Is the Finch Dallow thing real? saw the fake mag posted with comments saying its going for up to $500 but hard to tell if that is the sealed fig in the full set or the one most got direct from lego.com customer service, anyone know if that is valuable and what new versus used means for this fig?

Decent variety this wave, l fantasise the UCS Gunship could be in a Geonosis arena setting, cant picture it being practical for play or display at too big a scale...but in the arena setting rescuing Jedi could be epic

I am really really really angry with Lego group today, no need to do this to their loyal collectors. This and Bespin were hardly typical convention sets, branded as 40th anniversary and gifted to scalpers

Its still coming soon on Amazon, probably just a show to cover for the previous mistake when stock sold out. Lego really dropped the ball making these region exclusives, no excuse to expose fans to scalpers when they have region web sites

I think the exclusives should be something unique to the event or its location, not classic scenes and ships stamped with a 40th anniversary special to increase collectability even more. They expose their worldwide loyal collectors to scalpers and fraud. Its a weird year but Lego have understood this from all the feedback that led to the region change but rather than be fair and spread availability across all region they chose a region exclusive model

Toyworld do have some sales, 20% off lego last weekend

Its looks like a good model but l really hope they are working on some new models for regular and UCS releases

No sign of the drop ship in Melbourne stores, including Toyworld who have the other 40th sets on shelf today

I have been waiting that long too and really surprised it has not been back in stock for online purchase. My suspicion is they underestimated the storage and shipping costs and are now keeping it off online purchase to use retail channels and save money.

I am very surprised the set is still not available WW online, its been way too long.

For anyone in Melbourne The Lego discovery center has Falcon stock today. Just in time for Christmas. But note its not a real Lego shop apparently so no VIP card.

For that price point l am not sure the restricted stock strategy is the best. Getting caught up in the excitement l was ready to purchase but every day of reality and bills saving will make the purchase harder to justify, its not a status symbol like an i-phone people can show off. Agree 1 per customer for a VIP sale would have been sensible. But l am sure they will make a fortune
