  1. I use existing cabinet, the one with glass doors, I prepare "steps" made of Lego and place my minifigs collection there (I purchase through bricklink minifigs I like, so therefore the mix of different types - mainly Star Wars, Hobbit + LOTR and superheroes). http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a582/PeterKoudy/CinemaPokoj/Lego_collection/DSC04279_zpsd3eee5d4.jpg http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a582/PeterKoudy/CinemaPokoj/Lego_collection/DSC04276_zpsef5dd644.jpg http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a582/PeterKoudy/CinemaPokoj/Lego_collection/DSC04275_zps44c0488c.jpg For armies I use 36x36 baseplate, sometimes covered by studless Lego plates, with studs only for stormtrooper legs. It fits into my cabinet. http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a582/PeterKoudy/CinemaPokoj/Lego_collection/DSC03692_zpsf7295d78.jpg http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a582/PeterKoudy/CinemaPokoj/Lego_collection/DSC03693_zpsa468ce38.jpg

Well, the article is wrong in one thing - according to the TV news in CR, it was employee of Kladno Lego factory, who had even other employees bringing him minifigures or their parts, that he completed afterwards. So no toy shop employee. It would be strange if he stole minifigures out of the sealed boxes - who would buy then open box of some set?
  3. Yes, but only the heads. I was expecting the printing on the chests and maybe helmets to glow a bit (similar to the mummy from monster hunters series) - would make sense. But at least the heads do. Got all 3 minifigs. To show how they glow in the dark I took photo without light, for comparison I added mummy. http://i1285.photobu...ps98a9b23a.jpg http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a582/PeterKoudy/DSC03663_zps45e81607.jpg
  4. With weight slightly over 2kg? I doubt that. We will see soon. Not that long to wait.
  5. I would guess he took the numbers from here:
  6. Well, the people organizing the event on Lipno Point said there will be new set revealed tomorrow (press conference from 9.00-10.00 CET). So probably that's it. I am sure pictures of the set will quickly spread on Internet, but to have it first hand, here is the facebook page of the event (in Czech, but you can see some great Lego MOCs there done by AFOLs): https://www.facebook.com/pages/Uj%C3%AD%C5%BEd%C3%ADme-NA-LEGU/559528554067015?fref=ts
  7. Awsome! Thank you for the pictures. In fact I remembered the set two hours ago and started searching if pictures are available anywhere. In 2 hours you posted HR pictures of the set. Just perfect timing. I am now going to start searching for the picture of next year modular, and will hope that you will add the pictures in few hours from start of the search
  8. When they started the system one big SW UCS one year and two smaller the next year, I would say that they will keep up with the system and next year we can expect one big UCS set (400 EUR/USD one). The only ship I would imagine that remains from the well known ships is the Venator, yet there are many other ships/planet structures that can be made (Mon Calamari cruisers, Medical Frigate, or even Yavin temple/Senate/Jedi temple), etc. I think it is too soon to say and we can only speculate. I don't think Lego itself knows now.
  9. It was great step from Lego to announce (and present) the image of Rancor pit so soon (even before Jabba's Palace comes to some countries) - now seeing this new set, I changed my previous decision not to buy Jabba's Palace set and I will definitely buy it now. And I think more people will decide based on the modularity of the sets.
  10. Perfect for me. It will be great addition to UCS X-Wing, Tie Interceptor and Vaders Tie. No minifigs needed, this is UCS for display and not for playing with.
  11. Well, power functions are by lego.wikia present even in sets 10199 and 7052, with light brick only. I would not expect more than just light brick in engines or so. Full power functions would be ideal for R2-D2, but it included none. Why would they now integrate them into B-Wing if not into R2?
  12. For me the most recent is 10221 Executor (purchased together with 10220 from Pixmania), completing my collection of UCS SW sets (only the ships and not playsets, I hate these, nor busts). But sold most of the nonUCS SW Lego sets at the same time.
  13. The list finally surfaced, I see. Not to the last number, but the most interesting set titles are out. Nothing else SW till 10231 (which is Shuttle Expedition already in sale), so I guess one of the SW sets could be in September 2012 (such as UCS IS last year) and one in November 2012 (such as Obi Wan's Jedi Starfighter last year). This year's Executor is too expensive, so I guess that is why there will be only one SW UCS this year.
  14. Can't tell the release date, the only thing I got are the set numbers, names plus some info about new series, but no identification of the source nor pictures, so the info is not reliable. Let's wait till the pictures are released, even if it is 3 days before start of sale. My guess about release would be January 2012, as Volkswagen, Executor and Post office with lower numbers have not been released yet.
  15. Every 5th letter or number. 245715434045632542422442723ACB3FGDWTREWIGHBSNGBHGG. No fans of detective stories here I guess.
  16. OK, next time I will keep quiet about everything I learn. Sorry about bothering you with it.
  17. Probably. Do you think I should start asking who his friend is to be cut from the info? Or should I keep quiet and get some news from time to time? And share it with you all? KimT: Believe it or not, we will see when some more info surfaces. Take is as a rumor. I just had to share what I learned. Maybe he was joking. Maybe not. I believe he was telling truth.
  18. Don't know more about the set, just the name, but well I imagine it as two knights on horses fighting, some people watching it on tribune (something like this http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1536006 but in UCS scale).
  19. Did not see the set, heard the number and name of the set. Source: Friend of friend of mine, yet the info he provided in the past was correct, so I trust it is correct in this case too. Yep it should be the first one you mentioned.
  20. Finally addition to my collection of UCS SW fighters. Guess which one? Rebel fighter seen shortly in E VI in attack against DSII. Hope they won't screw it up. Probably in 2012. No pictures, just know the number and name of the set. Try to get it from the following code: 245715434045632542422442723ACB3FGDWTREWIGHBSNGBHGG
  21. Friend of mine, who has some friend in factory. He tells me news from time to time (the info about pet shop and post office, Shuttle Expedition was correct, so I believe the info about kingdoms set will be true too). Such as that there should be UCS 10223 set named Kingdoms Joust.
  22. No mention about 10223 set yet? Heard it should be kingdoms set.
  23. I would like to see more fantasy figs: Orcs Dwarves (one is in series 5, but more variations would be cool) More Egypt themed figs (like Anubis, Ra). What about some other creatures - Draconians (are they licensed?), drows, hobbits? Medieval knights (the old ones and also new print) I do not think we can expect any licensed figs (like Spidey, SW or HP, nor Pirates of Carribean), yet SW would be great to increase the army (no, 35 sets 7667 did not give me enough soldiers).

I can confirm the PO as winter set. And no, next modular building is not police station, nor repair shop. The only title that could be modular in the list of 1022x is Town Hall (no, I have not seen the picture, just the title).

Colors do not matter much, at least for me. I am getting this whatever color it has. Now I am starting to look forward for the PO and TH.
