What about powering with circuit cubes? The rechargeable battery is 4 wide and the motor is 2 wide.

On the German Language version of the shop, the remote and the train motor are marked “sold out”. But only the remote was discounted. The hub is still available for I think the regular price = 49.99 €. The colour & distance sensor is also available for a regular looking price…
  3. Yeah, what he builds for is called IIm scale (aka “Gartenbahn”). This is 1:22.5 scale modelling. All models are narrow gauge.
  4. This is also a nice idea:
  5. Hi, this would be the right scale trains for your Technic figures:

I really love how you used the butcher‘s axe as side mirror!! May I ask, which part you used for the front grill?

Hello Matthias, yes, the blue rails were original Lego parts. The train theme started with them in the middle of the 1960ies and they were replace by the light grey rails appr. 1978.
  9. Hi, I can only confirm what was written about TrixBrix. Fine quality for 3D printing and vast choice of geometries. Where economical, they even have replaced/supplemented there 3D printed track pieces by injection moulded versions (e.g. their double straights). A good video about their products “in action” you can see here:
  10. Hi Holger, congrats for this work! It is a pity there was no publisher willing to print it, as nothing can replace to hold a real book physically in one’s own hands!! Regards Carsten
  11. I went a different way and connected my 7740 12V-train motor to a Buwizz. The Buwizz can supply up to 12 V ;) Works perfect and no extra power pick-up car is necessary.

  13. Hi Liam, really looks fantastic! Is it meant to ride on track or ist meant only as static display? if it rides on track, which radii does it handle?
  14. Very cool! Love it!

Hi, you should definitely take a Look at mattzobricks.com. This guy did a lot to describe how he automatized his layouts: KR CaL
