  1. I am not familiar with this particular part of the Star Wars universe but I like your creation a lot. Seeing something in this scale with the little details is just pleasant for the eye.
  2. This is the first Tiger Porsche variant I have seen in Lego. And it doesn't disappoint! Will we see more of this in the future? I definitely hope so. Possibly Japanese WW2 or modern tanks? Haven't seen much of those in lego yet. Keep up the good work.
  3. I am too tired at the moment to write a lengthy reply but let me just say this is looking really damn amazing. I took a glimpse at your previous Venator which was already excellent but your new design seems to be even better. Keep us updated!
  4. Really, really nice. I can easily see you put a lot of effort into this. I can tell by the realism and detailing that went into this build. I like the combination of having the rough, frozen corridor and the cleanness of the medical room. Any chance you will do similar builds in the future?
  5. This is actually really nice. I personally like spacecraft in midi scale a lot because it offers enough room to add details while still being an overall compact design. Just like your Y-wing. Please show us more vehicles of this size in the future!
  6. This is some next level stuff. I would personally never even begin building something with those angles like the Falcon has, but you nailed it. I could use a lot more words to describe how good this is but let me just say this is one of those creations that has the ''wow-factor''. Absolutely amazing.
  7. Hollander replied to Sunder's post in a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
This is a work of art. Now I do admit I am biased towards warships and sci fi themed capital ships, but that doesn't change the fact this is an extremely nice build. The flight deck (if that's what it is) at the rear reminds me a bit of those hybrid Japanese battleship/carriers. And the main guns make me think of the ones on the Scharnhorst and Gneisenau battlecruisers. Did you get inspiration from those ships by any chance? Also, the line rigging of the ship and the smaller gun positions really finish this build when it comes to the details. Would love to see more of this in the future!

Haven't seen such a funny and well built MOC in a long time! 10/10!
  9. Very original and funny creation! I like the landing ship (not sure what vehicles of this type are called) in particular. One question; what is the little thing left of the camera guy? Is it a control pad of some sort?
  10. Hollander replied to Anio's post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
I hadn't seen this before. Let me just say you did an more than amazing job. You absolutely nailed the cockpit section, which seems the hardest part of the ship to recreate in this scale. This is better than official UCS sets. Also, the green version is my favorite.
  11. Hollander replied to The Chosen One's post in a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I like this a lot; the robots are both futuristic and realistic looking, and those platforms they are standing on makes me think of some weird sci fi future.
  12. Its unfortunate the sci fi section isn't as popular as the Star Wars one, because this definitely deserves more attention! Your creation seems to resemble the real thing well; a massive block with a large amount of greebling and details. Great work.
  13. Very realistic and interesting creation! Since you asked for feedback I will give you my opinion for what its worth. I do think a square plate would be better indeed, since it would be much smoother, just like the waffles.
  14. Well that is up to you of course! I personally like a mixture of smoothness and studs, but if you want to make it entirely studless you should do as you like. Its your creation after all.
  15. This is really a great MOC! I am mostly into spacecraft, but I have a lot of admiration for people who can build mech's like these! You clearly wanted to make this thing as smooth as possible, since I can't find a stud anywhere except from the one on the 3x3 disc bricks on its shoulders. Besides that I like the color scheme; I think dark and light gray, in combination with the dark sand yellow work wonderfully together.
  16. Hey that is a pretty cool ship, although I am not familiar with it. You seem to have captured the details well! Maybe I have asked this before, but what program did you use to render this? It looks almost real!
  17. This is great! I can see you put spent a good amount of time creating this thing, considering its fairly large and very well detailed. The overall shape of the Spinner doesn't seem to be too easy to pull off in Lego, but you did this very well. This ain't something I could build myself! Overall an excellent MOC. And it also makes me want to watch Blade Runner again. Because who doesn't love retro sci fi movies?
  18. This is really well done. It reminds me a bit of the Slave 1 in the new Cloud City set, since they are both ships in a smaller scale than lego normally makes them (while stile fitting a minifigure). And I think Lego should make more of this in a slightly smaller scale, so sets become more affordable. Anyway, I think your creation is great. You made it compact while still having enough detail to it, And I wouldn't mine seeing more creations in this scale! And by the way, you should make the Obi Wan version for real, the brownish red and lemon green accents are the best.
  19. Hollander replied to Jerac's post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
I see a topic with a new MOC from Jerac, I click. What can I say? This is another excellent creation, which is expected from you I think we can say! I wanted to write about how I thought a particular part of the build was the best, but after scrolling up again I had to decide there is no best part ... let me summarize. - Wings, very well done, they seem a lot harder to pull off than regular, square shaped TIE wings and the missile launchers look cool and realistic, and the four 1x1 tiles on the end of each wing give it that extra detail. - The engines + stucture holding the wings and cockpit together, maybe not the first thing you would look at but looks great nonetheless. I think the engines not being too large actually looks good on this type of ship, and this comes from someone who loves big engines! Also, the red detailing at the engine compartment nicely breaks up the gray and black of the ship. - The cockpit, the design doesnt look too complicated but it doesnt have to be, your main goal seemed to be to make the round shape and you pulled it off very well. Nice and smooth, the cockpit interior is a nice detail as well.
  20. This looks really damn good. Has absolutely an retro feel to it! As for your moc, I parficulary like the cockpit and canopy area as well as the frontal part of the engines. Overall an excellent creation.
  21. I have no idea why I had not seen this MOC before, because its excellent! I am not familiar with the ship so I had to do a quick google search on it. and your creation seems to resemble it very well. You have used some interesting building techniques and SNOT as well, so I would rate this ship easily an 8.5 on a scale of 1 to 10.
  22. Hollander replied to Mitch Henry's post in a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I like it! As mentioned it has indeed this sinister look, I can easily imagine this ship infliciting terror on unsuspecting planets ...
  23. These are excellent! I am a big fan of navy ships, and cold ware era russian cruisers and destroyers are no exception. My favorite is gonna be the Moskva as well, because you nailed the hull and details (I recognized the ASW mortars as well ). And the Moskva is just a very unique ship, with the front half being dedicated to armament and the rear to a helicopter platform. Is there any chance we will see a Kirov missile cruiser in this scale as well? That would be amazing.
  24. Amazing job! I love scale models and I like the Land Rover and the excavator in particular (especially the excavator! ) One question though, you mentioned you created the motion blur effect with practical effects? So this means you did not add these effects digitally, right? So how did you create it?
  25. Hollander replied to xadrian's post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very nice! I am really only familiar with episode I to VI, so I don't know most of the ships, but from the ones I do know I like the Tantive IV, the Gungan submarine and the Lucrehulk ship the most. I also like that ship which appears in the game Jedi knight 2 jedi outcast, but I am not sure what it is called. Something with luxury I think. And last but not least those micro A-wings are great too! Very recognizable despite having only a few pieces, literally. May I ask you which program you used for rendering? I want to render an LDD creation one of these days and your renders look excellent.
