minifigures in the March wave. 3 suits in one year was too much in 2024. I am puzzled about Arin having a different hood in this wave though. I like this version a lot more than the one in the jet, but why use two valuable element slots on this minor difference when Sora and Wyldfyre don’t get any updates? I don’t usually buy sets until well after they debut, so I’ll have some time to think about these (especially vs. the Zane combo mech). Too many good sets, not enough money/space/time!

Latest news about Lego animal moulds
Feels odd that they’re revisiting arctic sets so soon. They must be popular with kids, and honestly who can blame them? Neither of the sets sound particularly water-focused so I’m thinking any animals that are included are more likely to exist on land. Personally I’d love an arctic fox (that can be recolored later), a recolored snowshoe hare, and more wolves. At a stretch, maybe a musk ox, but I doubt they would be well-known enough by children. If we do see ocean animals, I’m hoping for a walrus or narwhal! Does anyone know what other city sets may be coming in 2HY? It sounds like no more jungle, which is sad.

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
Overall a very refreshing wave with some new concepts and well-designed minifigures. I’ll probably wait and see the spring/summer sets before deciding on any of these, but here are my initial thoughts: The only set I’m 100% sold on is the Forest Dragon. It’s a great follow-up to young Riyu and I love the baby yellow dragon. I also still like the jet, and if it’s really only $50 then I could see myself getting it at a discount. That new Arin is nice! The combo mech I’m less certain about. I have the previous one and this doesn’t look that much better. I also think the separated vehicles on this one are pretty weak (other than Buff Zane). Even Riyu is a lot worse than this years’ version. The “village” has some great figures but is a little too small of a build to interest me. Same with Zane’s mech, though at $10 I’ll probably end up with it at some point. It does feel like the designers made some bizarre choices with this wave. Why give Zane two new suits and Sora zero? Why include the weird S1/2 Lloyd mashup in the dragon? Why does the 4+ set not include each of the ninja’s hoods? Why does Kai once again get a gold mask in his spinner set? I’d much prefer that budget go to almost anything else. The minifigs that are new are fun, but I’m really not a fan of the new masks. They look too much like super hero helmets, like Ant-Man or something. I think they’d work better with bulkier shoulder armor. I like the F5 figs fine, but the real stars of the show are the Dragonians. It’s nice to see so many of them throughout the wave. Here’s hoping they’re available on PaB. Speaking of PaB, has anyone else noticed how bad it’s been for Ninjago parts this year specifically? Has there been any official reason given for why? I think only a handful of figures have been available in their entirety this year.

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
I’m loving the slow drip of reveals, let’s keep them coming! The new spinner looks very cool, much better than the more recent gimmicks we’ve seen with DR. I’m excited to see what Sora’s looks like. The forest dragon is well-designed, but I can’t help but think it’s disappointing that it doesn’t have any real indicators of its “forest” title outside of the green and brown color scheme. It would have been interesting to see a dragon made of leaves and wood to really set this apart from other green dragons. Still, it’s excellent for its size, so I’m excited to see it in more detail. The storm rider is a fun idea, and it’s always great to see new vehicle designs when everything else feels so repetitive. I’m not sure I’ll buy it, but I’m interested to see what it looks like from other angles. The chaos dragon has an awesome color scheme and cool wings. It’s a little smaller than I was envisioning, but it’s kind of hard to get a sense of the scale with it rearing up like that. Personally I’m a little disappointed with the combo mech because it is very similar visually to the previous one. I’d prefer something a bit more visually distinctive, but having Riyu on top is a nice addition (and a creative way to put another Riyu model into a set without repeating this year’s model). I’m wondering if there’s a Zane minifigure under the “giant Zane” that you all have pointed out. It’s a bit too fuzzy for me to make sense of it. I’ll reserve further judgement on this one until we can see the individual vehicles and how they connect. The minifigures here really are a mixed bag - the dragonians are amazingly detailed, and the forbidden five promise to be very cool. I like the new ninja wraps, but I share others’ concerns about minifigures repeated from earlier waves. If this really is the case, it feels a little lazy and doesn’t do certain characters (read: Sora) justice. I have some hope that these renderings are incomplete, especially the chaos dragon one, but only time will tell. Either way, I’ll have to get a ton of those full dragonians! I wonder if they will change color schemes for the summer like the wolf masks did this year?

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
Major 2025 news from Fateful! Looks like in addition to the known 11 January sets, we’re getting 3 in March and 10 in June. I’m liking the sound of the “Arc Dragon of Focus” - I’m hoping a source dragon? The villains sound cool too, we’ve been talking about dragon villains for a long time around here! Plus the Forbidden Five. It’s shaping up to be another fun year!

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
What timely discussion we were just having about the combo mech! I also wouldn’t have been interested if it was just a Zane mech, but I really like the combination of characters they’ve put together. I’ll wait and see what it looks like, but I could definitely see myself wanting this. I wonder if Riyu will be very similar to the set from this year or not? I imagine it’ll use the same specialized head part,

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
We don’t know what the combo mech will entail yet. Some here have suggested maybe multiple Zane vehicles that combine into one, or a Zane mech with swappable limbs and accessories. I think it’s also possible that there are other pilots but the aesthetic is overall Zane’s. Shouldn’t be too long before we get some descriptions and/or pictures and see for ourselves!

*Cries in North America* I still don’t understand why we can’t get magazines here in the states. I assume they’d be very popular. At least Pick a Brick has been more reliable lately. For anyone in Europe, any tips on where to find good stashes of recent magazine issues? I may be in Germany later this year.

LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion
Great list! I also would love a Ninjago CMF, even if it would mostly be taken up by main characters. I imagine designers would feel pressured to include new variants of all six original ninja and now also Arin and Sora, if not also Wyldfyre. Plus with Wu, Pixal, and Garmadon, that’s already 12 characters without really leaving the main cast. I think it would be hard to justify including someone like Sorla or Faith, who definitely had major roles in their respective seasons but ultimately have been absent for years, over someone like Jay, who every kid knows and is many’s favorite character. That’s also the reason I was thinking about bonus anniversary figs over something like a CMF. Another option would be the best modular, which would be a great place for newer minor characters like Frohicky or Geo or even the occasional throwback. All this to say, I hope Ninjago sticks around a long while and we get even more cool characters!

LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion
An interesting thought: say Ninjago’s next big anniversary (15? 20?) gets a wave of never-before-seen characters like in Star Wars this year. What characters from the last 14 years would you want to see as minifigures? I’m still waiting on Fugidove
