Creator Winter Village + Friends Snow Resort?
Well, I couldn't find enough dark tan, but I decided to try using some medium nougat masonry bricks instead, sourced from the Elves Capture of Sophie Jones set and that TLBM Catwoman set (because the original set had medium nougat near the doors and around the hot tub and I wanted to continue the pattern), and it looks great. :) So I'm going to stick with that. Plus, it doesn't contrast with the lime green like the dark tan does, so I've relegated the dark tan for use on the foundations for the train warehouse I'm building to compliment the new Train Station. Yay recycling. XD

LEGO Nexo Knights 2018
Yeah, me too. Do you know where I can see those? (Please tell me they aren't part of the no-longer-available images.) Because while I take your point (and it is cool), I'm wondering if these 'fangs' might actually be more like insectoid mandibles. Though I won't say for certain either way until I've seen them. I also would be surprised at the red eyes, but I'm thinking back to the yellow-eyed Stone monsters (for whom yellow was otherwise not part of their colour scheme whatsoever) and . . after that, I'll believe any eye colour. Even if I think green would be better. Still, fingers crossed that the builds, at least, will have a similar sort of vibe to the alien insects from Galaxy Squad (a theme I deeply regret having missed). EDIT: Okay, found the picture. You're right, those are totally fangs. Go Virus Vampires!

LEGO Ninjago 2018
I'm really interested in the story behind this new season. The Sons of Garmadon seem like some kind of biker gang bent on gaining power via these magic (probably evil) masks, which is cool. But how do they intend to resolve this with reviving Garmadon? I'm also curious as to what's going to happen with Neo-Samurai X. I mean, it's obvious that 'he's' really PIXAL, but how will they reveal this? Fingers crossed it starts a character arc for Zane and PIXAL about mistrust.

LEGO Nexo Knights 2018
I'm not sure why everyone thinks that the bad guys this time will be 'Techno Vampires'. Everything I'm hearing about the 2018 NK thematic implies that Monstrux will become some kind of computer virus (like an evil Merlok 2.0) and start taking over all the technology in Knighton (thus explaining the evil Squirebots - they've been infected) while going all Digital Overlord and trying to build himself a new body. The insect thematic is a pun on 'computer bug', and the special new Nexo Powers are going to act a sort a sort of anti-viral that can immunitise the Knights and their gear against the virus, which can possibly be transferred by biting - okay, now I understand the vampire thing. But it's still more of a virus.

Minecraft 2018 - Rumors and Discussion
The image s I saw weren't very good, but I think there was an updated Ghast. With a disc shooter in its mouth instead of a stud shooter. And a Blaze in the same set. Since I didn't want to shell out for a Nether Fortress, this is very good news. Really? The Cave and The Dungeon are still around? Because I haven't seen them. Where do you find them? (Also, yay baby zombie!) Plus; we finally have a stray! It's about time! Now we just need a Desert Temple set with a husk or two. (Also, I have a theory on the revamped igloo; you know how, in in-game generated igloos, there's sometimes a basement that contains a priest villager and a priest zombie villager? That feature was missing from the first Lego igloo - I mean, I doubt there'll be an actual basement. But there might be a cell with a villager. ^^) Weird thing is, I really expected them to give us either an End City or a Woodland Mansion. Maybe it'll be for the summer sets.

Creator Winter Village + Friends Snow Resort?
Oh wow, those both look good . . . I wish I had enough of those parts in dark tan and sand green to do that. (Actually, I might try scrounging up enough dark tan to combine it with the lime green I'm currently using . . . or do you think that would be too much contrast? The brown, white, lime green and dark tan?)

Whoa. I don't remember seeing that. What year was that from? And what was it called?

Creator Winter Village + Friends Snow Resort?
Ooh, that does look good. :) I have been tossing up whether or not to get the Friends Ski Lift to give my Winter Village's inhabitants some fun on skis. If something like that can be built using the parts, then it might just be worth it. Still, any opinions? (Also, where can I get the instructions for that?)

Creator Winter Village + Friends Snow Resort?
Alright, finished! Yes, I know they aren't exactly the same, but Winter Village buildings are generally facades too! (Except the train, of course, but the point stands.) Plus, you have to consider that in spite of Winter Village's rustic 18-19-00-something charm, there's actually a few hints of modern technology. The toys in particular look pretty modern to me, as do the various Christmas lights that decorate various trees and roofs. So I think that Winter Village is an old-fashioned village slowly coming into the modern era with only vague hints of technology for the most part. This is a long-winded way of saying it does not break the thematic to have a jacuzzi on the Chalet. Anyway, photos! . . . . Imgur apparently doesn't like me and won't let me post anything. And the file size is too big to just post here. :( Does anyone know any other good sites I can use?

Creator Winter Village + Friends Snow Resort?
Is it just me, or, now that I'm getting ready to set up my Winter Village stuff, does the Friends Snow Resort line look like they're only a few alterations (and a bit of stripping out the pink) away from fitting in nicely alongside the Winter Village sets? This is more pertinent to the Chalet and Ice Rink sets than the Ski Lift and Off-Roader. What does everyone think? EDIT: And the Hot Chocolate Van! I completely forgot the Van . . which is more of a take it or leave it set for Winter Village applications, depending on what time period you picture your Village in (and how much you like hit chocolate).

2018 City Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Do you know where I can find those? Aww, the police station will be built into rock? That doesn't sound promising . . I was hoping that the Mountain Police Station might, with a few changes and some extra snow, be put into my Winter Village as the local arm of the law (yes. I was excited about a police station. You may expect the apocalypse now.), but if it's literally built into the side of a mountain . . . that's sounds not very promising. :( But, on the bright side, the world isn't ending.

Best way to replace defective minifig hands?
So, I'm not sure if this is an 'everyone' problem or a 'me' problem, but I recently got a Lego Minecraft skin pack. (#1, the one that comes with Gabriel from the Story Mode game.) When using them, I noticed something odd about the four included minifigs' hands; they seem to be thicker than normal minifigure hands. It's difficult to get them to hold onto round studs and they feel loose when holding onto bars, and it's impossible to get them to do both (something I have no trouble with for normal minifigs). So I was considering this and then realised that, owing to the Sherman number of 'Steve' minifigures a person racks up by collecting Minecraft Lego, I had plenty of pristine, unused spare flesh-coloured hands that I could use to replace the faulty ones. But . . I've never tried anything like this before, so I want to kms; what's the best way to remove and reattach minifugre hands while inflicting as little damage as possible to the interior pegs or arm parts?
