I think TLG (The LEGO Group) considers 1978 to be the official release year. Since they Included a miniature 497/928 Galaxy Explorer in their 40th anniversary of the Minifigure set.

Beautiful mini-scale versions of timeless sets! Though still, we should of gotten D2C sets!

These are all amazing! The Imperial Soldier takes the cake for me! The Sam Sinister one is also fantastic. TLG needs to take notes! That's an innovative reimagining you've done there, I really like it! Agreed.

I'd love to see a new time travel theme. Also, we need a theme with famous bands!
