  1. The second set is rumored to be 3455 pieces, so probably around 300€/$
  2. I really like the building, but I’d prefer if the top part was filled with brown instead of white, so it would look more broadly European and not specifically English Tudor. Whats is in the smaller establishment? A Hairdresser or a Tailor? We had both already - in the DO and JC, so it seems like a cop out…
  3. I like the tree and the posters- adds more variety. I admit the statutes seem a little out of place - Maybe on the roof they would look nicer. Without the more colourful parts, the museum looks even more like a haunted house
  4. The architecture of the museum is closer to a suburban mansion than a classical building XD
  5. I think that’s the point. So you won’t wait till Christmas and buy it in January (which normally wouldn't see that much traffic). And when Christmas rolls around, you will buy a second set
  6. Yeah! The olive green color scheme should look great, although hope not too spooky or halloween'y. Would love to know where did he get the info
  7. In the past I've gotten way too excited about supposed rumours "directly from a reliable source" for them not to be true. I doubt there will be a reveal so soon, especially since the trend went towards later and later reveals. It's clear that LEGO wants a replacement for the Assembly Square and with the rumoured piece count I think would translate to an 1,5 baseplate size again
  8. TROP is widely seen as a disaster so I doubt Lego wants to do anything with it. It revived the talk around LOTR though, which is why Lego released LOTR sets. Lego Indiana Jones also comes out because of the new move, but is based on the old ones.
  9. The diorama series I’ve seen on instagram is really impressive. I wish Lego takes inspiration. Harry Potter is a good theme to compare to. They consistently get 1 giant 18+ set a year. So 1 set a year is the most likely scenario with some smaller desk clutter in between
  10. Yes, there are countless scenes that would be amazing to recreate. A smaller vignette could be the bridge passage in the Mines of Moria with the Balrog fight. But it seems we are getting only large D2C sets And I think they do look back - the Barad-dûr looks like a perfect companion to the Tower of Orthanc
  11. How is no one talking about Lothlórien? We didn't get any sets from the old wave and this location has so many iconic scenes. I want to see Galadriel in demon form Same with Bree - interesting location with an amazing Nazgûl scene
  12. I would like some architectural models - in the style of wallingwater or the Guggenheim museum. Back to the roots!
  13. Love seeing all the Lego news channels having a simultaneous orgasm XD
  14. Wonder what's heavier - the Ring or this set? XD
