LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
Thanks for the tip! Yes, the new one does look better in many ways. Are there any competing MOCs to consider that are better than both 10134 and 75181? I'm aiming to build the best, most realistic Lego models of as many Star Wars vehicles as possible --- in most cases, certain MOCs are the clear winners.

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
So as owner of a 10134 Ywing, but having not built the set yet.................is the new set expected to be even better than the 10134 version? Should I sell the old version and pick up the new one? Are both worth building & keeping? I probably only will need one Ywing for my collection and would just like to build the best one for display.....

Building Mortesv's Nebulon-B Thread
Trying to acquire the parts list here.....for the 30603 "Brick, Modified 2 x 2 No Studs, Sloped with 3 Side Pistons Raised", medium stone grey is not currently available. What alternative color would be OK (if any)? Same goes for the single barbell (91049) --- I plan on getting that in silver. Also, I wasn't keeping track of the full parts list ---- does the list include parts for a stand to support the model?

Build Your Own Plus Size AT-AT
Great --- so would it be worth it to keep the 75054 (that is the one that Raskolnikov built upon, right?) for the parts and sell the 4483?
-
Build Your Own Plus Size AT-AT
This MOC looks fantastic. Similar to my question in the Mortesv CR-90 thread, I currently have both the 74054 and the 4483 official AT-AT walkers, both unbuilt. I plan on building the Cavegod AT-AT someday and would like to build one or two smaller ones in the meantime. Should I sell the official ones and build this one (if I want the best)? Are any of the official ones worth keeping if I do build this model and plan on the Cavegod version someday?

[MOC] UCS A-Wing
Thanks Anio! I think I found most (hopefully all) of them. Will order some dark red & white spray paint to have ready. What did you use to paint your pieces?
-
[MOC] UCS A-Wing
Which pieces needed painting (besides 61406)? I don't see this indicated anywhere in the instructions --- I ordered the parts list as-is on rebrickable. Should I expect to paint anything besides 61406?
-
[MOC] UCS A-Wing
Thanks for the fast reply, Anio! What paint did you use to paint the pieces white? Some sort of spray paint?
-
[MOC] UCS A-Wing
Can't wait to get started on this build. I have ordered everything except for the following part: Part 61406 - "Plate 1 x 2 with Tooth and Flexible Tip" I cannot find this part in white. What color do you recommend getting this part in? What is the best paint & method to use to get it the proper color? In the latest parts list, are there still 19 parts were that are not the correct color? Which other parts need to be painted?

Building Mortesv's Nebulon-B Thread
Is the best way to acquire parts by using the rebrickable "Buy Parts" option? Would a better way be to export the parts list to a .csv excel file and then import that into bricklink & brickowl? This will be my first major lego custom build and I'm at a loss as to how to acquire all of the parts for it (and keep track of my progress acquiring the parts) while not spending a fortune. Any and all tips on how to best acquire the parts for this will be greatly appreciated!!! I would also be interested in any offers for sale of the full kit for this model, if anyone is interested in parting with theirs.....

Building Mortesv's Nebulon-B Thread
Yikes! I'm just interested in building the Nebulon for starters, but using rebrickable "Buy Parts" function yields purchase options of much more than $1000 and for only about 80% of the parts.....
