Red Moon: Chapter Two
Dammit! I knew we should have taken a more cautious approach before violating the heritage sanctity of this temple! Let's hope we're all paying attention and the clue is not lost. Can we see how many dashes there are? I wonder if they match the number of letters in the words 'Sword' or 'Silver'. I'd like to pick up the nearby flat stones and start digging around. Cautiously!

REVIEW: 8087 Tie Defender
Thanks for the amazing review, starstreak! As usual your pictures are top-notch. You have increased my desire for this set, but at it's Australian RRP of $AUD89.99 ($US80~ plus) I will be waiting for a good sale if I ever pick this up. The design looks intriguing, and very appealing, but a set based on a vehicle which originally appeared in a game I played briefly as a teenager is very much on the lower threshold of 'must-have' for me And I have no doubt that the macrocephalic TIE pilot will be in another set soon enough in any case

They are down for me now too. Good thing I saved them! I expect they will be up again soon. They had all the 2010 Jan releases plus the Passenger Plane, but none of the other later releases such as the Farmer set or Airport. (Had all the SP3, SW, PM, Imperial Flagship and Creator sets too). Here's the interior of the Passenger Plane:

The 2010 instructions are now here! There are some extra ones for sets that haven't been released yet like the 3181 Passenger Plane It's a little disappointing though.

MOC: Green Grocer Style Boutique & Apartment
I quite (surprisingly!) like the mix of lime and medium blue - surprising since neither are amongst my favourite colours. This kind of building reminds me of suburbs like Newtown in Sydney or parts of Melbourne where areas that have fallen into genteel decay have been reclaimed by the 2nd hand market who paint the lower levels in loud colours! I don't know about the dark bley roof. It can be hard with limited rooftiles but if you have the parts even a dark blue scheme might work better overall. Dark bley is just... so bley! I really like the clock decoration above the door too

REVIEW: 10210 Imperial Flagship
Did any US buyers get this set yet? If so, do the US editions come with the 2 dress prints for the Captain's Daughter?

Prince of Persia 2010
If it is printed, I honestly don't mind. As long as the print quality is better than all the Castle bardings we've had in recent years which have been either smudged, overprinted or misaligned horribly, at least with most of the sets I bought. I have more than enough plain horses so some printed ones would be sweet

City 2010
Can we please stop reciting this $US160 price like it's a fact! We went through the same thing with the 10199 Winter Toy Shop and the rumour that it would be at $US100 was just as ludicrous and unkillable then. If there were direct currency conversions between the non-NA market, then looking at Aus prices on S@H one would assume that the new 7208 Fire Station is actually $US128 or the 10197 Fire Brigade is $US275. Are they? No. That should tell you everything you need to know about the disparity of pricing between markets. It is much better to look at sets on the kiddiwinks site and estimate roughly what the prices would be by comparing them to sets we actually know the price of.

Xmas instructions (Holiday Shop)
Thanks Pi! I will see if we can upload them anyway as they may be useful in years to come (unless LEGO just recycles their old models every year )

Atlantis 2010
If you look around you will see many topics on this issue. Check out Pirates for example for a few threads. There are also reported issues with the SW magnet sets and Castle battlepacks. I have personally seen these for myself and for that reason have stopped buying magnet sets/ preassembled figs of any kind. Between the production of Exo-Force and the launch of the new magnet backs at the start of 2009 (The SW ones were the first to show these issues) LEGO's production based moved. Just because something looks a certain way on S@H doesn't mean it looks the same in person. Thanks for the news Oky! I probably wouldn't have bothered to look too closely otherwise

City 2010
Yes, stay on topic please. Let's keep this focussed on the City 2010 sets, not the behavioural habits of AFOLs, the ability (or lack thereof) of 6 year olds to click 'submit' on a poll choice, or LEGO's constant pandering to their number 1 consumer - retailers! (as they always say in their annual reports) lightningtiger's reports have proved accurate in the past. I do understand some of the disappointment (even if it's premature) since personally since I've been out of my dark ages (about 2003) I have collected a disproportionate amount of cars and trucks, so this big set will have to be something special to get me to fork over for it. I've already stopped buying sets like the Garage and the smaller standalone trucks - how many can one possibly fit in to a layout? But kids love vehicles so it makes sense for LEGO to keep churning them out. I don't know why this happens every time a price is mentioned on a non-US site but there is no direct currency conversion from non-US prices to US prices. To keep on repeating that it will be $US160 is just misinformed and misleading.

Battle for the imperial lighthouse - old VS new
It's a Piratey Tower of Babel! Great concept and I like the use of all the column pieces! It feels like an epic painting come to life, with a sense of humour

Aussie sales! Share the news of LOCAL sales!
Eclarim, I would suggest that you post this in a new thread within the Buy Sell Trade Find forum. Normally only members with 10 posts can start topics there, but I have opened up access for you. We're all cheapskates in this thread so you may get a better offer if you are willing to ship worldwide. If you have had the collection properly valued, it may be better sending it to auction at one of the professional collectibles/ toy fairs.

Red Moon: Chapter Two
I've never heard of a silver sword being used on werebeings before. Silver bullets, a silver stake... not a sword. A sword is kind of a close range weapon and you'd probably be shredded up if you got that close. With all my kegel exercises, I have actually learned to shoot darts out of my... lotus vase. This could come in handy if we meet any
