Hi Calabar. Haven't posted anything in a long time. I wanted to tell you that, since January 2018, Lego Digital Designer hasn't been updated in almost 1.5 years. I suggest an idea of making a "Lego sets made in Stud.io" if you have the interest to do so. I am saying this because it is likely that it is going to be a long time before LDD gets an update, and as it turns out it could have terrible complications for those wanting to make the new sets. Just wanted to inform you .

It has come to my attention that a guy named JediJACPenguin has uploaded a website with all of the reported Lego sets that are going to come in 2019. The website is this. https://jedijacpenguin.com/everythingweknowaboutLEGO2019.htm As you can see here, I actually don't know if these are definitely the Lego sets that are going to come in 2019. I honestly think that there is a 50 percent chance of the sets actually coming out, as shown by some of the sets that have already been reported at Brickset with the pictures on them (all Lego Movie 2 sets and the Spider Man Mech vs the Venom Mech). If anyone wants to talk about this, feel free to talk about what you think about all the Lego set list.

While searching around on Brickset I found these four Lego sets: Car = 4033 Aeroplane = 4034 Boat = 4035 Space Plane = 4036 Are these hoaxes or something? They are marked in Brickset as "Designer Sets". Upon further investigation I found a Lego set called "4037 Helicopter". If anyone knows about the source material let me know.

By the way I actually was thinking of the Rolls Royce Phantom however this simply wouldn't fit the Speed Champions theme, because as far as I can tell, despite having a V12 engine with 563 horsepower, it looks a bit too casual to look like a sports car. Not to mention it's more of a luxury car than a sports car. It would be better for the Rolls Royce Phantom to be in the Creator theme, not to mention the Spirit of Ecstasy would be way too big for a 6 stud wide car to be represented for a Microfig. Not to mention the Spirit of Ecstasy could be kinda hard to make: I am still looking for better ideas. Has anyone thought of the Koenigsegg One:1? I was thinking of a Bentley Continental GT as well, considering the Ford Mustang GT and the Chevy Corvette Z06 were in the list of Speed Champions Cars.

You know what? Next year, I absolutely demand the following pieces: The 1x2 plate with rounded corners and hollow studs The 2x1 triangle tile Roller coaster track pieces. The Lego elves kite tiles with the bar underneath them (see 41194 Noctura Tower and the Earth Fox Rescue) Seriously. If they're not here, I'll be fine, to be honest

I'm excited! As for the new parts... I would have preferred someone make a PDF file of all of the new parts with pictures...

That sounds like a great idea. I have never seen this car before, and it looks cool. So we might be able to get a lot of new Lego cars. But yeah it looks a bit too casual for me to be made to a Speed Champions set as it looks a bit ordinary. On the other hand have you ever thought of Koenigsegg? maybe an Agera R or S would do it. Or the Agera S, which looks like this (although it's an Agera S1): But then again, being that you said something about privately owned companies, I will never know what Lego will think. Not only that, but because Koenigsegg was founded in Sweden and not Denmark.

That is interesting. I never knew that. If people had voted for the DB5 the 10187 would have been the DB5 instead of a VW Beetle. Things would have been very different if we voted for the DB5, but since you said that Aston Martin is a privately owned company, I can only imagine just how different Lego would have been today, had the licensing between Lego and Aston Martin succeeded and if that Aston Martin DB5 model got made. Another idea I have is this Porsche 919 Le Mans prototype car: The closest thing I could find to this is the Audi R18 e-tron quatro

Yep, makes sense. Now I am not so confident as to whether or not if this summer set will be an Aston Martin or not. I kinda wish they made an Aston Martin in the first place. Now I will predict that an Aston Martin would probably come out somewhere in 2019-2024. Probably a DB9 would be a good candidate. I have full faith in Lego though. Maybe a Bentley or Lamborghini would be another good candidate.

My hope is that LDD 4.4.0 will come in 2018.
