1. It´s helpfull to have 75188 for the "special parts" 2.many parts like tiles are cheaper @lego.com (with the brickhuntertool you have an easy way to compare the prices between lego.com and bricklink);e.g. Part 88930 only a few bricklink seller have the required number 3 used parts are O.K. for many areas (use the manual); personally I use "new parts" for the outside - tiles and slopes) 4. good luck and have fun fun fun

for PAB in germany - use the brickhunter tool. You can upload your bricklink wanted list and the tool shows you all the available parts @ PAB/ SuT. You can choose the Parts you want to buy and the tool create the shopping cart. Easy way to order all parts in five minutes.

You need bricklink, most of the rare parts are older parts which you did not get from LEGO S@h. @Mirko fantastic job with the book.

The book will be delivered today, I had 65% of the parts at home and ordered first the "hard to get" parts. The rest (ca. 25%) will be ordered during the VIP -Weekend.

bought Palpatines Arrest for 45 €, no Box and no instructions but all Minifigures in excellent condition (like new).

I bought the Rsistance Speeder Pilot Nodin Chavdi at ebay to get a torso and the legs for my Finch Dallow Figure; also got Finch Dallows helmet and Head via Lego for free,

Get the old Phantom for 5 Euro; 2x 8038 Battle of Endor ( each 60 Euro), 75042 Droid Gunship (22 Euro) and 75093 Death Star Final Duel with two extra Royal Guard from the old Star Destroyer 6211 (36 Euro), no boxes but all complete and in very good condition, (My Kid´s Christmas-wishlist, they want only the old Sets)

My experience with buying the parts I bought about 50 Lots at S@H and the rest via bricklink Here some Parts (Europe/ Germany) most in light bluish gray via s@h 87926/ 41769/ 41770 / 43722/ 43723/ 87079/ 87715 (S@H 17715) / 30374 (21462 S@H)/ 44300/ 2343 (S@H 6269) / 30162/ 99563/ 3024/ 61409/ 10202/ 15712/ 27263/ 14719/ 11203/ 3068b in DBG/ 3069b/ 3070b/ 30565/ 63965 for dark bluish gray and black parts you should use Bricklink Plates only from bricklink (exception 3024 and 60479 in dbg hard to get) - I mixed used and new Plates some Technic parts are only available in few shops so pay a little more at S@H (3703 dbg/ 32555/ 98989/ 23443) I mixed new and used Tile - new - most from Lego shop (Quantity) I get all the parts for 775 € (ca. 13k parts)

Just finished the beast with the help of my six year old son, so it was a slower building but we had so much fun. Thanks to Raskolnikov and legolijntje - everything works! no Problem with the instructions.

yes, and they are sold out in Lego´s s@h, so i have to wait because 400 Tiles with a price of 15ct and VIP Points is much better than via bricklink for ca. 20ct + shipping. Good luck and have fun with this beast.
