[MOC] LEGO sailor man
Recently I have noticed that downsizing seems to have hit me and my MOCs are getting smaller and smaller. This is probably my the smallest and the simplest creation - the sailor man. The construction is a development of the earlier idea of a moving man with a barbell or something similar. However I realised that his movement reminded me more of rowing in boat, so I added a boat and a rack. I also decided to upload the project to Lego Ideas, if anyone wants to take a look and click, the link is here: Support this project on LEGO Ideas Photo: And what is more important - how it works: More photos Regards to the forum!

[MOC] LEGO compound bow (working)
I started the construction of this bow before making the LEGO compound crossbow . I started it with a large black frame, black because I like such things when they are black and not in camo as usual, then I added arms consisting of just a few liftarms, yellow, strong shock absorbers were used as the drive, at the beginning two and on the same day the whole system was ready. I stretched the string on the blocks and ... it works as it should :) Nothing falls apart, the frame is stiff enough, the wheels turn. I added another 4 shock absorbers - it started to work even better. Then there were only issues of aesthetics and details. I added semi-circular panels imitating the carbon bent arms that are normally used for propulsion, a sight with 3 pins that can be adjusted, a cradle on the boom and a silencer (that's the rubber thing the bowstring hits). This is how my definitely fastest built MOC was created. And it looks like this: Below is a few seconds short where you can see how it shoots: But main video is here: More photos like usual on my FLICKR And in topic on Polish forum: LUGPOL Feel free to share your opinion :)

[MOC] LEGO Technic Working Crossbow
It is exactly a reversible compound crossbow because the system is inverted compared to the "normal" system - here the string is further from the holder, and thats why the equipment gains more compact dimensions and a longer run for the bolt. It looks like: And with the system stretched: I didn't cover the construction except for the handle and left the look raw in a typical technic style to focus mainly on efficient operation and during shooting so that there was no effect of bricks falling off every now and then. The crossbow has a trigger mechanism with an automatic fuse - it works so that you need to press the red FIRE / SAFE button to press the trigger. After the shot, when we put the string back on the "hook", the fuse pops back into the extended SAFE position. Below is a few-second video showing the most important thing, i.e. how it shoots: If anyone is curious what the range of shots is, they will find the answer at the end of the main video :) I will say right away that it is not very impressive, but for a model made of bricks, I think it can be - a substitute for shooting rather than spitting out arrows :) More photos as usual at my FLICKR and on Polish forum: LUGPOL Regards to the forum :)

Mjolnir - Thor's hammer
The concept of building a hammer appeared almost immediately when we started watching Marvel with the younger generation of builders (my dad was drawn to it the most). The hammer may be said to be real size. Dimensions: Length: 28s Width / height: 18s Handle length: 40s. Weight: about 1.5 kg (for the unworthy people, the weight tends to infinity) More photos in my gallery The inside is empty and quite ugly so I do not share photos from the construction site :) Feel free to watch!
