  1. Built this thing for my 4 year old son to play with. Priority one was that it had to be tough, because he is really good at destroying things:) Its not intended to look like a existing car, its just built from my imagination:) The chassis is based on this one from Sariel, find it here: http://sariel.pl/ but improved with better shock absobers, and mad stronger. The frame is black and blue liftarms, made for easy repair, if anything broke. Data: 1x XL motor for drive 1x M motor for Steering 1x PF light for front light 1x PF battery box Drive motor is geared 5:1, this thing can really climb!!:) Steering motor is geared 9:1 Battery box is hidden behind the doors. Reciever is on the back of the car with a switch for the light Doors and bonnet can open.

  4. My 3 year old son loves Wall-e, both the movie, all toys, and every other robot and things with motors i show him my 6 year old daughter: "dad, where is all the yellow bricks?"
  5. Finished the first test programming on my Wall-E bot today. It now moves and avoids obstacles. Took me some time I'm fairly new to NXT and with 2x multiplexer and the sumoeyes, it was alot of trial and error. I now have the basic funtions in place. i'm currently working on emotions and interacting with stuf via the other sensors( sonar and mic) enjoy:) and visit my MOCpage for more pics and info http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/274719
  6. Rebuilt wall-E's head from scratch today. The PF m motor was not precise enough for spinning the head. So i fitted a NXT motor for the function instead. I also today, discovered HItechnics new motorblock PID http://www.hitechnic.com/downloadnew.php?category=13 So now wall-E's head can be aligned with the body no matter what startpoint it has. Perfect:) I'll will post a video tomorrow of some of thenfirst programming.
  7. Thx:). I just recently started with LEGO again, and This is my first large scale MOC.
