LEGO Prince of Persia Month - the Eurobricks Contest
No, a sticker wouldn't count. A piece of string would. A camel is NOT a minifig.

MOC: Royal Carriage
Nice work, Sandy! With all the Kingdoms hype, I am glad to see the Crownies haven't been abandoned by MOCers yet This is a very solid looking carriage with just the right amount of detailing and colour balance

Red Moon: Chapter Six
Fine, take the sword It looks like the apparition left us a clue as to how to assemble the fragments. Quick, draw a diagram before another demon attacks us!

Red Moon: Chapter Six
I'd like to cut Diesel a little, just to learn him not to mess with a Scandinavian blonde - not too much, just a little nick on the face (No, this doesn't advance the game in any way but it is immensely satisfying.) Penny, can you see any other rooms back there? Maybe the mechanism is on your side rather than ours - after all, we're the ones that are trapped in here with the demons, not you. Do you need any help?
-
Red Moon: Chapter Six
Wow, demons have babies? I just thought babies were demons... I wish to grab the sword and slay the baby demon. Yeah, I'm mean like that. I'd also like to resist Diesel's attempts to grab the sword off me afterwords. That boy is fixated.

Dystopia: Day 2
You have no real basis and that's what people are objecting to. Incidentally, calling people a bunch of 'headless chickens' isn't the kind of rallying that will do you any favours. Wait, how am I a suspect if I was right about Drake?
-
Dystopia: Day 2
Your reason was meta-gaming based on someone's behaviour in previous games - as you said so yourself - so don't wait for a tidal wave of support to knock you over I don't trust Seth and if the roles are assigned randomly then there's no real reason why two of the coastguard couldn't be insane. Voting based without any compelling reason or logic is on the nose to me and it seems like Seth has picked on an easy target. Vote: Seth/ Sandy

Cameltraz is brilliant and hilarious! The camel even has that non-plussed expression, and a nice build

Dystopia: Day 2
Shame; I hear they're the tastiest part. Oh, you don't mean from Drake, do you? My bad! What??? Don't say you weren't all thinking it too. Four dead bodies and this glorified cook has us on a vegetarian diet!

LEGO Prince of Persia Month - the Eurobricks Contest
It depends how you connect the animal to the leash. If the leash is just resting on the animal, then the animal counts separately. If the leash is actually connected via a stud or other official LEGO connection, then the animal doesn't count towards total pieces. NO SEPARATE TOPICS FOR MOCS WHILE THE CONTEST IS IN OPERATION! It is unfair to other entrants who have complied with the rules to post separate topics. If you can't show off your entry within the framework of the rules then maybe your entry needs tweaking No exceptions will be granted to this rule, no matter how awesome the MOC is! After the winners are announced, however, entrants are welcome to post a separate topic with their MOC showing more views/ commentary.

LEGO Prince of Persia Month - the Eurobricks Contest
I look forward to it! Yours is not to question why; yours is just to do and die. Yes, unless they're part of the minifig or the minifig is holding them.

Who wouldn't want a delicious gold scorpion or decapitated kitten? Great entries, keep them coming!

LEGO Prince of Persia Month - the Eurobricks Contest
A puppet is not a minifig, so yes. Anything made of bricks counts towards the brick count. If a fig is holding a puppet, it doesn't count. Some amazing entries, everyone! I look forward to seeing more entries in Category 1 and Category 2 as the deadline looms closer...

Dystopia: Day 2
Let's not just assume that Seth is innocent either. There's no fixed rule that only *1* of the Coast Guard crew were Insane. Seth seems to be taking advantage of the reveal about Drake to distract attention from himself. Remember several times early in the Day he swore his unwavering support to Drake - for what reason? Why in such strong terms? Maybe Seth knew more of what Drake was attempting than he is letting on. Seth seems suspicious of almost everyone else - damned if they speak, damned if they don't - but we should keep a very close eye on him as well.

If Malaysia Legoland was open, I could have gone there. But it's not due to start operations until 2013!

Dystopia: Day 2
I know, Bill. You work for decades and decades in some menial job, looking forward to the end of your work life and the holiday you will take with your best bud, and then as soon as you fly out you crash on some deserted island with a bunch of murdering loonies! It almost makes me wish I'd just gone to Disneyland instead

Dystopia: Day 2
Sweet jesus, what a massacre! I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. If this continues, the island will be emptier than a monkey's skull within days.... *gibbers and climbs a palm tree* *takes a few deep breaths, climbs back down* Well it appears that those of us who suspected that at least one of the Coast Guard was Insane - and that the handsome blowhard Drake was a prime suspect - have been proven correct. Seth, you seemed to provide unwavering support to Drake - do you have any explanation? Or should we turn our attention to you?

Persian House (MOC)
Nice work! The shape is very classical and the detailing is just right. The new colour does look good en masse! I disagree; for a new colour the part selection is actually pretty good and contains a lot of basic bricks rather than too many specialised pieces. Compare it with the release of other rare colours like dark red or dark tan, where we are still waiting to see some basic parts appear in those shades. We do need some plates and tiles though. The colour also features heavily in the Harry Potter Burrows set but I don't know if the part sleection is actually any different.

Who are you in The Prince of Persia?
Ooh, great work The Penguin! Very menacing!
-
I want to know this thing...
Only the model with the three figs, skele, printed horse and dark tan bush is in production. The other image is just a prelim, which I have only ever seen on the UK toy store Hamley's website. I haven't seen it anywhere else and it isn't in production.

Dystopia: Day 1
The point is that its much easier to eliminate one snake out of three than it is to pick one out of the whole pool. Your argument ignores the fact that the wider the pool of potential suspects, the much harder it is to agree to get a bunch of terrified, panicked and confused people to even agree who to nominate and vote for. It's human nature not pure alpha-numerical logic that is at work here. I don't see any other startling evidence that has come to light that would indicate anyone's particular Insanity, so it looks like we'll be waiting tomorrow. By which time some Sane will probably have died and we'll have advanced no further.

Dystopia: Day 1
You're kidding right? Odds don't get much better than that. It is much easier to identify 1 person out of 3 than it is 4 or 5 out of 20+, especially if we're trying to come to some agreement. I agree with Shirley and Samantha on this one - wise women, both of them - but with all the other voices of confusion I don't think we're going to have much luck. So next we have to identify who is babbling just out of naivety... and who's deliberately trying to confuse the group as a whole. *inserts 10 paragraph essay on the history, politics and structure of the US Coast Guard here*
