I hadn’t even considered the possibility but if we got a brick-built Zavok that would be a must-buy.

Sonic the Hedgehog - Rumours and Discussion
Any number of brick-built Badniks, this is not new. Biolizard, Super Shadow and Metal are hype though! Bit disappointed by the low piece count for Biolizard, it’s probably going to be smaller than I’d like.

Metal Sonic and Cream are my top two. Though I’d also love to see Silver and Blaze.

2025 Space sets
Everyone drop everything there’s a new Classic Spaceman colour! They’re making the causal outfits for the DREAMZzz characters available through BAM, and they’ve snuck in a Classic Spaceman torso in navy blue as Mr. Oz’ casual shirt! No sign of air tanks or helmet yet, sadly, but this is still exciting!

LEGO Dreamzzz 2024 Rumours and Discussion
I’m intrigued by the prospect of two Cooper sets in the same wave. Good to see him getting some spotlight. It’s also weird that he’s going back to the racer theme after ditching that for the robot motif in S2, I wonder if it’ll be the same Minifigure or a new variant? Also, “1-in-20”? Is this going to be like the Watevra Wa’nabi building box? I can’t say I’m thrilled by the idea of another Z-Blob but that does sound like it might be a good parts pack.

LEGO City 2025 SETS - Leaks, rumours, discussion. (Animals too)
I would be very interested in a bendy bus or similar train carriage design. I don’t think it could be done without some kind of new ‘foldable panel’ part though, because the issue is mostly in the need for it to stretch and contract. Some kind of panel that can expand and collapse, maybe with bars on the end so it can be clipped on to something.

Wicked 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
The Emerald City is gorgeous, hope that goes on sale like the Wish castle did because I want. I actually quite like the small dock set too. It’s cute and has exclusive figures, and I don’t mind mini-dolls as much as some people do. The other two are easy passes, though I do appreciate the detail work on the display stand for the dolls. If that goes on clearance, maybe I’ll get it as a parts pack.

LEGO Dreamzzz 2024 Rumours and Discussion
So I like my worldbuilding and city building, and I’m looking at the new outfit for Zoey and thinking . . well, it’s not a great outfit for Zoey herself, S1’s version of her was much better, but given its availability in the polybag I kinda want to get four or five, put different heads on them and use them as Night Bureau grunts. Which means I’m going to need a Night Bureau base in my city, and neither the Treehouse nor Castle Nocturnia would really fit. Hrm.

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
I didn’t think the balloon pieces could be printed, but then earlier today we saw the Shadow Bust, which uses a printed balloon piece to form the curve of Shadow’s head. If they made a machine that could print that piece for him, we could see it be repurposed for printing this set. That might even be why they chose to make a hot air balloon this year.

Sonic the Hedgehog - Rumours and Discussion
This . . this . . I actually don’t hate it. Like, it’s awful and pointless and a waste of a set slot, but I’ve grown so numb to these weird display models that this one in particular kind of just wraps around to being hilarious. I don’t know why, but all I can think is Mario Galaxy 2, specifically the ‘face-ship’, and how much I suddenly want to install a cockpit or something and have Shadow (or his biggest fan) ride around in a giant floating effigy. If/when this goes on discount, I might try it, just as a joke MOC.

LEGO Fortnite 2024 and on - Rumors & Discussion
Battle Bus is amazing, but the lineup is weird. A lot of them make sense - Drift, Cuddle Team Leader, Meowscles, the special LEGO Peely variant - but Cube Assassin and Trespasser Elite? Those are so random. And I guess ‘Battalion Brawler’ is our Jonesy variant? Google says that’s the official name of the default skin Jonesy from Chapter 3 . . why not just call him Jonesy? Since that’s apparently who he is? The other three sets . . I don’t get it. Seriously. Who asked for - okay, okay, the Loot Llama makes sense. Wish Brite Bomber came in that instead and freed up a slot for Skye in the bus, since she has the llamacorn motif. But who asked for a buildable Durr Burger? Or Peely Bone? Those are going to end up on clearance. I could maybe see someone buying the Durr Burger to use as a starting point for a restaurant MOC. But Peely Bone in particular is just a really weird use of a set slot. Disappointed but unsurprised by the price increase rumour. All the same, I honestly think I’ll only get the Battle Bus. Maaaaybe also the Llama if I find a good spot/idea for it. I hope there are more sets and more minifigures (Skye and Midas!) next year because . . this can’t be it, right?

Fenghuang’s Wall-Mounted Fleet Battle Display
I’m back with another update, to celebrate a lucky find; I managed to add Kylo Ren’s TIE Silencer to my collection! It. Wow. It’s actually massive. I put it in the best spot I could find, posed in battle against the Apostrophe, but it only barely fits. I might have to come up with something else to display it . . Other additions include the TIE Interceptor and Fang Fighter double pack, backing up their respective factions. The Fang Fighter and a small jet I had left over from Ninjago: Prime Empire are elevated off the wall with different techniques I’m experimenting with. There were a couple of incidents of things falling off the wall. Enough said. The jet doesn’t really fit with the rest of the B-SPACE fleet (that’s Babylon Sector Patrol Aerial Combat Exemplars) though. It probably won’t stay. I also managed to get my hands on a second TIE Fighter! Which isn’t special but good for bulking up the fleet. And I tossed in Green Lantern on his way to help Captain Marvel. Because that’s what LEGO lets me do and I have no reason not to. :P I might need to get a better camera if I’m gonna keep doing this . .

