Best sources of casual civilian minifigs?
The minifig collection and even sets like the Advent Calendars usually have a higher proportion of specialised workers rather than civilians in any case. You get what you pay for mostly, and you can't buy lots of figs without buying big sets. 10199 Winter Toy Shop is a good choice for a lot of generic figs with a mix of legs, torsos and faces. The best civilian minifig set was the 8970 Agents Robo Attack which had 3 unique at the time civilian minifigs with great prints, which are starting to spill over into regular sets (like the Airport). If you're happy with the faces and hair you already have, I'd just take the plunge and buy an assortment off BL from the US. For a few minifig torsos (even a lot) shipping is surprisingly inexpensive. House of Logos has a good mix in Town minifigs from 10196 Carousel and 10199 Toy Shop at US$2-4. You could buy a bundle there and still come out OK. Or you could just wait until the Collectors polybags arrive

City 2010
Red 2 x 2 windows? I'm not sure those 1x4x6 pieces with cross bar have been available in the new mould before either (although they were common in older sets). But for once, I agree with the Cracker It doesn't do much for me either and kind of looks like a prefab tenement in hospital colours of red, white and bley. Still, it must be at a good price point and let's hope it appeals to its intended market of CITY fans who presumably don't buy Creator houses and populate them with their own figs.

Lego Creator Parrot?
This was discussed with the other promo sets when it was first announced on brickset a while back, although this is its first seeming appearance in the wild. I will lock this until I find the other topic and merge it.

Happy Birthday WhiteFang
That's illegal in Singapore. I wouldn't worry.

What should there be in the next Agents theme?
Yes, please don't create 'competitions' out of the blue. Since there actually doesn't seem to be any competition element here anyway, I will change this to an 'ideas' thread. I'm also pretty sure this isn't the first Agents Base ideas thread, so if I find an old suitable one this will be merged.

Get them started early!
I think it's a sad indictment of how far the AFOL community has fallen that even kids are playing with LEGO now ... Hahaha! Only kidding. Bring on the addiction!

Why would you say that? DJs had both the Cafe Corner and Green Grocer, so it makes obvious sense for them to continue with the Modular Houses. K-mart seems to get the Star Wars Exclusives, Myer the 'monument' sets and other bits and bobs (perhaps the Flagship in June?), and Target Spongebob and the leftovers

Skellie opinions
I like the old skellies, but the new ones are much better for poseability. I think the reason why many didn't like the new ones so much was that using the super-long droid arms (instead of creating a new skele arm piece) gave the skeletons really strangely proportioned arms. I would have liked an updated skele with a tailored arm design as a third option I do find it weird that LEGO seems to be going all out to remove difficult (ie small) click-connection points (like changing the window shutter design and now the Castle round-topped door piece as seen in Toy Fair pics) but reintroducing old skeles with their minisicule arm connections.

Why so serious?
Wow! Amazing work! Is there any LEGO art form you can't master? I'm not sure about the tan/ dark tan for the peeling makeup, the contrast seems a little high. But the mix of colours is superb and the font work with the softening touches using trans plates is very clever.
