When I get my hands on that advent calendar, it really isn't going stay sealed until December. I may have to get two so I get to open windows in the run up to Christmas.

Yep, but I want to keep that medical droid for a separate MOC of the medic bay, and display the scenes at the same time. I also picked up a 7251 Darth Vader Transformation for £5 - I'll have a look at the FX-9 and see if it needs modding.

Picked up a couple of 7749 Hoth Echo Bases for £15 each on eBay, because I wanted a couple more Tauntauns to MOC a decent holding pen. Could do with another medical droid to stick in there, as per the scene in ESB. One thing I noticed in that scene is that one of the rebels in the pen appears to be dressed in a greenish uniform, very similar to the rebel commandos on Endor. It may just be my eyes, though.

There was a Swoop in Mos Eisley in the SE of ANH, but it's not the sort of thing you'd see a Sandtrooper with.

I've been heading backwards and forwards to my local Asda over the past few days and they still have the HP sets above marked at nearly full price. Am tempted to take one to a till to see if it scans through at the cheaper price, but don't want to pay full price for them.

TRU in Southampton had 7879 Hoth Echo Base today. Not that anyone is particularly enamoured with it on here.

The problem is that WHSmith's Lego is so overpriced in the first place that neither BOGOHP or £5 off a £15+ spend are cheaper than getting Lego in TRU/Shop@Home/Amazon or anywhere else for that matter.

They were in Southsea and in Portsmouth High Street today. I was in Southampton High Street this morning but didn't look in Smiths, sadly. I'd imagine that they are on the same or similar delivery run though so they were probably in Southampton today.

Just in case anybody is interested, Collectable Minifigures Series 5 are now available in all WHSmiths that I have been in.

A bit closer on the TIE Fighter. But not much.

As well as the TIE Fighter news, I saw this tweet: Oh, and the TIE Fighter is sat in front of the panel in this photo. Obviously, we can't tell much from that distance, but at least we can see that it uses light bley for the wing details rather than the blue of old. Yay!
