Is this version more "stable" than the previous one? When I try to play with my old version with my daughter it seems that I am fixing it more than playing with it. So for playability is this better?

I am trying to find this lego head. I found one on ebay from Australia but I would like to know what set it is from so maybe I can find it in N. America.

I was hoping the death star would be on sale, but settled for the Tantive IV. Also I was hoping to get it a bit cheaper but it was still a good excuse to pick up a good set.
