  1. Hey Splat, which Technic sets did you get? Do hope that you at least get the 8043 Excavator unlike all of us who got a refund + a loss of 3% from total cost due to o/s charge (at least I did).

  3. That's the exact e-mail that I received so it looks like The Hut isn't honoring the deal. Haven't received my refund yet, got notification on the 30th of April. How long did it take your refund to go through BrickAl?
  4. Hi, Been an ongoing follower of the thread but haven't been bothered to create an account until now. Just wanted to let you know what's happened with my 8043 order off The Hut. I ordered a smaller Technic model a little earlier than my order of the 8043. A couple of days later, I received confirmation that both items have been dispatched. Both e-mails came separately with a short interval. About two weeks later, on a Thursday, I see a box left at my front door, it was the smaller Technic set and since they were dispatched separately, I thought that my 8043 set would arrive either on Friday or the following Monday. Then come Saturday, I received an e-mail from TheHut stating that AusPost has returned the item to sender (TheHut) without any reason provided from Auspost (their claim) and if I wanted to find out why, I should contact AusPost which I did on Monday. All I had was an order number and therefore the Customer Service representative on the phone could not help me and told me that once TheHut receives the item back, they would be able to look into the matter. I have since contacted TheHut but they have not responded. With the set taken off the website, and Splat not having received his set either, something doesn't seem right. I have a feeling that they've realized that shipping the item for free is a mistake and they're most definitely making a loss and have therefore gone ahead to say that it got dispatched, wait a few weeks and say that it's been returned? Haven't had any issues with ordering games off them but yeah, this just seems suss. Would like to know if Brix got his too. Also, KSTART15 code doesn't work anymore =[
