Red Moon: Chapter Two
Maybe there is a lotus vase hidden on the other side of the door? I can't see any tell-tale indentations or loose rocks - apart from the ones in Diesel's head. Let's check it out in more detail.

Red Moon: Chapter Two
"He Slivers Lotus Vase." I wonder if Sliver is an anagrammatical reference to the 'Silver' sword? What do others think? Or should we be looking for a mystical lotus and vase? Yes, this strikes me as something you would have a lot of practice at

Red Moon: Chapter Two
Wouldn't the other two go on top, but facing inwards? Thus creating a void in the middle in the shape of the diagram?
-
Red Moon: Chapter Two
Hmmm... if this is an anagram, the best I can come up with is: 'megablocks Revives Lust' *eyes Fred Thomas thoughtfully* True yet probably not pertinent. Maybe the first letter of each word is a clue rather than the whole words themselves? Anyone have any ideas?

Red Moon: Chapter Two
I wonder if we would be violating any local heritage/ conservation laws if we were to move those portable stones around? I guess we could just put them back where we found them at the end of the tour... Would it be possible to get an overhead/ sketch view of all these broken stones out the front to see if there is any hidden pattern?

Red Moon: Chapter Two
Neither did I. I was wondering what you were babbling about. Just assume I was somewhere offscreen doing Kegels

Kegel exercises. I may be recently divorced, but it's good to stay limber

MOC: Modular Apartment with Erdy Icecream chain shop
Yays! It's great to see the finished version. The dark tan and dark green accents work well together, and the design cleverly maximises your limited stock of dark green. I love the little cherry tree design for the entrance to the restaurant (and little pool). Even the lighter tan brickwork of the icecream shop looks good - maybe tweaking the awning colours only would make it more visually consistent.

Castle Sets 2010
I agree - it makes sense for parents and consumers, lots of small sets for impulse purchases and then only one big Castle to buy! The mid-size sets are also the ones that seem to disappoint IMO, so I'm not sad not to have too many.

What is the difference between "medium blue" and "blue&
Nope. Check the colour guide here: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp

Red Moon: Chapter Two
Oh my! It looks simply stunning! More lilac than carmine at this stage of the evening, but as the eclipse begins I expect we'll see the violent flood of chroma! I must make some notes for a future commission I may be working on. As well as being a natural blonde, I am also a talented interior designer. You'd be amazed how many big Hollywood names want their jacuzzis recreated in the style of an ancient, crumbling temple to the blood moon complete with willing, nubile virgin sacrifices *cough* Tom Cruise, Michael Bay and Angelina Jolie *cough*

Harry Potter 2010 discussion thread
I'd love to see an official source for that statement because it gets quoted and reposted but I haven't seen any actual basis for its truth. I suspect it was more of a fan theory concocted after the first wave of classic sets was released to explain why there were no ToD sets in 2008. I am happy to be proved wrong if anyone knows of anything more official!

Brickshelf no longer allows PDF uploads, unfortunately. How big are the files? It is possible that we could host them on EB temporarily (no promises made!)

MOC: He Slimed Me
Very cute work! It certainly raised a smile.

Harry Potter 2010 discussion thread
I think if this is a best-of, there will be greater effort put into the sets and they won't be so 'samey' as the original lines 2001-2003 became after a while (although that was deliberate in that you could expand your Hogwarts layout). Obviously these are all fairly identifiable key sets or locations rather than obscure movie-specific playsets so the general buying public may have greater awareness of a Hagrid's Hut rather than a Knockturn Alley, for example. I seem to recall their was some licensing issue with the Hogwarts Express in that they couldn't sell a motorised layout in retail stores (but were allowed to do so via S@H as an Exclusive) as another company had that license for a working train. Someone else may know more about this than I, and in any case that other licence may well have expired.

What is the difference between "medium blue" and "blue&
Medium blue is the lighter blue colour of Market Street/ the Medieval Market Village house: The original blue is the colour of the ship's hull in the Harbour set:

I previously merged this topic here. Locked! Thanks.

City sets availability
Merged topic. Please don't start new threads for every set you're interested in Take a look around and get to know the forums before posting these kind of topics. Also, be more specific in your question. Do you mean from S@H? In stores? In which market - NA or rest of world? Thanks.
