Big Ben set? I can safely say I have no idea what you're talking about
  2. If you feel a post is too personal/ inappropriate, please use the 'REPORT' button to report it to a moderator. Don't discuss it in-thread. Thanks! By the way, I heard that KimT was Darth Vader's other super-secret apprentice, do you really want to bring him in here to practice his 'Stay On Target' skills? Do you?
  3. Thanks for a fun game, Quarry. I am glad the skumpkin got to use his special power at least once Damn Sir Dillon's vague and unspecified power. It all went downhill from that false result, we were so confused! Can you explain why the results were anomalous and why she thought she had something inside her? I mean in story terms, not in game host terms And yay for me! Brilliant even when I have no idea what was going on!

I don't think they're Duplo - just hollow studs. If you compare it with the solid stud camels, they look the same size - normal 2 studs.

Lovely! Thanks very much for resizing these pics!

Check the first post or pinned index in the Licensed forum. This is NOT the place to discuss the Toy Story train. Thanks!

    Not yet.

I know; I snipped it Nice spotting with the tractor - they definitely look related

Which also means you shouldn't quote the offending image....

I'm not sure we get any track at all. The box art looks painted in, although this is only a prelim image. It would certainly keep the price of the set down is they just released it as a 'push and go' model. Hopefully at the very least it will be compatible with the existing track.

Cute Where's the Xmas layout then? Weren't you going to post that?

The whole sentence in context: 'minifig scale City construction set'. It may be minifig scale but it is not a City Construction set! It is supposed to look like a kid's toy. Does the Western Train look like a real Western train? No! For the same reason.... You're all a bunch of whiners! This is clearly intended to be a small, cheap set just to get you Lotso, Octopinky and whatever the hell that brown thing is. I will update the index, it obviously fell off in the last edit
  13. Again, thanks for the reviews but your pics are way too large at 1500+ pixels wide. Resize to 800 wide before reposting. Thanks! You can learn more in the Tutorials Index.

Thanks for the lovely review! Unfortunately at 1500 plus wide, all your pics vastly exceed our maximum picture width of 800 pixels. Please resize before reposting the images so our members bandwidth doesn't get devoured! If you are unsure how to do this, check the Tutorials Index.

I'm glad for once they put the new fig in a cheap set, rather than burying it amongst rehashes in the $US50+ ones which I'm not so interested in Thanks for the review!

I don't know why everyone dislikes the dumper truck. It's NOT a normal minifig scale City construction set - it's a LEGO set deliberately designed to look like a toy Dumper truck. Of course it's going to look stripped down and simple.
  17. Merged! Thanks Otters Please do have a look around the forum before creating new topics if you suspect (as you did here) that something already exists. Thanks!

Cracker has cracked the case! It's fairly well known now that some of the City sets are available now, so you can post either here, or in the City Sets Availability thread.
  19. yellost brings us a beautifully detailed review of Atlantis must-have 8061 Gateway of the Squid Click here (or on the pic) to view the review and join the Cthulhu chatter!
  20. Sweet review! This is the one must-have of the Atlantis line for me! (Well, along with the Mantaman Impulse ) However some of your pics are pretty huge. The normal maximum we allow is 800x600 - I'd appreciate it if you could resize some of those 1400+ wide behemoths down a bit (box and instruction art especially). You can always link to the original shots if you think that detail is important.
  21. Yes, it's a good parts pack. Dark brown 1x2 tiles I also want a zillion of those dark brown half-cylinders for large scale tree trunks. Sell on the figs to subsidise the parts! I'm sure they'll fetch a decent price.

Happy birthday, Bobby Otter! Thanks for planting the subtle diary alert in my brain in the Advent discussion thread! Too bad you didn't win, haha! I always feel sorry for pre-Xmas birthdays. My birthday's in Feb but I still get told to combine presents since they're so close together. Boooo! Insist on your natural right to presents before *and* during the official Festive season! Birthday greetings to Faramir and Navy Trooper Fenson too! Have a great day! EDIT: Merged. The title pun is first, Milan and I posted almost at the same time
  23. I've moved this to BSTF for the time being. Surely the fact that you can not yet post directly in this forum would be a hint not to create this topic without permission? Why create a whole new sales topic in a completely irrelevant forum such as General Discussion & News rather than contact a moderator first and ask if it's OK? That is not behaviour we encourage. I will lock this topic for the time being and see what other staff members have to say.
