  1. Correct me if wrong, but I believe this picture shows the studio model. I think you're right Angel, about the cockpit being somewhat too large. I think the problem is that the SPUD canopy piece is still transparant outward the printed area. I'll try to express my images through this (really bad) photoshop editting. Accurater, right?
  2. Wow. Just wow. Best minifigure scale TIE advanced I've seen for now. I especially like love the cockpit integrated in the model, even more due to the fact that it's a SPUD. The interior is amazing, so is the overall shape.
  3. Wow, just amazing. So simple, but yet great. I love no-studs, and as I pretty much suck in micro scale myself, it's really nice to see such a nice creation in this scale.

I have a question about the opportunity to come up with LDD creations. As an LDD-moc'er myself, I know that a weak structure for example, is not really possible to notice in LDD. MOC'ing in real however, does require that your vehicle or structure is build strong enough so it will not fall apart. So in this case, LDD moc'ers have the advantage that they don't have to make an inner structure. Is this fair?

Same here. I still remember when I found out the set included a ''trans blue bar'' and I was wondering what it was.
  6. Someone has been working on our request. Really cool to see all the builds together. But somehow the New Hope community build picture looks better. Guess it's color of the builds when fit together.
  7. I knew YOU was going to comment on me. Yeah, you're right about the colors, but when MOC'ing I almost exclusively use bley and dark bley, and add only some touches of color.
  8. Hmm, yes, you're right. But I think a minifig cape would be nice when used as a pauldron.
  9. That base works really well indeed, reminds me of the asteroid that space slug is living in.
  10. Many thanks for the review KielDaMan. You put in everything that a good review requires, and there is also pictures included of all the bricks still in their bags. Kudos for that! The only thing that I feel are missing are pictures of the bricks layed out.. But, maybe that's more work than I expected, as I have never done a review due to a lack of a good camera. About the ship now. I have to say; as a model of the Millenium Falcon, TLG didn't do that of a great job here. They could have done the mandibles better, as they determine the shape of this ship much. Would it require and drastically changes to the ship if they had to make the mandibles better ''flow'' into the ship? Don't think so, so I don't see why they didn't do that, as it would made the ship way accurater IMO. So am I nit satisfied with the bottom of this ship. I don't ask for SNOT or a perfectly finished bottom, but they could have done better here. However, the set IS pretty detailed, and although I doubt how many of you would buy this set for parts, for me this is one great part package (especially for the 10 cents-a-part ratio). It includes a lot of 3x12 wedge plates, which I will need for the Executor I want to build in a couple of months, lots of tiles (you can never have enough of 'em), hinges, bricks and slopes. And whom 95% is bley. I mean, what you need colors such as red and yellow for anyway as on OT MOC'er?
  11. Now that's what I call excellent work! The doorway is an eye-catcher, but all the colored figures standing in front breaking the gray background make this MOC stand even more out. Good job!
  12. I would still like to know if this is likely to happen. Looking good so far fallenangel! I like the use of the binoculars. And you clearly have an eye for detail. Can't wait to see the finished product.
  13. Great! Really cool to see a vehicle matching your moodland scale figures ''M<0><0<DSWIM''! I can't sport any missing details, but there is one thing that is bothering me somewhat; the legs. Shouldn't they be a little more narrow? Or is it just me? Anyway, awesome work, I would love to see more vehicles in this scale.
  14. Battle for Geonosis contains a bley one.
  15. Is 8128 box' higher than 7915 ones? It looks so big to me compared to it's content.
  16. Another LDD project; a custom made SW ship. It will be pretty large, larger than the Y-wing.
  17. This is just awesome! Really great to see those guys in real. Just one little tiny thing, the Snowtroopers' pauldron(?) made out of 1x6 tiles looks pretty good, but it still seems a little odd to me. I don't know if this would look good, but maybe you could try to use two, white minifig cape's?
  18. I would like to have the Galactic Empire symbol, as I'm a big fan of OT and especially the Empire, obviously. I like the CIS too, but they finish second. Thanks!
  19. I was actually thinking about those creations last week, glad you opened a thread about it angel.
  20. The Falcon was actually only there to accompany the Tantive IV, not to be in the spotlights, so don't be too harsh on the little fella.
  21. Indeed it does. You can recognize the thing at the bottom, which is the magazine in real, as it's based on the C96 Mauser pistol.
  22. Than what's the difference between sci-fi and SW?

Excellent is the right word to describe this piece of art. What a well-shaped and detailed ship, it has some kind of ''odd'' look over it, which seems perfect for a bounty hunter. The color scheme is sweet, very ''star-warsy'', I used the same scheme a couple of months back for an airspeeder I made. Lots of gray, and touches of dark blue and -tan. And I love the cannons.
  24. Nice one Doc! Any plans on building this for real?
  25. Hollander replied to jansued's post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
Awesome! What a beautiful ship.. so much details! The use of the bley and dark bley wedge plates fitting right in each other is sweet, so is the black front section with all those antennas. I love the escape pod and the two pilot seats even more. Looks like they came straight out of a sci-fi movie.
