  1. Wow, that's great Illuwater! Never though someone would give this LDD design a shot. Good luck. I hope you can solve all the illegal LDD techniques I used, the floating bricks etcetera, as my design was purely build for the looks.
  2. What a lovely scale. They both look pretty cute too. Guess R2-D2 on this scale would be cuteness overload.

    12.
  4. Haha, especially the last one made me laugh Skrytsson! And that's why this forum is only restricted for AFOL's huh.
  5. ACPin, could you replace my first entry with the new one? Thanks.
  6. Een mooi stukje werk! (A nice piece of work!) Especially the kettenrad.
  7. You're welcome. Glad you like it.

Indeed, the bowcaster alone deserves it's own thread.
  9. Especially the last source is useful. On starwarswikia I found these schematics, but those weren't accurate, right?
  10. Thanks Brickdoctor. Hope it will work.. .lxf file And again.. this is NOT buildable in real without the heavy proper modifications..
  11. Thanks for all the kind comments people! Really makes me happy. Actually, this LDD design is not buildable in real, as it doesn't contain a frame and is influenced by a lot of ''illegal LDD techniques'', like floating bricks. If I (or someone else) would build this in real, it would be possible, but there would also be a lot of things need to be fixed before it can be turned in a real model. Well, I do have enough grey and also the white parts I would need for this build, but specific pieces like the two large ones at the end of each engine and the flex tubes have to be bricklinked. I believe the price can not be checked in LDD extended. But maybe I'm wrong, I'll check it for you. You could be right in this case, my thought were the same. I didn't know where I can find any realistic schematics for the Y-wing, so I don't know of the engines should be shorter. Sure, I'm going to find out how now. And thanks for the backstage support 'fallenangel309', the flex tube for example, was your idea.

Even as a non-alternate model this would be great. Just outstanding work. I wonder if we are gonna see even more alternate builds.

W-W-Wicked! This is so sweet, the shape and the touches of dark red, the bowcaster..

Very nice indeed. I especially like it's rifle, looks really realistic.
  15. About time this made it to the frontpage. By the way; any plans on making a Super Battle Droid? I think that would be pretty much awesome.

I like this. Simple but pretty accurate. If I would have to give some constructive criticism, I would say that the legs should be a little longer OR or the body somewhat smaller. That would fit the dimensions better I think. Oh, and congratulations on your 3000th post.
  17. This is great. Both Cody and Rex as the battle droids. Not to mention the posing and blasters rifles. I'm wondering though, shouldn't the back piece of the battle droid be a little shorter?
  18. The following emoticon says all: VERY nice creation. People coming from all over the neighborhood to watch the clowns/artists.

Wow, this is neat. I like the very mechanical and robotic look it has. Good use of the large two dishes too.

Or maybe at the tip of the wing? Good luck.
  21. Can't wait for the Y-wing Gold Leader. I really hope to see some SNOT when this set is released.
  22. Pretty cool stuff. I like the functionality of the vehicle. And it instantly remembers me of the mining theme. However, if I was you, I would try to make a somewhat larger and brick built trunk. It would increase the looks of your vehicle IMO.
  23. Really nice! Detailed and the stud/tile ratio is perfect IMO.
  24. Did anyone already mention the lovely waterfall?