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
I just managed to snag a BNISB copy of Kylo Ren’s TIE Silencer at its original RRP through Facebook Marketplace. So stoked to build this and add it to my wall-mounted fleet battle diorama. It’s going to be the flagship of my imperial fleet. ❤️

Sonic the Hedgehog - Rumours and Discussion
Actually, I really hope they don’t do that. Because we’ve already gotten Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow. And Amy, who’s been rumoured to also be in the third movie. If they made sets based on the movie, the budget that could go towards the likes of Cream and Silver will instead be wasted on new prints and designs for the Wachowskis. And, admittedly, they’ve grown on me after the second movie, but we can easily make purist customs of them so I’d be really disappointed if we got regular human minifigures over new characters. Speaking of, I would love Cream, but wanna throw my support behind Silver, Blaze and Metal Sonic for the next wave. Seriously, how have we not gotten Mets in three waves of sets? He’s the most iconic villain after Eggman himself.

LEGO Dreamzzz 2024 Rumours and Discussion
It’s honestly baffling that Doom-Blob is not the one on the front of the box. Also, the new cauldron mech torso thing is indeed two half-cauldron pieces that go together! I called it! ^^

LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion
I decided I couldn’t wait any longer and grabbed the Titan Dragon Mech. Honestly, it’s kinda overbuilt? Like, the posability is amazing, but were the sliding bolts on the knees really necessary? Also, holy crap that sword is massive. This mech is gorgeous but the sword still feels disproportionately big. Out of curiosity, I grabbed the large sword from Jay’s Titan Mech (and they’re using the same style of hand so that was easy enough) and, after modifying it just a bit so that the thumb won’t clash with the giant shuriken crossguard, I actually think it looks better. Both more proportionate and more matchy. Also, now that it’s in hand I really have to question the colour scheme choice. The way the central body and shoulders are black, it transitions to grey and rocky on the upper arms and legs, and then suddenly it’s white on the forearms and lower legs? It looks fine in pictures against a white background but in person I really don’t think I like it. Overall, I . . It’s not my favourite. It’s a great starting point for a MOD, it’s definitely in the top three best Ninjago mechs of all time, and I am hugely looking forward to whatever comes next, but . . it pains me a lot to feel like I can’t rate it above 7/10, and even that’s generous. Also at this price they absolutely could have thrown in some villain minifigures. It’s not that much bigger than the previous Titan Mechs (except Jay’s, runt of the litter). Come on.

I love the hot-rod-modded Delta-7 vibe. I was already committed to getting this one just for Jedi Bob, but the build is genuinely gorgeous and innovative and I like it a lot!

Am I crazy, or would that Nighttrooper helmet be a great starting point for a custom of Sentinel from SW: Hunters?

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Finally pulled the trigger on the Fang Fighter and Tie Interceptor. The latter in particular is a great addition to my fleet, I’ve been waiting for years to find something to complement Major Vonreg’s TIE, one of my first SW ships. I was worried they were too different, but they actually match quite well and I think it’s believable that they were originally the same type of ship and Vonreg modified his quite heavily. I might still modify one of them to match the wing angles of the other . . but not sure which . . hrm.

Fenghuang’s Wall-Mounted Fleet Battle Display
Okay, no takers. I’m surprised, with how many spaceships LEGO pumps out I’d have thought fleet battle displays would be all the range. What, are y’all just lining your spaceships up on shelves? Anyway, thought I’d share what I’ve done so far! As I mentioned in my first post, this isn’t all necessarily Star Wars. It’s a clash between the forces of Babylon Sector Patrol, the navy of my LEGO city, and the Last Order, my homebrew imperial remnant that I created back when I played Factions. Way back in 2019, the TLM2 Systar Spaceship was going for 60% off so I bought like five to form the basis of my fleet, and I’m finally putting them to good use. Other noteworthy inclusions are the Ninjago Hydro Bounty and ShuriCopter repurposed into a battlecruiser and heavy cruiser respectively, and Mei’s Dragon Horse Jet and the Lightyear XL-15 as escort-class ships. And don’t forget my repainted Gauntlet-class Mandalorian Starfighter, flying BSP colours! On the opposing side, the TIE fighters are immediately recognisable, as is my modified Gideon’s Light Cruiser (with an upgraded bridge that seats three minifigures!) and the Eclipse Fighter, which I managed to snag preowned a couple of years back. I’m looking forward to getting and adding more ships to this display, the currently available TIE Interceptor and Bomber are next on the list so that the Last Order will have a bit more of a fighting chance. Maybe Maul’s Infiltrator too? Also, yes, this is a Jedi riding a dragon and fighting a Sith with a robot dragon. I love LEGO. (Jedi girl here is also Club President of the Dragon Spotters!)

Why are we getting buildable figures instead of a train. Why. Optimistic for the Emerald City though!

LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
A new picture’s appeared of the extras in the Droid Factory set . . it’s Go Brick Me all over again, with glasses, funny hats, a duck floatie, etcetera. I . . hope that a lot of eight year olds have lots of fun with this set. That’s the nicest thing I can think to say. Also how dare they not include a QT-KT minifigure-scale droid anywhere if they’re doing this. (I love that L3-GO exists but I honestly would have preferred QT-KT.) Maybe she’ll be somewhere in the 2025 January wave?
